    OOC Thread Here

It was another sunday afternoon in paradise. The sun was shining bright, blessing the gardens of flowers, fruits and vegetables on the Garden World. In the far south, rain could be seen from his mighty tower. It was not a bad storm, just a gentle blessing of water for the many plants and animals of Kalaidos. The tithes were just recently paid for the year and it was quite a surplus ever since the demand of food to nearby worlds grew after a planet in a neighboring system vanished mysteriously or was destroyed. But that was not of this man's concern. Surely it was just another of those Tyranid attacks. Plus, the Imperial Navy provided even more defense around Kalaidos due to the incident. Even providing their own stormtroopers in the very throne hall of him which bloomed with roses and tulips all over the place! It was the most beautiful sight.

There was no backdraw to the miraculous growths of Kalaidos, at all! And so the world of Kalaidos continued to flourish like it did for centuries since it's colonization. Never anything bad would occur here. Not under his rule, not as long as the sun gifted them with it's warm rays, not as long as the gardens bloomed and the workers hummed like a colony of bees, not as long as the Imperial Navy would guard the greens!

When in fact, oblivious to the Governor, the true danger knocked on his front door, with only one group truly guarding him from what could have ended quite badly.....

Marburg and his delegation finally managed the final push to the bridge where Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Bernstein was awaiting their arrival already. The six Deathwatch marines turned on Marburg and his group, too. But there was no fire yet. "You are the last bit that survived Arcadion's possession, and by destroying you - this hunt will come finally to an end." He drew his Power Rapier.

"Let us then see what you are capable of!" Bernstein roared before his skin literally pealed off and revealed dark-green and yellow patches of flesh. The legs and belly blasted off, even through robes and armor and reveal the typical signs of a Nurglite. The Deathwatch Marines around him morphed in similar ways, revealing their possession through the powers of Nurgle. Their stench manifesting in the bridge and corroding the metal around them, in fact their influence was so great that it brought the common dead crew back to life as undead.

"Orion~Crowd Control! Sicarius and Xaphen~Left Flank! Haras and Gladius~Right Flank! Lorelei and I take the Inquisitor! MENS SUPRA MATERIA! (mind over matter)" Konrad roared before stepping into a charge straight forward, his faith alone letting him believe that he won't be hit as he charged forward. The enemy inquisitor was already in combat stance with his two straight short swords.

OOC: Weak enemies can be killed as liked without waiting for GM confirmation, good hits/moves however can kill more than expected at once. Normal foes will be handled normally. Strong enemies are like normal enemies just that they will take and make more damage. Mini and full bosses are very powerful enemies, same procedure just even stronger.

Sicarius calmly pulled out his Nemesis Force Sword (will now be referred to as the Nemesis Force Claymore) and immedately 3 of the crewmen lost their heads. A second sweep killed another two and brought the Grey Knight within striking distance of the possessed marine with the melta weapon. The Grey Knight used his mind to psy push both of the other former Deathwatch Marines out of the way before bringing the two handed Nemesis Force Claymore down from above, aiming to bisect the Nurgle Marine.

With a near mechanical precision the Scion drew his bolt pistol and power sword, spewing the brains of a zombie all over the bulkhead behind it. The hot-shot lasgun wouldn't be as much use at this range. He kept the sword at the ready as he aimed the bolt pistol at one of the former Deathwatch Marines and depressed the trigger, the rounds flying downrange at the traitor who had abandoned his oaths.

  4. As called upon Orian stopped in the center as others moved to flank and move forwards, he lifted his right arm onto with the psy cannon was mounted, crowd control, he saw as brother Sicarius cut into a host of nuglite zombies aiming to get a quick way to one of the plaque marines.
So Orion took aim at the one with the rocket launcher on the left flank, one shot from that could create unwanted chaos on the brigde. So then he fired at the marine and anyone close to him few psy-atuned heavy bolts with a short moment in between due to the weapons slow fire rate.
  5. Haras was quite giddy. Stuff was finally happening. His falchions came to his hands with a small spin, and He rushed forward, simply cutting down two crew members. One came rushing at him, just to be stabbed, and blasted point-blank with his storm bolter. And then he noticed the Stormtrooper named Gladius firing at one of the Plague Marines, and he decided to charge that one after the bolt, jamming a blade somewhere (maybe in a bolt wound)

A barrage of shining light had began to cut into the crowd of undead that had formed around the Plague marines. Each shot made blisters and boils pop, shattering dead rotting bone and flesh everywhere. The sight of it would of made most Guardsmen puke, but not Xaphen.

The heated beams of his Hotshot lasgun cut a path to one of the Marines most left. Each shot already began to peel of the taint from the once Black armor.

"Bullhorn formation? Long time since I last saw that! Zombie controller's either smart or well-read!", the Crusader shouted, taken in for a few seconds by the fact that an ancient Terran battle formation was at work here, while the Inquisitor was already in the thick of it. She shook her head before running, no, charging to follow him.

Her shield raised (but not yet activated), in her other, fleshed but armoured hand her own large power sword, she soon made an impact on the Zombies - literally - by ramming herself, shield in front of her, into one of them, shattering his body already before bringing up her sword in a sole fluid movement, its heavy blade radiantly ignited and sheathed in a reddish glow, slicing the foul creature into bits and cauterizing the wound instantly. It prevented, as Lorelei noted happily, that the two frontline fighters would be splattered with the black goo and entrails of the rotted corpses. Using the leftover momentum from the attack, she slid in front of Konrad, raising her shield to prevent the foul, Nurglite inquisitor to attack her brother, and using her own body to protect the man's right flank. "Ego ferrum, ego scutum!"¹, she said over the din. Her usual motto when going into battle, more for him than for herself.

    Left Flank:
Light wound - Chest. Against Nurgle Marine - Melta.

Despite the use of his psychic abilities, the daemonic perks combined with the century long training of the Deathwatch Marine allowed him to turn sideways, but the tip still connected with the power armor. In reply, the Melta-armed Astartes rose his Melta weapon, but due to the quick draw and force impact only hit halfway.

Light wound - Right Shoulder. Against Sicarius.

Teamwork bonus! Medium wound - Left Shoulder. Against Nurgle Marine - Storm Bolter.

Thanks of Sicarius' Powers of pushing the Deathwatch Astartes aside, they were quite exposed to being hit with little to no chance of evading. Xaphen shot first three reanimated corpses down and then managed to make a significant hit right into a joint/blister of the Astartes' left shoulder. He could not reply fire, but the regular Bolter wearing Astartes got his body back under control and fired a salvo into the legs of Xaphen.

Light Wound - Right Leg. Against Xaphen.

    Center:
And it was a good move - tactical speaking. The enemy inquisitor brought his left hand up and a fireball shot out of the ring with almost the intensity of a Promethium Flamer that the Astartes commonly use. The fire burned and scorched the shield, but left the wielder unharmed, save for her slightly burned hair tips.

Konrad did not even say thanks as he was busy piercing through the eye, and skull, of an Undead before swinging it around and piercing another ones heart before crushing the skill with his other hand. "No time to waste!" The Lord Inquisitor reminds himself and continues the assault behind his younger sister.

"Keep him busy and I will pierce his weakspots, stay on the defense and let him believe he is in the upperhand, that is when we will strike him down!" He instructed her - as usual. And in fact, Bernstein already anticipate the assault with his show-off sword whirling.

    Right Flank:
Light Wound - Chest. Against Nurgle Marine - Plasma Gun.

The Nurglite follower accepted the shots into his chest with awkward growths that liberately detonated and spat acid whenever a bolt round would hit it. But the Marine took all the time in the world to patiently aim before unleashing an overloaded shot of plasma into the left arm of the Scion. The shot connected and detonated violently, almost ripping the entire arm off, but instead only consuming the lower arm.

Heavy Wound - Left Lower Arm. Against Gladius Tiberion.

Teamwork Bonus. Execution Wound. Against Nurgle Marine - Plasma Gun.

The charged shot of the Nurglite though cost the vengeance of Haras who managed to close in without any problem whatsoever, given that the foe's complete focus was on his aiming. The shot released just a moment before Haras reached him, allowing free access over his life...

Light Wound - Head. Against Nurgle Marine - Rocket Launcher.

It seemed that the Deathwatch Astartes was protected by the crew as they liberately jumped into the shots fired, which efficiently eliminated all living dead on the right flank - but also only allowed a single shot to barely hit the head of the initial target. Luckily, one of the shots had detonated an incoming rocket. However, there was still the Bolter-armed Deathwatch Astartes who fired shot after shot into the center of Orian's Aegis armor.

Medium wound - Chest. Against Orian.

    Enemy Formation:
    Left Flank:

1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Storm Bolter - High-Medium Health - Strong Enemy
1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Melta Gun - High Health - Strong Enemy
1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Bolter - Full Health - Strong Enemy
7x Common Crew Zombie (unarmed - weak enemy)

    Center:

Nurgle Inquisitor Bernstein - Full Health - (two power short swords); Mini-Boss
    2x Common Crew Zombie (unarmed)

    Right Flank:

1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Plasma Gun - To be Executed - Strong Enemy
1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Missile Launcher - High Health - Strong Enemy
1x Deathwatch Nurgle Marines - Bolter - Full Health - Strong Enemy

    Player Formation:
    Left Flank:

    Sicarius - Full Health
    Xaphen - Full Health

    Center:

    Konrad Marburg - Full Health
Lorelei Kirsten Marburg - Full Health

    Right Flank:

    Haras Ilior - Full Health
    Gladius Tiberion - Full Health
    Orion - Full Health

In an instant, Harras' smile disappeared into a horrible, horrible grimace. "DAAAAMMMMMNNNNN YYYYOOOOOUUUU!!!" He roared, stabbing one falchion in to the wounded shoulder and ripping downwards. This made the Nurglite lose an arm, but Harras wasn't done yet, his other falchion flying upwards, removing its head.

And just like that, he felt better, looking over at Gladius. "Hey, at least you'll get one of those shiny metal arms now, right?" He asked, turning to cut through a crewman that was jumping him and blasting another with his stormbolter as he dashed towards the missile launcher marine. He'd launch an entire barrage of bolts, before leading into a cut at its waist.

With a quick glancing blow to the right shoulder, the Grey Knight used the momentum to spin back around. Sicarus came back around, same slice this time, only with an uppercut of the Nemesis Force Claymore.
