<Gladius Tiberion> With the Nurglite dead, the Scion turned his attention towards the Inquisitor they were supposed to slay...and he had the Inquisitor by the throat! As a Scion, his life came before the Inquisitor's, and he dropped his bolt pistol, drawing his Sword and lunging at the daemonic Inquisitor, aiming to cut his boss free, and failing that his momentum would carry him forward into the daemonic bastard, but either way his duty would not allow him to stand by while the Inquisitor, who spoke with the authority of the Emperor himself, to die while he stood by and did nothing. "FOR THE EMPEROR!!"
Sicarius, seeing multiple fighters in the center stage, turned his attention to the right flank. The Grey Knight could see one enemy left there, but their own loyalist forces were faltering. Muttering the words of the Liber Daemonica the Grey Knight went to the right flank, flanking the enemy from the rear and came around with a carve of the Nemesis Force Claymore, aiming straight for the shoulder to the hip of the lone enemy left.
As Orions hammer bore down on the former deathwatch marine, striking him in the head, completely obliterating the connection between body and soul as the nurglites life was snuffed and his body crushed into the ground. Then Orion turned around and within the second saw how the battle was unfolding. In their favour, but Haras was in a bad state, but atleast sicarius and the mortals where there to assist him. Then there was the traitor inquisitor just there in center, he brought up his psy-cannon to see if he could get a clear shot, if not he would have to get into melee while watching out for their own inquisitor.
Lorelei shook her head intently. She wouldn't let her brother, her charge, die this easily. This time simply screaming inarticularly, the Crusader slammed her activated Storm Shield forward, hoping to hit the Nurglite and utterly tear apart his body with the resulting concussive force.
OOC: Will post to not let you wait a whole day - I suppose Xaphen can react to this! Center: But she only hit her own brother as in the last moment the Inquisitor threw Konrad against the shield. Like a grenade he bounced off the Power Shield - after it broke his left arm - and left him on the ground and Lorelei dropped backwards on the floor, landing on her bottom. Light Wound - Butt. Against Lorelei Kirsten Marburg. TEAMWORK BONUS - Orion! The Scorpion-Tail that was still attached to the Inquisitor thrust forward to pierce the foolish Scion - but it suddenly detonated and allowed his own blade to connect with the chest of Bernstein, however it did little harm as the Sword was almost absorbed after piercing the flesh. An awkward black goo embracing the blade and pulling it in - along with Gladius would he not let go of his weapon. Orion just managed to blow off the mutated tail-limb with his Psy-Cannon and not just save Gladius, but also allow him to strike at the foe. This all was possible due to Bernstein's own foolishness of throwing his meatshield aka Marburg away. Right Flank: Double Execution! Against Nurgle-Marine - Bolter. While attempting to make a final shot at Haras, the Marine's systems picked up an enemy from behind. He could only turn around before realizing that he was torn apart from both sides at the same time. Now it appeared that only Bernstein was left. Enemy Formation: (Health status incl. damage described above) Center: Nurgle Inquisitor Bernstein - Full Health - (two power short swords & 'scorpion tail'); Mini-Boss Right Flank: 1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Bolter - To Be Executed - Strong Enemy Player Formation: (Health status incl. damage described above) Left Flank: Sicarius - Low Health Xaphen - Medium-High Health Orion - High Health Gladius Tiberion - Low Health Center: Konrad Marburg - Medium Health (broken right arm) Lorelei Kirsten Marburg - High-Medium Health Right Flank: Haras Ilior - Very Low Health - Critical
As the final marine fell, Haras looked at the other knight, and grinned. "Thanks. You deserve some cake" But the mission was not over, and he turned to face the Daemonic Inquisitor. He wouldn't be much in a fight now, but... He focused his mind on the enemy, muttering chants and litanies, focusing them all on the Enemy. [Dark Excommunication]
Sicarius went to the center, repeating his maneuver and strike from behind at the traitor Inquisitor, picking his shots carefully as to avoid blocking the area of attack by the others already engaging Bernstein.
As he had just blown off the mutated tail, and now saw that their inquisitor had been thrown off the traitor, Orion once again grapped his hammer in both hands. "FOR THE EMPEROR" he yelled as he went for the currupting host, aiming too come in with a left swing and send the traitor away from the 2 mortals also in the center, they might bee good, but Orion was a Greyknight
<Gladius Tiberion> He wrenched his hand away from the power sword, it had served him well, and he could retrieve it from the Inquisitor's corpse when he was dead. He rolled to the side, picking up his bolt pistol and firing it at the wound in Bernstein's chest where his sword was lodged.
