<Feron> "Would believe so Angelous, don't think you and I've formerly met yet. " Stowing away the pistol as he would any weapon he extended a hand forward, curious about the one whom Jannika had described so...colorfully. "She entrusted it to me for a few test firings and some maintenance, was curious to try such a weapon myself so I couldn't resist the chance. " Lieing, not something he did often but he had a sincere smile and an even enough tone, not to mention some was truth he most certainly would be giving it a test fire or two.
<Angelous> "Thought she would have been convinced by my presentation." Angelous said somewhat annoyed and shook the hand. "Also I would have not thought a Salamander to be interested in Melta weaponry, are you not far more fascinated by flamers? But I suppose we all are... Special cases." Angelous grinned from within his helmet on the emphasis, but as Blood Raven and Deathwatch Astartes he had enough experience with lies to not trust Feron completely. But he would find out earlier or later anyway.
<Feron> That caused a brow to lift. "Heat weaponry and sturdy melee weapons tend to be our tactical specialty when it comes to weapons Brother. It's kinda a developed taste from home. " Smiling in return he hadn't bothered fitting his helmet yet, letting it remain mag-locked to his armor which was on a rolling lift behind him. "I take it she is always like that? "
<Angelous> "Like what? One without respect and immature? Yes. But she is without doubt one of the best captains I have ever seen. Has quite a struggle with Sirius due to both their heritage, plus I heard before I came they had always argued about void tactics until Marmaroth put an end to it... Or something like that. Either way. Jannikas Pistol may be common for the regular eye.... But it has certain unique modifications. You better be careful or you may bring the revenge of the Ox-man upon yourself." The Techmarine chuckled.
<Feron> Oh dear what had he gotten into now? "Suppose I'll find an isolated firing cage then when it comes time to fire it, make sure I don't take out half the ship or anyone nearby. " Drawing forth the weapon he held it in his palms carefully. "Care to tell me what you know of it? You've peaked my interest now. "
<Angelous> "I have learned quite quick that information is a currency. Tell me something I don't know and something that is actual of good use here or in my future, and I may tell you more." Angelous said, behaving like a typical Blood Raven. Knowledge is Power, and he would guard his own quite well.
<Feron> "Just as I've learned few are those who can be the -sole- keeper of certain pieces of knowledge. I can go elsewhere, perhaps become another holder. " Feron conceded with a bow of his head, a slight grin as well feeling clever enough of himself. Could always try to threaten but he had also learned that so rarely got anyone anywhere worth staying for long. Could carry a line forward or send men to their deaths but it didn't hold in the long run, one can keep someone crushed beneath a boot of fear for a thousand years, but at some point they break in one fashion or another.
"Whereas they would lie, where I would tell truth. But I also see that you are not stupid. One valuable information for the price of another? I tell you something you want to know, and you tell me something I don't know AND is valuable." Angelous replied. "Though also Feron. Do not forget who runs the Armoury." He followed up in a much darker voice.
<Feron> Alright that's how this would be played. "Don't forget who can speak to Hera either, I seem to be in good graces with her for now. Not to mention withholding the Armory from your Brothers might appear a touch suspicious considering we had two traitors in the team last mission Brother. " His second bit wasn't so much threatening as informing, chastising even as he turned a brief frown to the man before taking his armor wrack. "Be well Brother Angelous, if I learn anything you might appreciate I'll consider sharing it with you regardless. " Best leave on a promising note to help salve the threat some, he didn't like making it but wouldn't stand by while they were made toward him either.
<Angelous> "It would rather make you suspicious handling the weapon of a Chapter Master, especially if something... Might happen to it. Be careful with the things you hold. It could... Backfire." And with that the Techmarine made back to his workshop.
