The Power Of Waagha

    I'd suggest these abilities, can't be arsed to give them proper names:
    • Passive waaagh: 0,5% increase in overall damage, speed, health (?), firerate for every 5 orks in a 100 meter radius, stackable up to 50%
    • Passive waaagh: 0,5 increase in overall damage for every 10 enemies in a 100 meter radius, stackable up to 25%
    • Active waaagh: 10% increase in physical damage, speed, health (?) for every ork in a 50 meter radius, buff lasts for 15 seconds and can only be used by a P2P Nob after a certain rank/level. Stacks 0,2% for every similar buff added
    • Active waaagh: 10% increase in ranged damage, firerate for ever ork in a 50 meter radius, buff lasts for 15 seconds and can only be used by a P2P Nob after a certain rank. Stacks 0,2% for every similar buff added
    • Active waaagh: 15% increase in overall damage, speed, health (?), firerate for every ork in a 150 meter radius for 30 seconds and can only be used by a P2P Nob/Boss after a certain high rank/level. Does not stack, very long cooldown

    If Orks get Waagh all Races need something good like it Space marines have their own banners and things to motivate. Chaos has marks, but what would an Eldar get ? Webways FTW

  6. As long as their is a cap to make sure it still says within lore and balance. Having huge numbers of decent fighters is the orks main advantage. If there is a huge WAAAGH! they should get bonuses but no orks, not even most nobz, should ever be able to steamroll a veteran astartes let alone a few hundred orks being able to do so.

  7. While the specifics of this should apply to orks alone, no different than SMs simply being stronger and having better equipment, other factions need to also have their key characteristic. Eldar need to be insanely mobile, their vehicles/ships , mass mobility via webway or otherwise, as well as the the soldiers/personal platforms and perhaps even bases. Stealth would also be nice. The SMs sound like they will be SMs but if anyone can think of something please post it here or make a separate thread for them. Maybe clutch abilites when they are near death, or should already have died, and doing last stand defenses or extrememly high risk high reward actions like dropping or porting directly to the heart of a Waaagh and Warboss' retinue. Think near miracles that would likely end up with them still dead but having held out against huge odds for a noticable amount of time or successfully decapitating leadership, and for orks removing command and control plus buffs.

    But if all races got AoE buffs then that would defeat the whole point, wouldn't it?

    Weak armour of most of the orks was enough balance for other races. It will be silly when ork have lower HP than a Eldar for example.
