"I can confirm the psychic presence. It seems to be coming from one of the Thunderhawks. I would like to investigate it now, but I don´t know how to ditch our honor guard. We could wait, but the signal is to weak for a healthy human. The person could die before we find him. Hyspasian, I do not have done many of these operations before, but would it be too conspicuous if you would find something 'interesting' about that Thunderhawk that you needed to investigate?"

Konrad was about to inquire Actoan about Octavir's question, but Sicarius cut him off.

The Inquisitor acknowledged the news and stopped, putting a hand on Actoan's shoulder. "The Grey Knights feel a still living soul of a human being. Stay on guard here, we will investigate, if it is one of your mortal members it might be better that a man of faith, such as father Dio here may calm him." The Marshall nodded in agreement after some time of thinking and rounded up his Black Templar.

"Lead the way Grey Knights! We shall not rest until we saved the man. Father Dio. Be ready to support the fallen and keep him alive and more importantly... Sane. He might have been trapped for days or even weeks, staying alive only barely. The faster we reach him, the better." He did not use his Vox, but instead instructed the orders out loud - yelling. Perhaps to let the Black Templar be aware of his authority or his apparent plans?

  3. Orion took up his place as back support of the squad of grey knights as they moved forwards, this was indeed the scene of a great battle, and perhaps the orks had invoked something powerfull, either out of curiosity, stupidity or desperation now that the templars had come for them.
He cycled his psy-cannon as the deadly bolts where once again ready to fire.

Even as the company took up momentum, the silvered warrior Astartes reacting to a feeling Lorelei couldn't share, and her brother barking orders, the Crusader remained by her charge.

She still mistrusted the Black Templars and kept a hand on her trusty sword's hilt at all times. To her mind, something was off, and the Shark's comment to her over vox fed her paranoia like heretical texts fed a fire.

Tiberion felt the change in the Grey Knight's behavior and his finger tightened slightly around the handle of his lasgun.

Octavir moved towards the crash site, bumping one of the Templars as he passed. He took up a defensive stance with his hand on the handle of his nemesis force sword. "Stay alert brothers this could be the trap we've been waiting for..."

Sicarus went along with Octavir towards the human psyker presence, covering the other Grey Knight's flank. He also unsheathed his nemesis force claymore, though it was still pointed relatively down. This may change any minute though, and the Grey Knight readied his mind and his body for a battle that might or might not break out.

    <Father Dio>
Walking with the rest, Dio's sidearm and explosives carefully hidden among his robes, he held his Hammer by the base of the head conntecting to the large handle. His suspicions ever high and numerous, but falling silent as they came upon the ruined fort.
The smell of ash and death still gripped the air around them. The echos of restless dead could be found here among all sides. Falling to one knee, Father Dio begins to pray for the brave Soliders of the Guard, the loyal Demi-Gods of the Templars, and the innocent civilians who sough refuge here only to meet the same fate.
'Oh God-Emperor, Master and Guardian of All Man-kind. You who see all and know all, who bore witness to the sacrifies of your loyal servants. Please watch over those who fell here and keep them in your loving embrace. Bring peace to the vengeful dead who still cry out for justice as we fight in their place. Blessed is His name and Great is his mercy. Amen.'
Hearing the Inquisitor's words, Father Dio rises from the ground. Using his Storm hammer for support.
"By your word Inquisitor. I will safeguard the souls of all who still dwell in this place." Dio says as he makes for the fort. Not a shred of doubt or fear in his eyes. In fact, Dio reaches into his pocket and produces an apple sized fruit and takes a small bite out of it.
"Just because we're at war, doesn't mean we can't be civil"

Hyspasian nodded in acknowledgement even though Gregor spoke over the vox.

++I concur.A psyker in the midst of a Templar force is unorthodox behavior to say at least. They kill them on sight unless they are Astropaths or Navigators.++

Voxxed Techscorcist as he rested infront of the Thunderhawk, turning to Wilmark, the templar that he 'interacted' with before.

Releasing his grip on his Gamma Pistol,he made the sign of aquilla with both of his hands and garbled, adjusting his volume of voice:

"Hail Astartes.I thank thee for aiding me in my moment of weakness.I am afraid I am more of a researcher then a combatant. Many of your Brothers died..."obviously noted Zeth as he turned his bionic eyes to the plains behind him and the fallen Templar`s laid there.

"Where you commited to the battle also?"spoke Zeth as his cogitator plug-in jack burn with the fresh amount of data on social interactions with Astartes.A topic that could always needed fresh information, considering its...astute title.

"Oh...I am Hyspasian Zeth,an...Adept of Mechanicum.Forge World Agent if you will it."

    ~~ Earlier ~~
"I would be ashamed and by now dead by the hands of Actoan, would I have not participated in the combat with all of my capabilities." The Black Templar replied, not responding the gesture of telling his own name.

The Black Templar quickly stepped backwards. "Apologies, milord." He acknowledged his fault in this encounter, knowing that the slightest wrong-doing against a member of the Malleus could not just result in harsh punishment, but death of him - and his brothers. Nothing seemed suspicious over the reaction and judging by his psychic aura, there was nothing he had to hide. Not even a hint of guilt beyond to have stood in the path of a Grey Knight.

    ~~ Now - Destroyed Thunderhawk ~~
The group arrived at the Thunderhawk and the Inquisitor turned back to his adversaries. "Secure the perimeter, investigate for any clues, possible survivors and anything else of importance. Zeth, try to find the cockpit of the Thunderhawk and it's flight recorder. Lorelei and Father Dio, we will take a look at the survivor." He instructed detailed and then made for the wreckage, from this distance the echoing grunts of him could already be heard.

Pushing some metal aside and clearing the path for his two followers, Konrad eventually found the man beneath the thunderhawk and within the smashed Rhino, in the transporter part of it. On the outside and inside it was everywhere engraved with the symbols of the Double-Headed Eagle of the Imperium, wards of protections and the words "do not remember." The engravings were done with a combat knife. The survivor eventually noticed the three saviours and his eyes widened.

First of all, the man was just a mere human, a serf. Second of all, he was starved. Third, he instantly dropped the knife he had. And lastly he crawled to the two men and the woman, while speaking as a mad man. "Don't! Don't remember! Nothing happened! NOTHING!" He exclaimed as he was about to reach the trio. Konrad shone a flash light at him and the starved man backed off from the sudden light and growled in pain as his eyes burned. "Tend to this man, father. May you save his soul, so we may decipher of the true meaning behind his riddled words. We remain here for your own protection."

Short after he gave a squad-wide vox. "We have secured the survivor. We will attempt to get information out of him, stay alert and report only if you find anything of interest."
