The pain was searing from the plasma bolt and he briefly dropped to one knee as his teeth gritted in pain. Fortunately the plasma had instantly cauterized the wound. He had been inured against pain in the Schola Progenium, hours of torture a day in order to be able to resist by the Ruinous Powers. And so he did not scream. As a true Scion he stood back up, thrusting his power sword through the skull of a zombie that was bearing down upon him. Another zombie met its end at the end of its sword as he fought to keep them off Harras's back.

OOC: I know that wound to my leg was on purpose!!!

Xaphen fell under the impact of the Bolt. While it had only caused a large whelp and burise to form on his lower leg. He was lucky to even still have that leg, the Carapace armor saving his life yet again.

Now on the floor, he realized the weaker human's were more of threat to his prone position. To give him some breathing room he switched his Lasgun to semi-auto fire and began delivering more accurate shots to the small horde.

  3. Orion allmost staggered as the bolts struck his armour plates, seriously lowering his armour integrety, but in retaliation he kept up his *barrage* of psy-cannon bolts, though his last shots had indeed not reached their target as they where intended to, they had succesfully splattered the meatshield proctecting them, the first bolt whent for the bolter wielding plaque marine, though this time Orion prepared himself to get ready to start moving if he became the target of a heavier weapon, becouse then they would know the wrath of his hammer.

"Aye, milord!", she replied, moving forward slightly to engage the fallen Inquisitor more directly, and activating her Storm Shield proper. A shame for her hair, but she had meant to cut it anyway. At least the smell covered that of their rot for a fleeting moment in paradise.

Her right flank was still more or less open, and with her concentration mostly on the dual-wielding Nurglite (a shame she hadn't brought her own set, fighting with different styles was dishonourable and she had always wanted to try the new Florantian Standard style), she made an absentminded scything motion with her blade to free herself up, though with the lack of resistance, she noticed she had not hit anything. The problem with the Bullhorn formation was, after all, that the body she and her brother were fighting was not the true danger - it was the flanking horns. Kirsten wished she was everywhere, really. Especially with the first cries of pain erupting like a spring from their own rows.

Hopefully the others watched out, she thought, sparing a look to her right briefly.

OOC: Isn't that what happened to your other Eldar guy..... Uhhhh.... Cegorach's fault!

    Left Flank:
    Four Zombies dead.

His immobility would scream for an easy target, but the Nurglites cared little for him, thinking that perhaps one of the reanimated crewmen could dispose of him. Plus the Grey Knights were the true danger here. So lucky for himself, Xaphen went a round bout without harm. But he also could see that the Astartes were not out for him, but far more for the Grey Knight called Sicarius...

Heavy Wound - Right Arm. Against Nurgle Marine - Melta.

The same sidestep would have worked if the Grey Knight would be not as quick as an oiled lightning! Though life was spared, the Melta-carrying arm was gone. Not like the Nurgle Astartes mind as acid spat forth from whatever was left of the arm. An Inferno Pistol was drawn with the other hand, right into the chest of the heavy Aegis Armor.

And as Xaphen was brought down to a knee, the other Astartes focused their fire at the Grey Knight with the Nemesis Force Claymore.

    Medium Wound - Chest (Melta)
Medium Wound - Chest (Storm Bolter)
Light Wound - Right Shoulder (Bolter)
    Against Sicarius.

    Center:
The Inquisitor still not moved, until a very last moment he simply brought his blades down from above his head against the shield - the power fields colliding and bringing sparks to dance in the air! His true intentions revealing just a second after the impact as his maw opened further than human possible and breaking bones ringing in the air, a short gag could be heard before an erupting high-pressure flow of acid and a thousand diseases shot straight for Lorelei's face. And before she realized, she already was thrown to the side. The poisonous and burning puke made for a Zombie that liquified him right there.

It was Konrad who shoved her to the side and caused her to tumble face-flat into the ground. Himself he was on a knee at the mercy of the fallen Inquisitor, would it not had been for his malleus-weapon that shot right into the chest of Bernstein and caused him to have a gaping hole where his lungs were supposed to be. The Nurgle-infested individual just tumbled a bit backwards before chuckling with a broken jaw and the hole closed itself.

Light Wound - Face. Against Lorelei.

"It will take.... More than those tricks... to defeat me!" He laughed in entertainment as a scorpion-tail like limb grew out of his back, being at least two arms long and with a tip that dripped acid. Even Konrad gulped on that sight. He simply knew that if it would hit anyone, there would be little chance of surviving whatever pests it carried!

    Right Flank:
Light Wound - Back. Against Nurgle-Marine - Rocket Launcher.

The attack would have gone fine, if the enemy would have not noticed that Orion let off him and the fact that one of his Nurgle-brethren just died at the hands of Haras. He swung the weapon around and despite way too close proximity decided to still pull the trigger of the Rocket Launcher. It was evident that Haras had no way to evade the missile and it indeed connected with his chest, the rocket-propelled-krak-grenade managing to not just crack open the Aegis armor but even penetrate it. The downside for the Deathwatch Astartes is that he was close enough to the explosion to be blasted backwards, landing with the back on the deck.

Heavy Wound - Chest. Against Haras.

Heavy Wound - Head. Against Nurgle Marine - Bolter.

Both Astartes used their ranged weapons, but when the Nurgle Marine required to reload and had nowhere to seek cover, that is when Orion found his mark and delivered a single shot right into the head of the Nurgle Marine. It would not kill him, thanks of the helmet, but surely it did more than just 'some' damage.

Killed Last Zombies on Right Flank & Center.

Gladius trained eyes could see the battle unfold and overview within seconds. The enemy leader mutated in some grotesque ways. Haras was being blown up by a Krak Missile, but Orion managed to land a critical shot against the other Deathwatch Astartes. The Left Flank still had Zombies leftover and struggled with overcoming the enemy as they were outnumbered. At least the weak enemies on their side and near the Marburgs had been exterminated.

  6. Just after breaking the helmet of the nurglite with the bolter Orion saw his brother brough low by the plaque marines, they where in greater number, and there Orion took a brash decition.
Instead of keeping up his psy-cannon fire, he instead stormed forwards to aid his brother, his nemesis force hammer now brought in both hands as he charged forwards, the hammer was often a very effective weapon against plaque marines shince they lacked the speed to evade his massive blows.
He first stormed the stormbolter wielding marine as the melta wielding had lost an arm, and that 2 bolts where allways worse than one, he aimed to make a heavy sideblow to smack the marines out of the way, so he atleast was out of the way if not dead.

Haras coughed up some blood as the missile broke through his armor and cracked his rib plate a bit. He got to one knee and shook his head. "That kinda hurt!" He then noticed brother Orion rushing over to the Plague marines.

"Hey brother! Did you see me fly? I wish I had wings!" He asked, readying his falchions, cutting away any crewmen that came near him while charging the missile marine again, this time adding a quick sidestep before he committed to the final attack.

He would be next to useless against the possessed Deathwatch marines, even with his years of combat experience he was no match for a regular Astartes, let alone one possessed by a daemon. Seeing his fellow Scion take the wound reinforced his decision

"Moving to the left flank to assist!"

He moved around to the other flank, his sword carving a path to his outnumbered comrades.

Sicarius throw a psyker push at the other attackers in the room at him, forcing them away from him and moving to position the opponent in front of him with the others. The Force Claymore stabbed forward, aiming for the center of mass in the traitor marine to slice up again, through the head and partially bisect the opponent.

Seeing that the Grey Knight needed more help from the Nurgle Astarte's, Xaphen changed back to his gun into automatic to pelt one of the marines that paid him no attention. Las gun's were usually not of much concern and one who would worship Nurgle proabanly would pay less attention to the heat beams, but only a cocky fool would allow himself to be even touched by a Hotshot's high power lasers.
