    "I believe I am not any longer needed anyway." Without giving room for Amraphel to reply, Sirius heads for the armory. Enough time was wasted and there was a Vox-unit integrated in an Astartes Helmet for a reason.

    Amraphel smiled as the apothecary left for the armory. Such a fool; maybe the apothecary would attack him one day and then Amraphel would put an end to the fools miserable life, but for now the amusement the apothecary provided simply was of too much value to him. Such a blind man, following the some old piece of paper instead of learning ones own lessons, to not value ones own experience and evermore draw from a fools book, such a behaviour was more fitting for a child than for an astartes. For the moment Amraphel kept his remarks to himself, tired of the constant bickering.

    "Do not ask "Why kill the alien?" rather, ask "Why not?"," the Chaplain responded as he nodded to Feron, obviously satisfied with his choice. "Everyone who is going in the boarding action will be able to take a boarding shield and a flamer alongside him, while I also approve of the Land Raider being sent to the ground."

    While the Flesh Tearer spoke, the joint attempt of two Librarians was met with some degree of success. As far as the space battle went, they felt a significant enemy force aboard those Kroozas which still haven't be deployed on the ground. Various warbands were still waiting on their turn inside numerous hangars while the Ork "Captains" slowly turned their ships around to deal with the incoming threat of Space Marine heavy cruiser. But aboard one of those vessels, they felt a strong alien presence, a dark mind that was reaching out to them, its uncontrolled power felt even across the stars.

    Pulling back from it, their focus shifted on the planet itself, feeling a great force of Greenskins marching from the North and West. Of that force coming from the East they felt only small presences, but nothing that could say for certain where those claims where true or not. Once again, they felt a mind leading the great attack from the North, but a little bit different than the one aboard Krooza, because this one gave away more in terms of primal savagery than actual psychic potential. There was also one similar to it pushing the Greenskins from the West. They were all ready to kill, happy that they are on the ground and killing. As for human forces, their moral was low but at least those they felt were guardsmen from the Penal Legion, were ready to die without any problem. Of course, the PDF forces were another thing but it was well expected...

    "If everything is settled, let us go to the armory and prepare ourselves," Marmaroth ordered as he went to don his tactical dreadnought armor.

    "ah you've arrived" as tempestus spoke a serf walked up to him and he motioned towards draconian as he did so he held out a sword in a scabord to the librarian and then bowed to him with the Handel towards the younger librarian "this is purgatory a force sword my mentor gifted to me before he died, as i no longer have a chapter or successor to pass it onto it is my wish to pass this on to you" as he spoke he then looked towards Marmoroth "before you think of declining try the blade in the training pits first"

    <Icelos with the Spacewolf>
    "That is th-" Icelos cut himself off as he saw the direction he was heading. Unless he had ulterior motives, he was heading for the Armory. At one point, Icelos was the same. He would do what is required, no need to have a briefing to determine his job or to question orders. Then again, the Wolf was nothing like Icelos and probably had some twisted motive about avenging his Primarch. Icelos shook his head and made his way back to the briefing. Seeing the Apothecary past by him on his way out.

    <Back to Briefing>

    Hearing some of the argument from the nearby corridor, Icelos re-entered the room to hear his position. And as quickly as he had entered, he made off to the armory.

    <Armory>
    Icelos picked up the Axe of Ultramar along with his previous gift. The Plasma pistol. Grabbing any average Bolter, he also picked out two clips of Metal Storm Bolts and 2 Frag and 2 Krak grenades. The feeling of going into combat barring his livery would be a refreshing sensation.

    OOC: Yar for Sirius, as for Steinar, does whatever he wishes, imagine he can help prop up the defense of Bor or Kordoba.

    <Steinar Greywold>

    Once Icelos was gone, he marched onward once his original Chainsword and Bolt Pistol were grabbed. The Power Fist and the second Chainsword remained behind. They were not his, they belonged to Marmaroth and the Angelfall. Before anyone else he was already in the hangar and sat down in the Land Raider, having spotted it was readied for deployment.

    Having entered after Steinar, he did not know that the Space Wolf was here. Casually he grabbed two Frag Grenades and 2 clips of Hellfire Rounds for his Bolt Pistol, which would burn through the Greenskins easily, given this was ammunition made even for Tyranids. He holstered the Bolt Pistol, one clip of Hellfire Rounds already loaded and then grabbed a Boarding Shield.It would do well in tight corridors.

    Once ready he waited outside of the Armory for the rest of his team.

    Draconion's eyes snap open as the prognostication ritual comes to an end. At once, he flips open his tome and begins speed-writing his notes, already having confirmed observation and analysis with Tempestus mind-to-mind during the ritual itself.

    "Initial prognostication. Voidside observation indicates significant troop reserves aboard Ork fleet, along with probable prime Ork psyker presence," he says, reading aloud as he writes, "Planetside observation indicates following: Ork presence in East zone apparently relatively light, but unable to confirm at this time. North and West zone Ork concentrations are heavy, with presence of one prime leader in each zone confirmed. Allied morale moderate to low, with offworld Guard troops averaging higher than PDF.

    Overall observations do not indicate presence of prime Ork Warboss. However, multiple leaders noted. Initial prognosticative report ends. My thanks, Ancient One."

    With a nod of thanks to Tempestus, he makes a quick job of cleaning up the ritual space, finishing just as the serf arrives with Tempestus' old sword. When Tempestus explains his purpose and extends the sword towards him, Draconion's face takes on a look of reverential awe, and he falls to one knee before the Dreadnought, head bowed in reverence.

    "I am unworthy of such a storied blade, Ancient One. You give me more honour than I deserve," he says in a low, urgent voice, "Yet, I will not dishonour you by refusing. I humbly accept with great trepidation. May I prove worthy of this great gift."

    Looking up, he takes the sword across both hands. Raising the weapon overhead, he bows his head to it, paying homage to the weapon's spirit, its history and its former wielders.

    "Jigoku-dono, Tatsuro desu. Yoroshiku, onegai shimasu," he murmurs, following the time-honoured sameru ritual of acquainting oneself with a weapon of great worth.

    Sir Purgatory, I am Draconion. I beg you aid me and look upon me with favour. I look forward to fighting by your side.

    Rising to his feet, he fastens the scabbard to his right side, opposite from Ryugamaru, at its usual spot on his left hip.

    "I must certainly revise my nigusoku to make the fullest use of this noble weapon," he comments, using the colloquial Tahken term for two-sword play, "You have honoured me more than words can express, Ancient One. I will endeavour to add to Purgatory's roll of honour. Please excuse me a moment - I must confer with Commander Feron on the upcoming mission."

    With a deep bow to Tempestus, he walks over to Feron.

    "Commander," he says, deliberately adopting great formality in addressing the older man to bolster Feron's standing as Force Commander, "Pursuant to initial prognostication, we recommend that the boarding team aims to eliminate the prime Ork psyker as its first target. On another note, have you any plans for the mission configuration of the Salvation? If not, I have a few suggestions, if you would hear them."

    <Feron>
    "Only a fool turns away advice Brother, I'll hear whatever you've to say, as it stands the Salvation is loaded for primary anti-infantry duty for obvious reasons. As for the Ork Psyker make it so, if you and Tempestus have divined it a primary target then I'll trust the Chaplain's team to your guidance. "

    <Amraphel>
    After entering the armory chamber Anraphel obtained one of the boarding shields that had been prepared for the boarding team; the thing was clumsy and heavy, but the extra layer of ceramite might save his life inside the narrow confines of a starship. He thought that the wrist mounted flamer had made a good addition to his gear, for he would now be able to fight with mace and shield while still burning the enemy with deadly ignited promethium.

    After this has done Amraphel did some last checks on his mace, the brutal weapon would be ideal for the next mission. It wasn't a very elegant weapon, but there was little room for elegance during a boarding action anyway. Amraphel took the mace and attached it to his belt continiueing to check his next pair of weapons.

    The plasma pistols were both resting in holsters made of ancient leather, both had been checked in the armory for any of the normal problems, typically asociated with plasma weapons. They were perfectly prepared and in a good state and Amraphel was sure that they were going to take some pityfull xenos lives today.

    He proceded to check his armour. His bone white robes were in good order and lay above his ancient power armour. The ancient suit emitted an aura of power and awe, it was menacing and mysterious and considering it's age its systems were working remarkably well.

    Finally Amraphel stepped towards a crate and grabbed a frag as well as a incendiary grenade, hoping to use them to take out crowds of greenskins during the boarding action. That being done, he was ready and waited for the rest to ready up.

    He trusted those he fought with ... a little, but being armed to the teeth never hurt either.
