So, I'll be revealing all of the characters later this evening. In the meanwhile anyone who didn't do so already should pick their equipment (see post #53). I will be posting the opening scene possibly tonight, or if not then definitely tomorrow (depends how my novel writing goes, I hate stopping half way in to a chapter when I'm still brimming with ideas).

++Bunker 62++ ''What's the situation?'' Kenny asked, moving in to the room where Bruce and Jeff awaited. ''We-'' Bruce stopped, taking a moment to check nobody else was listening in. ''We're nearly out of food, and water supplies are minimal. We're going to have to go out and scavenge.'' That brought Kenny pause. ''We don't know what's out there,'' he said. ''I know. It's a risk. But we'll die in this hole if we do nothing. We have to think about the others, it's our responsibility.'' Kenny nodded. ''Alright, count me in. What do we tell the rest?'' ''The truth. I won't make anyone go with us, though. Perhaps we should ask for volunteers.'' Kenny nodded again. ''I'm with you.'' ''No. You should stay here. We're not sure your wound has healed, you need the rest.'' ''Fuck that. I'm coming with you, even if I crawl the whole damn way,'' Kenny said. Bruce sighed. ''Alright, fine.'' ''And you, Jeff?'' Kenny asked. ''I'm in,'' Jeff said with an emphatic nod. ''Alright, let's tell the others.'' --A few minutes later-- ''Listen up, guys. I know the past few months have been hard on us all. But I'm afraid we face a new threat. We've almost exhausted the bunker's supply of food and water. I am going to lead a scavenger part out, in to the city, to see what we can find,'' Bruce said. He took a moment to observe the survivor's reactions before speaking further. ''Now, I can't force you to join me. We do not know what awaits us out there, but we do know that if we fail to act we will all die in here. The danger out there will be very real, I can't ask force you to tackle it head on. So instead I am asking for volunteers. Who is willing to join Kenny, Jeff and myself?''
