@WanderingJester Octavir nodded to Sicarus, "Sounds like a plan. I say we have them a walk out in front is us. I don't trust any of these black Templars enough to turn my back to them." He then turned towards the Templars and made his way over. Once he got there he called out, "Give me two of you Templars to lead my brother and I to those ruins over there." He then drew out his nemesis force Helberd in one hand pointed down and held his pistol in the other.
<Gladius Tiberion> "I'll go too, I might be able to climb into some spaces that you all won't fit in." That and he hated standing guard on interrogations. He was a hard man, could deal with a lot of shit, but something about those always messed with him a bit. You couldn't tell from the outside thanks to his training, but he'd rather be in a potentially hostile situation than that. And so he jogged to catch up with the Grey knights.
Zeth slopped back into the oversized pilot`s seat. The chair more accommodating to the bulky form of an Astartes in power armor then anything else. Tapping into the vox-net,Zeth spoke: ++Lord Inquisitor...I have something here. The interior of the Thunderhawk is completely devoid of any corpses,or vitae-fluids.Also I have a strong...well...better you see it for yourself Lord.++ spoke Techscorcist as he translated the last few entries of the flight record to his data-slate and then proceeded to destroy the device itself.Hopefully Templar`s wont find what he has discovered here. "Lord Inquisitor, everything is clean. This is some data I have compiled on interior damage of the Thunderhawk. It is precious knowledge. One day we might use it to make the vessels...sturdier."commented Zeth as he handed out the data-slate to Konrad. "Astartes Octavir,if you do not mind me,could I join you, unless Lord needs me somewhere else?" ++Grey Knight Octavir...if you could choose that Templar that stands on the left side of the Thunderhawk,to come with us,that would be very productive. (Wilmark)
Octavir looked over at the techpriest, "I care little for who is going just make sure to keep up. As for the Templars who come just pick them and get them out in front to lead us there." He then looked over his shoulder at the runner soldier, "Yes, a small body could be useful Gladius. Hurry up then." Octavir then pointed to Wilmark, the Templar Seth wanted to come, and another of the Templar which was just the next one he saw, "Get it moving over to those ruins. You two Templars out in front."
~~ Interrogation - @Casavay & @DaKaptin ~~ "You two, get out of this man whatever you can. I must tend to other evidence. Protect Dio as if you would me, Lorelei." He placed a hand on the shoulder of his younger sister and smiled at her, giving her an assuring nod, before taking his leave. As the Inquisitor walked outside, he already could see the Grey Knights, Gladius and the Templar arranging for their leave for the ruins, he met Zeth half-way on the outside to the cockpit of the once capable machine and took the Data-slate. "Is that all? A compilation of the damage, or did you find anything in regards of what occurred here?" ~~ Ruin Party - @matt23 @Grall_Stonefist @WanderingJester @BadDo9 @MetalDog4 @Schalli @High_Adept_Zeth ~~ Wilmark and the other Templar gave no real reaction to the order and complied happily, leading the group the way through the battlfield, heading straight for the ruins which would be reached after a small trip through the forest, since a climb on the ninety degree wall would be more than unnecessary. They would march once the group had gathered in entirety, even waiting for the Techsorcist to finish his conversation with Inquisitor Marburg, though it would be a short march anyway. Given how close they already were and the fact that only soldiers were among them. Neither Konrad or Father Dio who slowed the group earlier down.
<Gladius Tiberion> He joined the group of Astartes, and for most soldiers that would be a daunting task, to be among such magnificent servants of the Emperor. Gladius dud not feel awe, not any more. He respected and revered them as was only proper, but he had seen them fall in battle, seen them turn and fight against their own Brothers for personal gain. The exception of course was the Grey Knights, whom he still felt a tiny shred of awe for. Their reputation was impeccable and they had never betrayed the Imperium. In his line of work, the Grey Knight's were a lifesaver. 100% willing to give their lives to bring down a daemonic threat and he respected that.
Gregor walked along with the group. He quickened his pace to get to a position left to the templars, making sure they could not see anything before the rest of the group could. There was no use in making conversation. The march was too short to get any meaningful answers and everyone might need their alertness for whatever they could find.
"Alright let's get this party moving. I don't want to spent all day investigating feelings and suspicions. Lets everyone keep your eyes open and call out anything you see, hear, or feel." He then pointed in the direction where they were going, "Take point Templars."
Banisher Dio Navigating the wreckage proved easier said then done. Waiting for the Astartes to remove heavier debris, but without endangering the still living soul aboard the Thunderhawk was proving difficult. Dio waited patiently, cleaning his glasses and taking in the sights and mood. Tensions where high, and the poisonous plants roots where beginning to show roots. While the wreckage was made accessible, Techorsist Zeth secured the cockpit while Dio made for the hold. The smell of fear being the easiest tell. The dead had nothing left to be afraid of. There he was, a broken shell of a man among a field of death. 'Must be monday.' @Casavay "Don't worry Inquisitor, I'll have him speaking the truth in no time. Please, wait here Miss Marburg... You wont want to see what happens next." Dio says with obvious dark intent. Walking up to the robed man, a serf militant of some kind perhaps? Father Dio stood over the figure, the light of the room made him seem dark and imposing. Next, he reached into his pocket and produced another apple sized fruit. Throwing it down to the man, he says in a soft voice; "Eat and gain strength for what happens next." After a long silence, Dio waited for the man to eat or not. It wouldn't stop what came next. Reaching down with his free right hand, Dio takes the man by his neck collar, pulls him to his feet, and bringing him to eye level. His own dark pity less brown eyes looked deep into the man's. "Don't just sit there in darkness my son, give voice to your sins that you may be forgiven before the God-Emperor. Speak now and know you will find a friend... hold your tongue and you'll wish death had come for you when it claimed those around you!"
