Darwin Beagles was beyond beside himself in happiness. Not only had his experiments not been disturbed and he didn't need to go scrounging in the wreckage. The emergency supplies came in a duffle bag, leaving room for his vault tech approved my first Chemestry set. Everything the aspiring chem doctor needed to get started. The experiments were of mixed results. In the blue containers, the mole rat was dead and so was a new born Mirelurk hatchling. The mole rat seemed to have suffered from Myocardial infarction, or heart attack. 'Curious, at least I know a full injection is toxic. Excellent news!' He thought. What was originally an unhatched egg, the now dead hatchling was belly up on the marked end of its seperate container. Not dead from the chemical spray, but from starvation. 'Excellent! The hormone marked side did attract the Mirlurke. Must be the sent for signaling food or simply a familiar sent? Will need to try again, maybe with larger specimens perhapse? Hmmmm... Did someone say my name?' Turning to look at Ms. Lee, Darwin gaver her his expert opinion. "Please Ruby Lee, Darwin will do. We've known each other long enough for such formaility. As colleagues and the now senior medical experts, we better get used to greater responsibilities and challenges. Being prepared for the worst is essential, but weighting ourselves down isn't ideal. I suggest we carry the important and extra supplies between us, but distribute minor aids to the other survivors. Would give them some responsibility for their own well being, and enable them to help others who are lacking such supplies. The wheelchairs however... Hmm, I think would be little help out in the wastes. Let's hope we don't have any broken legs an easy splint won't fix." While Beagles tended to keep others at an arms length, Lee was caring and genuinely though of the well fair of others. Probably why the previous vault Doctor preferred her over him when it came to treating injuries. Darwin was more of a researcher than a physician, but that didn't mean he didn't want to help people. The Mirelurk repellent would have helped everyone, not just the individual. But it was easy to lose track of those individuals when always focused on the bigger picture. 'I'll have to work on that... The attractant is still too dangerous untreated.' OOC: looted emergency medical supplies, 3x samples of mirelurk phermones, and 1x chemestry set.
"This is just a way to carry things for now," Ruby explained, "and as for leaving the Vault, well, we don't want to make that decision unless we have to. If we do - well, then everyone will carry their share, I'm sure. I want to see if we can take any of the service cars with us ... if we do leave ..." She looked a bit uncertain, then smiled up at the doctor. "You are right, of course; I shouldn't be so formal. I'm sure we will both do our best to pass on our skills, Darwin." She beamed more happily now - after all, she wasn't aware of whatever he'd been up to in his spare time - but even just the beginning of a plan was making her feel more grounded. Less all at sea. They could do this. After all, they were determined, survivors just like their ancestors so long ago. Took stuff as mentioned before, deffo taking chair for now pending better way to carry stuff.

" Jace do you think you and your new companion can make it to the intercom together to try to bring us all together?" John asked looking to Jace.
Jace looked down at his fuzzy new companion with a smile, "I think we could manage that." He said confidently, if there were any other Raiders they'd have their throats torn out before they could say... Well, whatever unintelligible things they said. \ "Course it's really up to him if he wants to come or not. What do you think boy, huh? Wanna go for a walk!?" He said, hoping to peek the dogs interest. Overseer knows he wouldn't be able to force him to go with him. He wasn't gonna become like that jerky. (@Colapse )

"Do you... do you think he used to be a pet or something? Like, uh, a puppy that grew too big and was flushed down the toilet?" Now to her, dog didn't look ugly - he was a bit bloody, but the cook couldn't tell whether it was his or foreign - but instead had a bit of a tramp-ish charm to him, unlike, say, mirelurks, or molerats, but some people were just cruel. At least she presumed he was a he; she wasn't keen on checking. "D'you think he listens to orders, like the dogs from the books? Sit? Stay? Play dead?"
"Oh, no problem. Bout time I did something to fix this mess." He said to Agnes, happy to be appreciated. He scratched his chin while thinking about what she was saying about the pup, "I'm not sure this guy could fit through any toilet, but he does seem somewhat... Domesticated? Asides from the tearing people's throat at part..." He said, chuckling at the morbid statement. "As for the orders, I'm not sure. Seems to me he just kinda does his own thing. He followed me on his own. Isn't that right buddy? Yeah!" He said once again in a baby voice as he scratched its ears. (@Colapse )
as selina sat at the terminal in the radio room she started to work on it to see when it was last acsessed and if she could find out who used it last, as she did so she proceded to shut down the broadcast that had been turned on, noticing the man stood out the door but not recognising as she was busy who it was she held her pistol ready under the desk "whos there" as she spoke she continiued to try and hack into the terminal. (ooc im not sure there is anything more i could add)
@lord-watchman Outside the door was an incredibly peeved Tony Larux. A small trail of blood can be seen coming from the stab wound he recently suffered. He held his wrench in his hands. Ready to use it on something. His original short sighted plan consisted on smashing the radio station into useless scrap metal and busted machinery. What he didn't count on in his rage driven plan was too see anyone else there. And as his luck would have it, it was the brat genius that they called an overseer that was in the room before him. Tony had enough of his senses not to immediately start bashing her skull in. Afterall, they needed as many of their people alive as they can if they really needed to leave the Vault. So instead he trudged into the radio station room. Wrench in hand. "What the hell are you doing here?" he asked not nearly as angrily as he could have. He wanted to save his aggression for the machinery in front of him. Not necessarily the Overseer at this moment.
Barking in affirmative tone, Bully licked Agnes's hand as it came near, intent on showing affection. After all, these manlings turned out to be quite nice so far, so there was no reason to be nasty with them, especially when most of them smelled quite...different then the rest of the critters he came across out in the wasteland.

"Say, Mr. Northwind, I think he's growing attached. What a happy fella. I think, if we have the time, I might have to give him a treat once you're back." Gingerly, she moved her free hand to pet the beast's head.
