I've got to lower it to be able to hit him at some point. It's timing it right between his heavy attacks.
Yeah im going to be the first to admit that i spam heavy attacks as pain boys since it inflicts massive poison dosage and then i roll back and fill them with sikky slugga rounds. Its pretty effective. Also im liking the whole poison dok set ive been running since people always forget that using a heal pack cures poison, to be especially trollish i throw down a sikky bomb when i know im about to die in melee and ive actually gotten quite a few assists and post mortem kills, even got one while the guy was trying to execute me in the poison cloud
wait, do stronger attacks create more poison damage? I thought it was the same amount regardless of how strong the landing attack is, although since we can't see poison damage numbers (they don't even work on tyranids in garrison) I can't tell. I usually spam light attacks and can usually kill someone in 3 hits, or go for a headbutt if we clang. how good is the sikky slugga btw? I love the idea of a poison weapon but if the damage is low then it might be more effective to just use a regular slugga in order to have all the damage up front. ugh, I need to get a friend to come on and let me test all my attacks on him. sucks not having hard numbers.
This has been an issue for me aswell, obviously i use dok bombs still but getting xp for it will make it alot better. Doks dont do it for free.
Painboiz are fine. Injections get more effective with the higher Tier Advancment so you can "pre-hot" people. My Issue with them is that Dok Bombs dont give any EXP whatsoever. A Fix would be appreciated. Also Dok Bombs actually beeing destroyable could potentialy mean its a much weaker AOE than others. (To be Fair Dok Bombs are fairly easy to access/use. Allthough the tiny timeframe and amount of heal they give dont make them the Team Carry they were back before launch)
yep, stopped using doc bombs and switched over to stinky bombs, they're pretty good at clearing out a point if the enemy is bunkered down. on the plus side if any orks wander into the poison and are downed than that's some extra exp for me for rezzing them heh.
Is it intented, that the attacks of the painboy don't differ if i attack from behind or not? Tried it at garrison some moments ago.
