The Ordo Malleus [OOC & Chars]

    Chars will be listed here:
    What is the Ordo Malleus?
They are the Daemon Hunters. Essentially only consisting of the most bad-ass and most zealous of all Inquisitions. They have the Grey Knights as their military arm which are specially-made Astartes. Each and all of them have to SOME degree psychic abilities which allows them to withstand the Warp in a unique way. They are said to be so zealous and so pure in their seed and so indoctrinated that they are immune to the warp effects. But... Is that just the Imperial Propaganda, or the truth?

    Will you play, too?
Yes. As Ordo Malleus Lord Inquisitor Konrad Marburg.

    Konrad who?
Lord Inquisitor Konrad Marburg, inspired by this guy, is a non-psyker. He is nice to those he believes are untainted, but will test anyone's will who he only has the least suspicion of any corruption at all - kingdom come! Konrad sees each individual in his retinue as close as his children, however. And with his two hundred forty two years of service, he could pretty much be the father of anyone. His true age is however confidential.

The most interesting might be his maroon-red robes, his blood-red hat adorned with a single white feather and his choice of Power Rapier as primary weapon, although his Witch Bolt loaded Bolt Pistol is resting on his hip and his Inquisition-Necklace is in truth a Melta-Digital-Weapon at it's core. Heavy Flak-Mesh armor is under the robes, on his body to protect him from most harms without slowing him down.

Does the Marburg has anything to do at all with this RP?

Yes! Those who want to play a Crusader have to be from the Marburg family and are therefore related to the Inquisitor in some way. The Marburg family is a Crusader Order that is said to have existed since the God-Emperor walked on Terra. They are one of the oldest and most loyal families to the Imperium in existence. No other than a Marburg Crusader would protect another Marburg. It's also a reason why he is not as 'heartless' as most other Ordo Malleus Inquisitors, some claim he is only an Inquisitor even because of his name.

    What can I play?
    See below.

    When does this start?
As soon as there are 4 players, excluding myself.

What type of RP will this be?
Complete dark-grim. It will be extreme in the psychology department, so unless you can't take the harsh reality of the wh40k universe - stay away, for your own safety.

Combat system - what is it like?
I will try to imitate @WanderingJester system a bit with lettting you know about Light, Medium, Heavy and Execution wounds and so you can act appropriately. Light hits are basically only scratching armor. Medium hits will do some harm, but nothing critical. Heavy hits will rip a limb off. Execution hits will mean that you can defeat the foe. You will write attacks as you like and I will let you know what degree of hit it was and then you can write the damage out yourself what you have done and also your next attack.

    Available Retinue:

    GM Note:
I suggest you take a Grey Knight, unless you are very good at playing a non-GK Daemon Hunter. Non-GK is for advanced players only and I hold the right to deny you to play anything except GK because the warp and daemons WILL have stronger effects on Non-GK due to lack of anti-daemon training. (Yes it is very possible that your Commissar goes crazy after having encountered a Blood Letter in 1-on-1 mortal combat.)

    Semi-Combat:
(3 players max., max. 1 of each origin)

    - Banisher (Ecclessiarchy / Adeptus Ministorum origin)
    - Sister Dialogus (Ordo Hereticus origin)
    - Orders Hospitaller (Ordo Hereticus origin)
    - Techsorcist (Logis rank; Adeptus Mechanicus origin) [just for you @High_Adept_Zeth ]

Note: A Sororitas may be both, Dialogus and Hospitaller but will be only half-efficient in both in comparison to a full-time sister of one talent.

    Pure Combat:
(∞ Grey Knights, Max 3 of any other Origin; no player limit)

    - Inquisitorial Storm Trooper (Tempestus Scion basically; Progenium Origin)
    - Commissar (Progenium Origin)
    - Crusader of the Marburg Family (Progenium Origin)
    - Secutor (Mechanicus Origin)
    - Praetorian Servitor (Mechanicus Origin)
    - Grey Knight (everyone starts as Strike Squad and can rank up throughout the game; from Brotherhood 5 to 8 ; Male Only)

    Char creation:
This is a bit different after reading an inspirational piece and checking my older lists. There is a list below and you can pick whatever you want. But instead of them having an actual effect of being better/worse in a mathematical sense or so, it will actually far more affect your character on a ground level. You will see what I mean ;) The char sheet is beneath the list! These features are more for YOU to think about what your character is like. I want as complete characters as possible, and I hope you, too ;). Not just the typical archetype of "I am a robotic Grey Knight, I must exterminate all Daemons!" come on, I want some character, we are not Necrons or Nids after all! However, be aware to not go to extreme into certain ways... The Inquisitor will purge those that are corrupted... So think a lot before you choose Free-Thinker or Xeno-Friend ;) But if you are good at keeping secrets - go for it!

    Mental Statuses:
    - Paranoid ↔ (everyone is a heretic! everyone is out for me!)
    - Cognitive Talented § (You remember exactly what you ate a week ago, at 12:05pm!)
    - Attention Deficit Syndrome¿ (I judge you in the name of.... Oh look a bird!)
    - My Origin is the best‼ (Oh you from the Adeptus Mechanicus have no idea what it is like to be trained in the Schola Progenium!)
    - Notice me Lord Inquisitor! ♥ (Doing things with the only purpose to please Inquisitor Marburg and gain his attention)
    - Bipolar (I really like you... Wait, you took my lunch?! GOD-EMPEROR PROTECT YOU FROM MY WRAAATH!)
    - Psyker Level (Delta/Gamma for Banisher only; Zeta/Epsilon max. for GK; Iota/Theta/Eta minimum for GK & Banisher; Omicron/Xi/Nu/Mu/Lambda/Kappa for anyone available, except GK & Banisher; if no manifestation, no need to mention)
    - Whatever else you can think of ☺

    Physical Statuses:
    - Ambidextrous (Grey Knights have this by standard; You are awesome even with your left hand!)
    - Limited Paraplegia (You usually need a wheelchair, but for deployments and short amount of time you can stand)
    - Full Paraplegia (You are in a wheelchair; Unavailable for Pure Combat Roles)
    - One-Armed Bandit! (You are missing an arm. Unavailable for Grey Knight)
    - Bionic Marine! (You have a Bionic body part; may elect multiple)
    - Visual Impairment (Your sight is horrible. You may have glasses to counter this effect, if the glasses drop you might have visual problems though!)
    - Whatever else you can think of ☺

    Past Statuses / Experience:
    - Melee Elite Training (You have very exquisite training in one or more melee weapon types & styles)
    - Special Weapon Training (knows basics of Special Weapon maintenance and operation; Plasma, Melta, Flamers, etc. are special weapons)
    - Royal Family (Blue Blood descendant! Perhaps your parents are Governors somewhere? Your Siblings are famous?)
    - Blank Slate (You don't exist in records, it seems you were born today - according to imperial files, anyway)
    - Dropout (You were trained for something but dropped it to become something else)
    - Culinary Ambassador (You learned to cook, a skill that not many have! Nowadays everything are pre-processed protein packs...)
    - Theorist (You barely actually know about your duties out of your mind, you just act as you are supposed to)
    - Free-Thinker (The Imperium rules with an Iron Fist, surely that applies to everyone except me.)
    - Xeno-Friend (Not all Aliens are that bad....)
    - Whatever else you can think of ☺

Whether it is part of his mental status or something else is unclear, as he sometimes remembers esoterica from his life in the brotherhood.

    Suggestions appreciated!

Well History is missing. I suggest to just include his past he remembers from the brotherhood he was trained in and how he performed, etc. Just basics really. Perhaps examples of his statuses in there, too.

After years of grueling tests, both physical and mental, he graduated a second lieutenant in the Storm Troopers. His first assignment saw him in charge of the storm troopers guarding the Black Ship Vault. After successfully dealing with several daemonic incursions on board the ship, he was transferred over to the command of Lord Inquisitor Marburg

Name: Lorelei Kirsten Marburg (prefers Kirsten with familiar people, since she considers Aunt Loreley a hag)
    Age: 32
    Class: Crusader

    Gear:
    Armor Type:
    Carapace Armour
    - Body: A lightweight suit of white gold Carapace, protecting her well but sacrificing some armour for agility.
    - Head: Normally, none. Helmets are hardly heroic! But in serious war situations, she wears a fully enclosed helm similar to sabbath-pattern ones.
    - Other: A Marburg family tabard, and an unneccesarily long red scarf of silk. Her left (bionic) arm is usually not guarded by the armour and instead covered by a flared red sleeve.

    Weapons:
    - Primary Weapons:
    Bastard Power Sword
    - Secondary Weapons: Paired Power Swords, Power Rapier, Hotshot Laspistol
    - Grenades/Consumables: --
    - Special Item: Storm Shield

    Statuses:
    - Mental:
Right to Rule – The Marburg woman is very aware of the near-noble status House Marburg enjoys, and views herself head and shoulders over 'commoners', mentally as well as physically. While this is not to the extent of being unreasonable, it causes her to be cocksure and highly dismissive of any opinion not coming from those of a certain pedigree or proven worth. It becomes particualrly amusing to some when considering the fact that she enjoys being among the 'lowbloods' and spending time with the 'dregs'.
    - Physical: Bionics – Lorelei possesses a red gold-plated masterwork replacement for her left arm, which was cut off in combat during her training.
    - Past / Experiences: Melee Elite Training (Sword and Board)

History: Youngest sister to the Inquisitor himself, and so far down the inheritance line she has no delusions of ladyship, Lorelei Kirsten decided to go down the path of carrying the House name by way of becoming a great crusader and mistress of the sword. Spending her entire youth under various teachers in the Schola Progenium, she devoted her free time not spent under the draconic regime with the study of knighthood and chivalry. While the noblewoman had not graduated top of her class, she had been among the best, and earned the acceptance of her House in doing so.

Even after her graduation, she hadn't stopped studying the history of several knights of the Imperium, including several Imperial Knight houses, what is available from the history of Caliban knighthood, and several others, as well as learning in hundreds of different swordfighting styles, from the ancient Jermanian and Britanian that she had come to prefer to traditional and modern fencing - ritual and martial of course -, two handed combat, ambidextrous swordfighting and many others. This had caused her to amass a large amount of blades; power, chain and simple variants of each. Since the woman considers guns unchivalrous, she eschews those with the exception of the occasional pistol so she has some long-range firepower.

For some time, she has served in the retinue of other Inquisitors and protected other Imperial personnages, including several ecclesiarchal officials, but when her beloved old brother's current Crusader bodyguard had fallen saving the man, Kirsten was summoned into his retinue.

I really start to think I should leave Grenades/Consumables out xD I write in paranthesis behind it that it depends on mission and will be assigned then, I just wanted the field there so ppl don't start throwing stuff in 'Special Items' under weapons. @BadDo9 & @Casavay wanted to put stuff in there too.... Oh well!

Other than that, stuff looks good. Feel free to take Some 'all-in-one survival pack' as 'Other' Gear or so. Like you know. Cartographer, Climbing Kit, food & water rations, etc.! Other than that, looks quite good. I hope the ADS doesn't show up too much during combat :p
