    <Briefing>

    "Well, we still got that freighter I mentioned earlier. It's kinda clunky but it'll get the job done by transporting you faster than anything I have on this ship at the moment," Marmaroth answered to the Librarian. "So you two will go with that. I give this task fully into your hands and trust you completely. Do whatever you must to hide our presence and search for any clues on where we might find this Wade ganger, or if there are any traces of the Cult of the Morning Star amongst the upper hive's residents."

    "As for hiding the markings, I have prepared a set of simple black shoulder pads in armory, devoid of any markings. I was able to procure something else, but I would never wish to bring dishonor to other Chapter we might pass as, nor do I wish to offend your armor's machine spirits any further than needed. Once the briefing is over, you will go to armory to get that gear and arm yourself in the process."

    "Tempestus and...few others will be kept behind in case you need swift assistance, but don't count on us helping you immediately, since we have to investigate that mining station in orbit of the fifth planet."

    "Alright, if everything is settled, proceed to armory and hangar afterwards. Remember brothers - this is not a battlefield like the places we visited before. This is a Hive city of Imperial Loyal planet. If the battle occurs, try to keep civilian casualties minimal. We are here to find Steve Wade and interrogate him, not blow up half of the city. Now go and may the Emperor watch over you."

    OOC feel free to proceed to arming yourself, 2 clips of (Kraken, Stalker, Dragonfire, Hellfire) |Feron doesn't count coz of trait| and 3 grenades (frag, krak, stun, blind) are at your disposal.

    OOC: Like you blowed up the entire underground facility in Mission #1, eh? :p

    "Good luck, and... Stay human." The Space Wolf wished the Salamander in private and giving him a clasp on his shoulder plate before marching off to the Armory, grabbing 2 clips of Kraken rounds, 2 frag grenades, 1 krak grenade and his special designated Melta Bomb. Once done, he marched on to the Hangar, still wondering if anyone would actually let him lead or not. Probably he would be just the vanguard, sniffing possible targets out, rather than actual leading the troop.

    - Rocky and Edd
    Edd had never been to a Hivecity that wasn't burning, exploding, or an otherwise active war zone. Needless to say he was excited. Maybe he would see an air-car, eta exotic foods, or kill some gangers. Commissar Cain fought gangers in the videos. Strange how he never seemed to finish them all off. An ever precent menace of the Imperium.
    "Who's the Boss this time Rocky?" Edd asked.
    "Good question Edd. Excuse me Sir, Mamaroth. Yeah, I could have sworn you said we had duel leadership? No offence, but isn't that just asking for trouble? If were gonna be split up into four teams, we mights as well start-out-right right?"
    "If Miss Jean an da Book Salamander Angel are gonna see da Arbites, doesn't dat leave us da underhive? Wot den?"
    "Just say Lysander is calling the shots. I fear for the squads ability to function."
    "Wots dat mean Rocky?"
    "It means bounty hunters ain't leadership material."
    "Oooh. But wes can still catch dat heretic together, right?"
    Rocky sighed. Once again Edd forcused only on the orders and the goal. 'Always the good soldier Edward.'
    "Never mind me, I was temporarily out of line and I retract my previous statements. I do however request that Edd be under Investigator Lysander's direction only. That is all."

    "Walk with Russ, Brother Steinar. As I walk with Vulkan," says Draconion, returning the clasp on the pauldron, deciding to simply reassure the young Space Wolf instead of give vent to his annoyance at just about everyone's misinterpretation of his admittedly-harsh native culture.

    Turning to Marmaroth, he addresses the Commander in private on the side, motioning for Jean to join him.

    "Commander - if I may confirm, Sister Jean and myself are going in official Inquisitorial capacity, are we not? Because if we are meant to hide our allegiances, I honestly cannot think a way to spin an Astartes and a Battle Sister showing up together that does not scream 'Inquisition'. That is, unless we go totally incognito and out of armour. And even then, we will need some kind of official cover to even get an audience, let alone request information."

    <At the Armoury (to save time) >

    At the Armoury, Draconion helps himself to two clips of Kraken rounds for his pistol and three frag grenades, reflecting on the paucity of hardware made available to the team and thankful for his own gifts to level the field.

    Amraphel quickly made his way to the armory. He thought about which kind of grenades he should take;
    If they were to be fighting underhive scum, he probably wouldn't ecounter a lot of armoured targets. There would most likely be lots of close quarters fighting aggainst infantry. Because of this amraphel decided to take 2 frag grenades and 1 stun grenade. After this was done Amraphel made his way to the Angelfalls hangar. Amraphel resolved that he didn't really care how many civilians would die. If a million men would die so they could get to their target; so be it, because if they didn't get to their target many more millions could die in the long run. The missions sucess was not to be endangered by weak minded peoples lack of vision.

    <Feron>
    Stepping up in time with Draconion he looked over to the Librarian. "Something seems to have everyone's scales rattled between the lot of you, care to elaborate if I missed something? " His hearing had picked up on the eating of xenos brain but that he couldn't care much less on having done it himself numerous times over the years. Perusing the Armory alongside Draconion he ordered about several servo skulls arming himself with a clip of Dragonfire, Clip of Metal Storm, Clip of Kraken and finally a clip of Witch Bolts before opting at last for Two Stuns and a Krak for his grenade load out.

    Draconion nods in greeting, genuinely glad to see the older Salamander.

    "Hello, Uncle. A massive waste of time, I fear. ..but let me put it this way.

    If you used your Emperor-given gifts to gain battlefield intelligence, with the sanction and praise of your commander, and another man condemned you for it as a corrupt traitor, threatened to kill you for it - in spite of all your attempts at conciliation - and then proceeded to do the very thing he castigated you for, what would you do?"

    He pauses a moment to load special rounds into his clips and tuck them into his webbing pouches.

    "Now, assuming you called him out what he did and he refused to meet you with steel, heaping instead further scorn and condescension on you, what would you do?"

    Draconion takes another pause to load more clips with standard rounds and stow them away also.

    "And then, assuming you finally managed to shame him into meeting you in combat, he then proceeded to meet you in full battle armour, with bolt gun and chainsword, against nothing more than graveclothes and a stick on your part. Imagine then, after further abuse and taking a shot at you, he retracted his consent to fight, dishonouring you further by giving yet more scorn and abuse in place of due apology, what, then, would you do?"

    Draconion shoves his bolt pistol into his holster with rather more force than necessary and turns to give Feron a weary look.

    <Feron to Draconion>
    "I'd say it wasn't much a battle worth fighting to begin with after the fact, but from the get go it certainly sounds like it deserved a challenge. Bother getting to know your foe much though? If they would actually rise to the bait or not? if they cared for their own honor? By the looks of things you've only heaped more scorn upon yourself, and i see plenty of other faces doing the same when we really can't afford that sort of damage to an already cohesion challenged unit. " Feron frowned at the other Nocturnean with something of both disappointment though the vaguely distant look in his eyes hinted it may not all be directed at Draconion. "I know that warrior spirit within you won't ever die and that is more than a good thing, but don't forget that sometimes a bit of posturing is necessary to ensure we can all operate smoothly. Remember our last conversation on pride and what we must and must not use it to achieve. "

  9. as Dorallius went to the armoury, he only picked the usual number of grenades, and some fuel cannisters for his flamer, before making his way towards the hanger.
    This had been an interesting intermission time, and a sure lot had happened, though with some team members, he could feel the animosity towards eachother.

    Draconion sighs and bows his head.

    "Aye, I was rash in believing such a churl would care about his own honour, and sullied mine in the process. I place too much stock in Astartes honour, or the honour of men in general. You know us Skarokki - honour duels are the rule of tue day. My grandfather was flag-captain of the Tahken-no-kami, and swordmaster to his house. If one of his warriors had behaved thus, he would have immediately ordered his opponent to cut him down like a dog, denying him even the belly-cut to salvage his honour. I am ill-suited to an environment where the bandying of empty, barbed words and cowardly gestures are seen as virtues."
