the ork cannon

  1. That's a lot of words for saying it functions like the Plasma Cannon locked to charge mode. I am well aware of why the PC was changed, I often took digs during the end of match trash talk window to say Winners Don't Use Plasma Cannons back when people would hide in the out of bounds areas and mortar shit out of infantry and vehicles alike with them.

Not sure why the history lesson was relevant but I appreciate you taking the time to educate people.

All I can assume is that you thought I meant it was literally one for one with the PC of old and that's on me, what I meant was it's comparable with the old cross map overcharge PC stuff in terms of OHK with no warnings.

Everyone gets the lvl 3 chest piece to buff armor/toughness, and it takes 2 or 3 decent matches to achieve that.
It takes me 2 hits to the head to kill Eldar, unless they're already damaged.

Kannon can OHK every class on every faction whether they have armor/toughness or not.
  3. Let me guess: next time it will be Crozius on Devastator?

  4. Orks don't have grav guns, plasma guns, crozius, servo skull, mini healing grenades, stalker bolter, our healer cannot carry a chainsword... So what?

Can the grav gun, crozius, servo skull, mini healing nades, stalker, or the chainsword OHK from 200m? No.

Plasma cannon can, but the projectile is so slow and easily visible as a big blue orb it's possible to avoid it.

You cannot avoid a kannon shot.

Far from it. The old PC had, as some above lists, a lot of versatility plus almost double the radius. Be aware here that the PC is still better than the Kannon:

    Kannon: OHK, fast projectile
PC: OHK (but on some leaves them in a downed state), charge up faster, can fire two shots in succession without reload, can snapshot for when enemies get close exactly like a plasma deffgun, and is placed on a slightly better character.

Kannon users reload after every shot, and it takes quite a bit of time to do that and charge up. In killing efficiency, PC is very comparable, and for most situations, better. And yet, neither of the PC nor the Kannon is fielded in any real numbers.

Yeah you can. Don't stand out in the open like a 'tard. Power Armour doesn't protect you from everything like it does in badly written Black Library books.
  8. It's called asymmetric balance: not all the faction and weapons are the same. LSM have good things, Orks have others. You don't like being killed by the Kannon? Snipe them with a Stalker Bolter, flank them with a JPA, play Ork yourself or uninstall.

But stop pretending there is something wrong with Orks. Last time your childish cries convinced devs to give Boltgun to a melee class. You want more? I want a Shiny Shoota on my Painboy.

Can you see the shot coming? No. I've gotten popped behind a balcony or railing plenty of times from a kannon shot I couldn't see. I wasn't in the open. Sometimes I'm inside a flag room on the upper level towards the middle of the room, but because a kannon has line of sight to me through a tiny window I get popped, OHK.

    You can't avoid it.

No, there is no balance between an unavoidable and undetectable OHK weapon and a bunch of other stuff that is totally irrelevant to the discussion.
