Normally, yes. Eldar are slim, Orks are big and bulky. But the differences between SM and CSM are rather slim. Some spiked here and there, a trophy rack perhaps. But from a distance, in the rain (assuming we get dynamic weather), could you say for sure whether that SM over there is loyalist or traitor based solely on his outline?
its too early to answer that ...but both SM and PS2 characters have big green names for friendlys and big red names for enemies so outlines arent needed..(assuming ofc we will have the names in EC)
The devs have said that since they're going for an immersion feel the UI won't feature the big red names. It also allows for tactics and stealth outside of a "boop you're invisible now" mechanic as entire units could, feasibly, maneuver through cover and surprise the enemy.
In the pre-alpha footage names weren't hovering over enemy heads until you'd already caused them some damage. 8:38-8:50 should highlight what I'm talking about, he doesn't even get the big green name over his allies head until he's already shot at him.
