<Feron> "I assume we'll all be receiving disguises of some sort to cover any Inquisitorial heraldry if it hasn't just been removed? I imagine the sight of a Sister of Battle or Astartes with a giant silver I on their pauldron would be a bit obvious, not like we can really hide our size down there beyond trying to pass as mutants but we might just appear some foreign obscure chapter with a thing for black and personal symbols rather than any unified mark. " A small shrug followed, frankly while Space Marines were known on every planet of the Imperium the specifics weren't quite so clear with a great many only having myths or legends, Orks in full body armor could show up claiming themselves Astartes and there was little doubt that at least a few worlds out there would fall for it if they were far off enough from the most active theaters of major operation.
<Steinar Greywold> "I would be more then glad to lead the others with the superior senses of a Space Wolf toward our foes. Nothing shall hide, not even in the barred wastelands." The Wolf grinned wide, getting now quite excited, especially due to the fact that it was going to be a hunt.
<Briefing> Volorox listened and went through out the briefing taking in what the mission was and what they had to do as the matter of infiltration came up for them and the astartes he began to wonder what they would do to there markings and heraldry as he heard feron speak he decided to add to the conversation "If the humans are going on a infiltration mission Might I ask if we have any medical personal that could possibly cover any Marking or brands we have on them marking them to the Inquisition or possibly to there original Stations? and if any of our astarte brothers are going down to the service we may need to remove parts of our armor that give of our heraldry and possibly any markings to our chapter or possibly not going with our armor or possibly making our armor look similar to our black shields by removing the identity to there original chapter and possibly removing the identity of the inqusition." he said a slight pain in his voice removing things on his old and scared armor would likely offend the machine spirit of the armor and possibly there tech marine but for the mission it may be needed and the markings that they had earned from there history would most likely either be lost or re branded and remarked on after the mission. <Before the Briefing @Uriel1339> Draconion motions to Steinar to follow him, then replies in a low tone, audible only between the two of them. "Several things, all at the battle of the bridge. The last straw was him calling me corrupt and traitor, and then threatening me with execution in the face of the enemy, claiming he had power of command, life and death over me. I raised neither hand nor voice to him, and even tried to talk him out of it, but he would have followed through, had Lord Marmaroth not ordered him to stand down. All this because I ate the brain of an Eldar to gain intelligence on the enemy - something that Lord Mamaroth endorsed and commended, I might add. I decided that, since he wanted my life so badly, I would give him the chance to take it." Draconion pauses to shrug laconically, then continues. "Seems he has no stomach for prey that fights back, even with a sizeable handicap. We will pick this up later, Brother. I have lost productivity to make up for in the Librarium - I owe Lord Marmaroth several projects and I intend to make some headway before the next mission." <During Briefing> Draconion's pupils dilate momentarily as Mamaroth names the theatre of their next operation, the words of the Eldar Farseer coming back to him. When you come at last to the Onpuku system, you will see the truth of my words revealed. He listens in silence, breaking it once to raise a hand to pat Steinar placatingly on the pauldron as Amraphel needles him. "Teach the fool a lesson in the cages later, Brother. You'll have to get in line behind me, though - I owe him a few lumps myself," he says in a low murmur, favouring the Fenrisian with a slight nod and a brief, conspiratorial smile. As everyone falls into an expectant silence, he addresses the room. "A few suggestions, Commander. Firstly, as the Venerable Brother suggested, it would be good to keep him in strategic reserve for deployment via drop pod or teleportation, alongside whatever combat assets we may have available. I mention the latter only because I have heard rumours about the forge of some new weapon that has been made ready for deployment. The details elude me, but it sounds ideal to be deployed alongside the Ancient One. On a related note, it would be useful to have some form of rapid redeployment strategy available to Sister Jean and myself, as the other teams are more likely to see combat then we are, and reinforcements may be needed in more than one place simultaneously. Teleport homers or on-station air support would be ideal. If either are unavailable, jump packs or perhaps a Land Speeder would suffice. Lastly, I suggest we also pay a visit to the Arbites precinct. In an official capacity, we would be in a position to demand information release. If Investigator Lysander could let us know what to look for, we may further expedite the search."
"trust me brother there are a lot of curoupt individuals in the imperium, with what marmorath has spoken about i doubt the local arbirites are not under the control of the gang, otherwise they would be all dead" as he spoke he then looked at marmorath "i will be in the librarium focusing on the project we talked about earlier my dear brother chaplin" with that he went to stride away "if anyone needs my assistance vox me directly"
OOC: for tag to work you must leave 1 space after the last letter/number of a username <Steinar Greywold - Before Briefing> "You ate an Alien Brain for a bit information?! What is wrong with you Draconion?! Yes we have means to learn that way, but truly, that is quite... How can you say it like it doesn't even matter? Also if honor you looked for, you lost it all when you beat him like some sort of training puppet. He didn't even had the will to fight, he wanted you to kill him, in fact he attempted to take his own because you didn't finish what you had begun.... Beware the thoughts that are not yours, Brother. Because I do not want to take you down, should the Eldar have more influence than you think on you. They are treacherous and full of tricks, worse than the Sorcerers of Prospero." Steinar put a hand on the shoulder of Draconion, looking him seriously in the eyes. "I understand that your honor was hurt, I would have reacted no different. But to beat up a brother who doesn't desire combat... Perhaps something else inside you wanted him dead and your true side stopped yourself from doing so." The Space Wolf was hopeful that Draconion still was himself. <Steinar Greywold - During Briefing> "I already fought him right before the attack of the Eldar, he is too good of a Swordsman for me to defeat him, he has much more combat experience than I have. Therefor I will not fight him again, not until I have improved." Steinar said with a smile.
"I doubt not, Venerable One. Yet, our very presence may force them to tip their hand. Better we spring the trap on our own initiative than theirs."
Briefing @Draconian "If we begin to set up teleport homers or use ships that bear the mark of the Inquisition our human allys cover may be blown. If we have some ships that do have no markings similar to our bounty hunters ship we may be able to use them for rapid deployment. It would seem quite suspicious that sightings of Astarte and there equipment Just so happens to appear the day that someone begins looking for our gang lord." Volorox added. as he looked at Draconian his rage was buried deep least he wouldn't be on the same team as him.
