Gregor followed directly after Octavir. He went to the different spectrums of his armour to try if he could see what was inside the ruins. Infrared, night vision, radioactive radiation something had to be able to penetrate the darkness. His mouth spoke the words of the seventeenth prayer of alertness as did his senses focussed on the dangers ahead.

OOC: Multiple things happen at once, but the order is from first to last post. Therefore Grall's shooting is coming before anything else. Also in case you haven't noticed yet, my posts are the same way. Whatever is written on top, is first (Just as general note!)

Shooting standing targets was a trivial task for the Grey Knight Orion and it obliterated at his mercy. The menacing head with the piercing red eyes survived and due to the detonation of the body of the creature, catapulted it right into the arms of the man who approached the beast already.

Octavir got an Ork head sent his way from the creature that remained. Just by the skin color alone the individuals could guess this Ork had been dead for quite a while. It was more a grass-green than that typical deep, poison-green.

The two Black Templar turned around and rushed to the side of the Grey Knights and assistance, Bolt Pistol and Chainswords drawn. "Is there a threat?!" Wilmark inquired over his vox-speakers of his helmet.

Hyspasian and Gregor with their visors made nothing out beyond this one individual Ork which appeared to have been prepared to make the group even more nervous than it already had been - terror tactics. This might however raise the question where this Ork came from?

"Creature? What sort of creature? Some details would be appreciated, Orion." The Inquisitor inquired over the same channel of the group. (This is the retinue channel, the Black Templar cannot hear this)

The Crusader and Banisher as soon as they left the vessel, could see Konrad standing next to Actoan, perhaps ten feet distance to one another. He had his hand on the vox-bead, as they could hear the group's conversation anyway.

First, Lorelei had made a loud, startled, and not exactly threatening noise in protest, before she had realised the man was most likely right to flee. Cowardly, yes, but when a Banisher ran, it usually had sound strategical reason. And it took a Schola schooled noble to understand the difference between bravery and strategic sense.

Once she had found her footing again, she sheathed one of her swords to use her vox. "KONRAD!", she screamed into it, the general adrenaline and breathless agitation getting the better of her usual decorum, "ACTOAN IS CONNECTED TO THIS! NO TIME FOR EXPLANATIONS!"

She did not cease running, even if she wanted to. At least this way she would be getting a workout today.

With a deft flick of the wrist Gladius activated the flashlight attached to his lasgun and shined it into the darkness the Ork as hidden in.

"Let's see if there are any more of these bastards."

Konrad squeezed his eyes from the scream into his ear, not having expected that, but he shook it off and ignored the last part of his sister. "You better take the time to explain. I am not going to accuse a Marshall of relations with unholy powers without proper proof. Especially while outnumbered down here against his forces." He replied with his typical authority, placing one hand on his hip as he watches the Banisher, Dio and the Crusader, his sister, run up to him.

But there was just nothing. No more hint of Ork beyond this innocent one that got obliterated for nothing but standing there.

"LITERALLY QUOTED THE BANISHER, ASK HIM!", Lorelei replied without vox, her voice loud enough to carry the last bit of distance. She rolled her eyes, but was used to being the messenger between people. One thing left out, people died. One thing said too much, people died. The messenger never wins.

"This runs thick with the scent of heresy. Nothing here is as it seems. We are being watched and all this is a possible trap. Trust nothing brothers." He stood ready

"Diabolica Pacisci." Father Dio spoke with confidence. In low gothic; Devil Bargain. "The crew of the Templar's transport were sworn to secrecy by way of demonic seal. Upon breaking it, by consent or otherwise, the victim is set upon by the beasts of the warp and forever silenced... We could not save him, but his dying breath named Actoan and the High Marshal as suspect in this blatant heresy! Only a witch could call up such packs. Be on guard Inquisitor. And Miss Marburg that is no way to speak to the Lord Inquisitor. So undignified." Dio finished in criticism while continuing to pull the Crusader along at high speed.
Only letting go, upon closing in on Konrad, to unholster his inferno pistol. His eyes ablaze with righteous anger behind glaring spectacles. 'Burn the witch.'

"Greenskins..."spoke Hyspasian with no small degree of spite in his otherwise inhuman voice.Watching the greenskin`s head being catapulted before Octavir.Lesser men would jump at the bizzare twist of events...but Techscorcist had experience on his side as well as courage.Several decades researching and fighting the byzanthine ways of the Chaos machinery does that to a man.

"Explains who savagely looted that Predator."spoke Zeth as he motioned with his head toward the ruined chasis of the fallen tank.
"Only Orks are that thourough."

Just as he was to dismiss the whole charade that was pulling their strings from the beginning,Zeth approached and picked up with one of his mechadendrites the severed xeno`s head from the dust.
The imbecile look of surprise was locked in the dead ork`s feature,yet vicious cunning radiated from red eyes...like an animal.
Scrutinized under his inhuman gaze,Zeth turned the head around,vitae dripping from the place where it was once its neck.With a clinical detachtment of a scientist he stated,what could have been a rethorical question.

"Doesn`t the pigmentation of its skin is a little off then usual?Could be a feral Ork....hmm..."trailed Enginseer as one of his mechadendrites with an injector stabbed the creature,from where its neck once was,now a gaping hole,viciously opened.

He was no Xenobiologist,but a cross-referenced search might yield something in his laboratory.Satisfied with the samples taken,Techscorcist approached to the two Black Templars at the entrance,who were still at the point,Zeth showed with a motion of his mechanical limb,the severed head to one whom he remembered as Wilburn.

"Are these the greenskins you have been fighting?Take a good look before you make your answer..."

"Somesort of reanimated ork, it exploded when i shot it, the foe is trying terror and redirection tactics, watch your backs" Orion answered Into the vox, before turning to the templars" some sort of reanimated ork, Its dead now" Orion dident regret shooting it, might seem rushed now, but in shadowplay, caution and prejudise could easily save lives
