OOC: My char was just somewhere. Thought it was going to be a quick intermission. So im going to make sense of it. After the Chaplain's blessing had hit Icelos's ears, he stood back up and smiled. Holding his bright Bronze helmet to his head, he let it sink back into the armor's neck cavity. The hissing of the servos relieving him. He nodded his head in respect and left the hangar. He only had let his advance anatomy 'heal' his wounds from earlier, but he still needed proper medical attention. Putting on his new armor was more trouble then he thought. As he left a slight limp took hold of him. Arriving at the medbay, he let himself in. He let his limp show openly now, nothing to hide from the medics. He approached one of the bed and was greeted by a Medical serf. Hopefully nothing would need to be lobbed off.
< @Loldoom @DeranVendar @DaKaptin > Marmaroth also heard the Edd's report and he ushered a simple order for everyone. "Do not harm the Knight," sadly, his words came a little bit later than they should've. Sigismund's arm was blown off by the reactive bolt shell, but not before the plasma grenade went off and obliterated a piece of generator, one of more important ones as they would later discover. Lights flickered all across the ship as the sudden loss in was felt on every deck, the primary lighting turning into secondary, red light. "Angelfall" also lost its shielding, however the Inquisitorial force was still further away and Jannika already decided it was best to run and evade fighting, so at the moment it wouldn't prove as much hindrance as it would in the time to come. As for Sigismund, the man was quickly surrounded and captured by the mix of Stormtroopers, helped by the Ogryn and the Salamander. Quickly enough, he was knocked out and relieved of his weapons and armor. But still, he wasn't dealt with as some would think - the only thing they did to him was throw him in the brig, awaiting for further orders. <Angelfall> The ship itself was damaged (after the recent sabotage even more) but it still retained warp travel capability. And indeed, after couple of minutes of inner-system flight the vessel entered the Immaterium, loosing the pursuers behind it. Of course, the Inquisition could not be so easily swayed and their long trek through the stars began... Intermission phase begins now... During the time before they broke into realspace once more, the journey lasted for couple of weeks. This time was used for helping the wounded and dealing with any remaining injuries. Sirius got his hands full with this, while Angelous was busy fixing the broken ship. Chaplain spent first week in seclusion, praying to his Father for guidance he so desperately needed. However, at the weeks end, the Flesh Tearer came out of his sanctum and continued with his usual activities because if there was a time his skills were needed amongst his brothers in arms, it was now. As for the others, Draconion had no luck with his attempt at divining the future. The only thing his ritual told him was that the future was clouded, many uncertainties lied before them and many more dangers will they have to face before their work was done. Amraphel received a new weapon to replace his stolen one, a one-handed power mace with its head shaped in an image of snarling wolf, perhaps a relic of some older time and place. Sigismund remained in prison, but was well taken care off, although the time he spend was mostly in solitude. The ship itself was in much worse shape than they were accustomed to, running low on energy and supplies made "Angelfall" a dark vessel, giving it a more ominous feel, however Commissar Strauss kept things under control with his now smaller group of Guardsmen, their overall number counting only a little over two hundred. These were dark times indeed, and will soon become much darker... OOC Other players, feel free to emote your wounds getting patched up etc. This is the real start of the Intermission phase so I'll be rolling out those traits eventually At the moment, we are flying in the warp, our current position Segmentum Obscurus, somewhere above Vostroya More posts coming shorty
tempestus stood on the bridge helping the astropaths and navigators plot the course to take so to fool their pursuers, he also decided to let no one know what he had planed during this time but he made sure to have his two arms with blood tallons attached incase the ship was boarded so that he did not have any weapons that could damage the ship while he was there
<Steinar 'not so enthusiastic space puppy' Greywold> The Space Wolf remained in his room ever since the... Incident. He would welcome guests and never be armed. Only the Power Armor he wore, while Chainswords, Power Fist and Bolt Pistol were actually resting in the Armory, far from his grasp - should he lose control of himself. Of course, no word or sign from Fenris nor Thain. This was a decision that rested fully on his shoulders, still not sure what to make of it all. <Sirius Jules> Eventually the work for today was done as everyone was stabilized, his usual, final routine checkup of the day was completed. Sure he was on standby should anyones condition worsen, but that would be truly a surprise to him. Awkwardly enough he opened up to the entire crew. Was more out of his Office and laboratory, more often in the cantina and other public places, talking to the regular crew and even now he was standing on the bridge. "How is it going, mi Kapitan?" Sirius asked the young woman, quoting a play he had read sometimes. Seeing Veritas, he gave him a mere nod.
Amraphel weighed the power mace in his hands, fine weapon, maybe not as elegant as his sword but in his opinion it was fitting, as matters escalate so would his fighting style become more violent. He knew many combat styles many from worlds that no longer existed, from brutal hacking styles of feral worlds to the art of many blademasters, living in the upper area of some hive spires. Somehow he felt complete again, mace fixed at his waist, a flamer with a full tank of deadly promethium fixed at his wrist and two plasma pistols held in ancient leather holsters.... somehow...he felt he was complete again. While striding through the corridors, many thoughts went through Amraphels mind. The young wolf had been quite calm as of late, maybe the fool was concerned with notions of honour and glory and couldn't reach a decision. Amraphel decided to include a visit to the blood claws chamber in his 'to do list' , even though he probably wouldn't be very welcome. The other thing he wanted to do before visiting Steinar was paying the newest inmate in the brig a visit. After all information was indeed power, and surely getting information about the knights employers or any hint of their plans was worth a try. Some time later he arrived at the brig; the area was heavily guarded by stormtroopers and gun servitors and a breakout seemed nigh impossible, at least for a mortal. It took some time and idle waiting until the stormtroopers let him pass but finally he was allowed to step into the knights cell. With a razor sharp voice Amraphel spoke to Sigismund:"So Sigismund, you have finally revealed your true colours; well played indeed, of all, I never suspected you. Now you will reveal who your employers are will you? And pleeeaassee don't start talking of I had do to it, because my honour demands it, or my faith in the emperor compelled me and so on.... Long ago, when the emperor still strode amongst men, the imperium was founded on one thing above all and that was truth, and truth, simple and plain is what you will tell me Sigismund."
OOC: FYI, I have no problem with dual-conversation, it would just be rather problematic/annoying for you always posting <Amraphel with Sigismund> ; <Amraphel with Steinar> #SeparateTimelines
OOC: Thats not how I ment it to be. Sigismund will probably not reveal much so my char will move to steinar after this, if you're ok with it. #noseperatetimelinedwecandoitanotherwayokayyayslaasnehbillclinton
<Jannika> The Apothecary found the ship's Captain overlooking some dataslates, out of her throne and sitting on the holotable. "Uh...what?" she asked before she even got her eyes up to see the Son of Guilliman, her face a bit more pale than usual and her black hair unwashed and oily. "Ah...it's only you Serious." "It's...going. That's important at the moment. It's going and we are moving. And we are alive, so at least that counts for something, eh? What about you? Running away twice now in your life, I bet there aren't many of those who could say the same thing." EDIT <Angelous + @DeranVendar > During one of those times Feron was available and wasn't doing anything in particular, he could hear the Techmarine's voice in his helmet calling to him. "Brother Feron," his voice was cold as ever, "Can you meet me in workshop 3, just below the hangar. I need your expertise on something important. Angelous out."
<Feron> From the moment they translated into the warp the Salamander had eschewed his power armor and donned a simple workers smock, sealing himself away with Angelfall's forge to work. Toward what ends or goals were at times obvious, other points mysterious. With so much damage done during the last mission he added his touch to repairing arms and armor, other times he might be found trying to mold something new only to constantly break it down and reforge whatever it might of been. Visitors or guest wouldn't be turned away if they came seeking him, or called for him as he kept a comms-bead handy in case something happened, yet he wouldn't be seeking anyone out for a time either. So it was when Angelous requested his assistance Feron would at last break away from the sweltering heat to make the trip. "On my way Brother Angelous. "
Volorox Kept moving throughout the ship. He had eaten when only his body demanded it and now wore robes while his armor was being repaired. He was doing something odd he had remembered hearing from a old friend a black templar a way of punishment probably either on another mission or was hunting him. He had begun moving about the ship deep in thought rarely conversing with people. He felt Hollow he knew even if they succeeded he would likely not know the fate of his chapter even if he did It would likely he would be shunned and never be able to return. The best course of outcome would likely Be if they succeeded in stopping the Unholy alliance and exposing the truth. Though even then his chapter would still not trust him if he lived. He needed to train and become stronger his arm was getting better from the mission before and needed to expand his combat skills. He remembered before he was going to likely ask tempatus about his past. He could start there and ask him about his team and lightbringer. he thought. "Hmph" he said and then began looking for there dreadnought.
