This isn't a nerf or buff anything thread it's mainly issues that me and a friend have found with the debuff system. I throttled my internet down so I was lagging *capped at 200 kbps* so I was for the most part rubber banding and pausing. When I would swing at my friend with the burny choppa it would show me hitting on my screen even though I was actually clanging on his screen. The direct damage was not going through to him but he was getting stacks of burning which should not be happening. The ranged weapons seem to be suffering the same issue if the person firing is lagging and actually missing the direct damage would be ignored due to them missing their target but it's applying the burning/poison *it does it with both abbadons and sicky slugga didn't try stream of corruption though anyone who tests that or flickering fire please post results to let me know if it's the same for them* The other thing is the application of burning seems to be different for each attack type. Fast applies a little while heavy applies around 2x that and if the weapon is usable by jump assaults/stormboys the ground slam attack is 5x application. This is probably a bug and would need some more wider ranges of testing. TL;DR The application of ailments seems to be tied to latency of the person using them and application amount seems to be different for fast , strong and slam attack which may be a bug. Anyway anyone who tries these out let me know if you got different results.
Tag some devs and see if you can go on discord and talk to them directly. It would be a great help to them if they don't know this and you guys figured it out for them. Hell I'll even shake your hand right now cus this is one of the few threads I find that are actually trying to help! TY
