"A geniuses brain you have and yet the obvious answer still escapes you?" he paused for a moment and leaned forward toward the 'overseer'. "Fine I'll tell you."

"We leave. The Vault." he leaned back again after giving his ultimatum. Crossing his arms as usual.

"These fine fellows here made themselves an entrance. And now. That'll be our exit."

"As much as I hate to say it, I think Mr.Tony is right. We don't know how many have gotten in and how many of us are even left. Going to the armory to get supplies and doing a search of the vault for any residence left would be the best thing we could do before finding the way these fiends got in and eliminating them before making the final decision to leave home." John said coming up and looking to the others. "Over eer would there be any way to contact the rest of the residents in the vault before making our final decision when we reach that point?" John asked looking to the overseer.

"Wait a minute... leave? Are you serious? Our entire life is here! And out there... what if we can't live there? Who knows how it looks like!" Agnes crossed her arms, glaring sternly at her father and the Overseer. "I don't want to be part of an exodus into a world where the earth is... radioactive lava or something!"
  6. @GobMaw_HellSmasha | "Leave the Vault old man? You crazy?"
David stepped away from the Raider's corpse, with any loot he'd acquired, and moved towards Old Larux, trying to hide how scared he was becoming. Invasions from the outside weren't things that happened everyday after all.
  7. Getting flicked with blood is rarely pleasant and Caroline doesn't exactly appreciate the gesture. Tony's words are more affecting though. Was her impression so easy to read? Caroline stares after Tony as he passes her. He has become more hostile lately, caring only about his girl these days. But Caroline can't judge him. They both are facing turning point, a milestone set by Vault's rules. She doubts she herself wants to just lay down and die when the time comes. And before that she needs to bring forth a child. Those are the rules and every resident of Vault 41 needs to obey them. But sometimes on night shift Caroline wonders does it make them just?

"Even if we enter the world outside, it doesn't mean we need to completely abandon the Vault, does it?" Caroline joins the conversation. She doesn't know what awaits outside, but there can't be anything much better than the Vault, even with its faults. Bombs destroyed everything back on the War, didn't they?

By this point Jimothy had grasped to the single line of straight forward thought that ran through the group and picked up the tire iron. Weighing it against his monkey wrench he knew which was heavier and at least more comforting to have in hand but a back up club probably wouldn't hurt if they weren't going to be trusting him with a gun. Standing up young man began to march off toward the Armory.

"Lets just go with the Armory for now, least we know we all want to do that. "

"When you make the kill then I'll search through them, until that day that comes and let's pray it never does." Oliver walked off laughing until Tony spoke to him.

"They found a way into this locked up Pre-War Vault so they can't be that stupid, might even put us to shame at times. Perhaps someone with brains in leading them, so I think we need to smash their brains and then we'll be safer. If you say these guys were too idiotic to get into the Armoury then how in the hell did they get into the Vault."

Oliver spat as he carried paced back and forth trying to get the taste of the air out of his mouth and just listened to the others for a time with their nattering.

Oliver heard the words from Tony, needless to say he disliked them.

"We can't leave the Vault! Who knows how many more of these psychos there are outside! At least in the Vault we know where they could come from and we'd be able to fortify them. Even then where would we go! We have a few maps on the area from two hundredish years ago but no idea of what it is like out there! For all we know it is just one big crater! The fact these Humans exist defies all logic we need to stay put in the safety of the Vault!"

Oliver spoke with an urgent anger upon his face as leaving the Vault was in his mind suicide, the radiation alone would kill them not to mention the possibility of more of these Psychos.

"You might only a have a year in here at most but the rest of us have many more years to live! If you want to go on a suicide run then go for it but I'm staying put and defending my home!"

Oliver instantly realised the words he'd said were harsher than he'd wanted them to be but couldn't bring himself to apologise because he felt that was Tony's reasons for wanting to leave as he wasn't doing living and the Vault would soon put an end to his life anyway.

"Finally a voice of reason, let's just go to the Armory and the Overseer's Office and assess the situation before we doing something incredibly stupid like leaving the safety of the Vault for the hostile 'wasteland' that remains outside as I doubt good Ol' America has been rebuilt while we've been kept away underground."

Oliver began walking towards the corridor as if to say it was the end of the discussion.
  10. " You know what Guys, you're right. Old Man Larux has gone crazy."he said pacing back and forth through tthe group getting really close to the others talking to him at times, "Let's just hold up in here. And just HOPE someone doesn't come across us again. Let's just wait till our armory runs dry. We have no ammo. All of our weapons break. And we run out of supplies we'll surely survive then right?"

He stopped at Ollie, looked at him for a moment, and then wiped his wrench off on Ollie's suit. Then he continued on without skipping a beat.

"I have one month till I'm 40. Then I'm dead. And if you all stay in here, and try to holdout against the world. You'll all join me real soon. Stay in here, and you guarantee that you die. May not be today, may not be tomorrow but you will die. Sooner then later. Out there, we have a CHANCE to live."

He went and sat down at a table, propping his legs up on it.

"But you know me. I'm crazy. I have ideas of survival and living. Crazy old me. Right?"

He put his legs back down and leaned forward on the table, glaring at Oliver.

"How about this," he said his face and mood getting serious, "go tell little Jimmy over there that the Vault is safe. Tell him. Tell him. The Vault. Is SAFE. Look right at him and tell him, THE VAULT IS SAFE. Tell him that, and I'll drop the whole leaving the Vault thing. I'll stay here and die. But I want you to tell poor Jimmy over there, the kid who barely had a chance to live, that the Vault kept him Safe."

He rested an elbow on his table and brought a hand to the side of his face.

"The only reason I'm telling you this. The only reason I even care is because of my little girl. I never want to see her as I see little Jimmy right now. I don't want to see the day that I outlive my own daughter. I want what's best for her. If this Vault is so safe...go tell Jimmy that. Because I'd be damned if I see her like that ever. I'll ensure that day never comes. She's my Aggy, she's all I have left in this miserable existence. I want to see her make it through alright."
