<Steinar Greywold!> Interrupted from the side, the instinct from before reached it's peak. Quickly confirmed by a glance of the lack of chapter origin. A Blackshield. But the white robes? Perhaps he was some sort of Veteran. Or worse, he was a Dark Angel. The Plasma Pistol would indicate towards that, given they love their plasma equipment. The Power Sword, Steinar looked a bit more detailed at trying to figure details out, perhaps an inscription or name. "You call me Berserker, yet it is you who walks with boiling blood against a child of Fenris. You should know better than to call us, the Executioners of the Allfather, 'crazy Bersekers'. But if that is what you wish to see....." Steinar drew both Chainswords and revved them. "Then perhaps I shall give you what you desire?" Steinar broke into a sprint towards the newcomer, holding the right Chainsword high and the left low, ready to block with one and strike with the other.
<Canteen> Storm Lord waved away with his hand when he heard Steinar's words. "Cougar runs freely, but water flows freely as well. It is the source of life for all creatures in savanna, big and small." But once the newcomer entered the place, Storm Lord's brow frowned a bit. "Hyena often growls at the wind, trying to disturb the water. But it fails, for it lacks the strength in numbers. Still, its power in the pack is often questioned."
<Draconion's inquiry> Cogitator returned the needed information almost instantly. There were couple of folders in it, describing man's earliest service in the Deathwatch. It spoke about his missions, listing the deeds he and his brothers preformed during his leadership of the Kill Team Lightbringer. Every entry until two last two were written by an Inquisitor named Krauz, who met his death at the hands of Arch Traitor Ahriman. Chaplain was also presumed dead by disappearing through a Warp portal but he eventually returned, changed in a way, and he avenged his old master by slaying the Thousand Sons Sorcerer. The records of his further missions speak of his quick rise in ranks of the Deathwatch, from being a Kill Marine and helping stop the Tau invasion at the beginning of the millennium to becoming a Watch Captain and leading his own force across Segmentum Obscurus, fighting both alien and Chaos threat of something named Unholy Alliance. It also showed the more detail about some of the missions - where they happened, names of the lost brothers and so on. On the other hand, there wasn't much information about his life in his old Chapter, saying only his time there was spent exemplary. ------------ During his "voyage" into the void, he didn't hear the Emperor nor his Primarch. In fact, the universe was silent to him until eventually he heard a voice in his head. Actually, it was coming from his vox-bead. "Brother Draconion, come to my quarters. I have something I wish to speak with you," the voice of the Flesh Tearer was all too familiar.
Ampraphel had anticipated this reaction, he had witnessed many raging fenrisians and so was prepared for Steinars charge. "Primitive", he said. He planned to sidestep and let the savage run past him, then he would turn with inhuman Speed and agility and deliver a powerfull kick into the space wolves back. If the space wulf still wanted to fight after this, he would use his sword and show the Berserker some real technique, maybe the Berserker would even learn something from this, which would make him more usefull in the next Mission. <Team#2> And they were off. While they moved through the endless graves, nothing but rain disturbed them. This time, there were no dead rising to greet them, so their trek was perhaps somewhat dull. Eventually, they reached the place where the signal's location was directly under their feet, although 804 meters below to be precise. The entrance into the underground was also nearby. A simple gate with two statues of hooded figures standing at each side of the entrance to a mausoleum that would hopefully lead them where they wanted to be. There was room for Tempestus to enter as well, but he would be hard pressed to turn around if the need occurs.
<Steinar 'Fighting' Greywold> OOC: Counter-Rolled 48, yaaay..... (Also at this point I suggest we do for combat like 1st roll that reacts to enemies action and then at end of post that is the own attack so that we really have 2 phases for PvP) Sure it was a strong kick, sure it was a quick sidestep, but certainly it was just the start of more to come. The Space Wolf did not even make it to the floor and swiftly turned around, smirking. "At least you are not afraid of combat I see!" The man said enthusiastic, obviously not afraid of the puny Astartes - compared to him anyway. The roughly 2,90 meter tall Astartes fully clad in his armor, save for helmet as it was usual for the children of Fenris, he made for another assault. Swinging both Chainswords at the same time horizontally like a crabs pincer. OOC: Attack-Roll 66 (at least better than before!)
"Hmmm Quiet odd." Volorox say's as he looks to one of the two figured statues the rain running down the statue as his helmet light came on lighting the statue he looked for a inscription to read. "I wonder what powerful thing must be transmitting that signal to reach all the way up into space while still being underground. Salamander Feron Do you think if we find the source and its origins are mechanical you can try to see what it is?" Volorox asked as he looked at the statues.
<Feron> "Only one way we'll find out Volorox. Ancient hold the pass up here, wouldn't want you getting stuck and blocking the path, or cutting off our retreat if we find something beyond us down there. If we absolutely need your support or find that the path widens further down we'll call you in. Volorox you've still got point, scatter formation and keep ten paces from each other minimum, be on guard for any traps. Could find a nest of explosives or heavy guns in one of the chambers. Hitting the fire selector on his bolter Feron taps it over to standard rounds, the weapon currently loaded up with Vengeance, Dragonfire and a standard clip leaving him plenty in reserve.
"Loud and clear squard leader," Dorallius answered as he fell into the new formation, his bolter set to single fire, with standard bolts, no reason to have the vengence rounds in just yet, if this indeed was some sort of cult work, then they would be tried drowened in meatshields first, that was one thing very predicteble about chaos, its abselute lack of care for its followers.
Occ: Def Roll 43 Amraphel did not expect steinars next move. Maybe the space wolf did have a bit of technique after all. Steinars Attack hit him with brute strenght, amraphel staggered backwards, barely able to prevent himself from falling over. However he know went for a quick counterattack. He performed 3 360 degree, turns, each getting im closer to steinar. While doing this he ducked and got up a few times. He swung his sword in circles moving like a tornado. Suddenly he was near steinar. His back faced the space wolf and with the utmost precision and speed he trief to stab backwards at the space wolf. OOC: Attack roll 91 YEEES!!!
