Jackie was ducked under the table when she heard The medic call her. she quickly got into the cover away from the door and went to Jens aid. She quickly said a prayer to the emporer and began moving. to assist jens. "I am on it BUt help cover me." She remberd hearig the word guardsmen used several time. she wouldnt let jens die she would do her very best to save her even if it meant getting shot.
OOC: I like how my character was sort of forgotten in that I had reached the door already...but since you know...I was forgotten I guess I sneakily made my way to another corner of the room just cause I don't want to get splattered by a flying door. -As Jonah was about to reach the door, he turned back when he heard the commotion, his auto pistol still in his hand and he retreated to a defensible corner where a ferrocrete reinforcement protruded from the wall. As the firefight erupted, he kept in cover until the hostiles attention was solely concentrated on the others before turning around and taking aim. (Better that only a few die than us all). Firing a highly accurate burst at the man in cover, Jonah attempted to kill him or wing his weapon arm (3 round burst targeted at central mass of the shooters right hand side since that is the area the shooter would have presented to Jonah from the doorway). Turning immediately towards the other man, he loosed the other three bullets in his clip before taking out his shovel and charging forwards with a scream on his lips. (Entire clip exhausted aimed at the second hostiles torso)- "PURGE THE HERETICS IN THE EMPERORS NAME! Rally on me and drive this filth out!" -Seemingly heedless of the danger, Jonah charges into the closest figure with his shovel swinging at the persons head in the hopes of giving the others time to arm themselves and reform a defensible position. Unknowing to almost everyone else, Jonah had grabbed one of the lasgun power cells and overloaded it to use a make shift explosive...with the unstable home made grenade ticking away, Jonah was going to sacrifice himself to clear the way if needs be.- OOC: Referencing the Combat Veteran survival manual in how to overload laser based weapon cells to create make shift grenades. Average timing is around 15-30 seconds due to the fact it requires the cell to reach critical heat through manipulation of its power setting.
Ducking back behind the corner he had just rounded, Rex switched out magazines on stub pistol. Can't afford to run out right now, we have to handle this before those monsters come looking around. Yet he stayed there, listening to the shouts and gunshots, trying to sift through it for a cry of pain. The moment the intruder, or intruders, were down he would have to run triage. The medic sincerely hoped Jackie wasn't among the dead, taking care of the bunker by himself would be next to impossible. OoC: Swapping Magazines, current clip is at 3 and pocketing it for my one spare clip.
& & Brick's rage took Lily aback, and she was unable to defend herself thanks to Andreas having pinned her down. Pretty sure I mentioned people near the door being thrown back. Jonah threw the 'grenade' out in to the doorway. The explosion rocked the bunker again, and sent Jonah flying backward. The gunman's body rained down across a large radius, his form utterly annihilated by the blast. Jen's injuries were severe, shots to the neck and chest, her jugular vein (OOC: which is in the neck) looked to have been severed, and blood poured forth. OOC: Reloading doesn't change what the google sheet says, since I'm using it to record total ammo, there's no space to write down that mags are reloaded half used.
OOC: Sour, was hoping I would jump onto him and go out in glory...guess this is a sign from the Emperor that I have some higher calling...and a very sore body...MEDIC!!!!! So I take it the bunker is now secure for the moment.....what a dick female...always knew bitches shouldn't be trusted...especially if they are screaming for help. -Grunting in pain as he hits the bunkers wall. Falling face first into the floor, he attempts to get up before his strength utterly fails him and he passes out, his body overwhelmed from the endeavor. As his body passes out, his fist unclenches to release the shovel, its shaft gore splattered from where it had cut into his hand from being held too hard. His auto pistol lays where it had fallen in the debris, its clip empty.-
Brick collided with Lily in a storm of curse and all sorts of utterances that would probably of been concerning to the Father if he were paying attention. Wailing on her with meaty fist the brute vented all his rage on her head not willing to draw it out since she was far more dangerous than just a common soldier or citizen. His knuckles came away bloodied from her face shattering and his flesh splitting around them, panting hard as he looked to the mess of gore capping off Lily's spine.
Andreas bit his lips on the pain which was caused by quickly turning around he took aim on whomever did not belong to their group, determined to kill them all. "DAMN HERETICAL BASTARDS! TURNING AGAINST THE LOYALISTS OF THE GOD EMPEROR! YOU SHALL MEET YOUR DEATH SO HE MAY JUDGE YOU!"
Jackie new quickly she would have to recat fast she grabbed her medic and began trying to hold down the bleading to her Neck artery she then began apllying bandages to stop the bleading on both her neck and chest. She knew she might have to give her some blood but they would need someone of the same blood type. She cursed quickly and began pulling her friend to cover. After that she began doing all she could to stop blood loss and her from dying
With their attackers dead - from being shot, blown up, or beaten to death - the group began the process of analysing the damage done. ''I'll see if there are any more out there,'' Alexis said, chambering the next round in to her rifle. She headed toward the door, before pausing for a moment. ''This thing is fucked, we won't get it closed again.'' As Jackie treated Jen, the injured woman began to reach out for Brick. ''B-Br-Brick,'' she mumbled faintly.
