Rex woke from the sleep of the dead, no dreams, no starts or fits or jumps as the rest of the bunker life moved around him. In the last six months, this had been the closest he had come to an appropriate rest. It felt amazing. He rose from the hard bunker floor and finally allowed himself a moment to pay attention to the myriad knots and cramps that had collected along his body, stretching with a loud series of pops. His jaw cracked as he yawned. Emperor, I could get used to this.

He began to wander around the bunker, giving B-Dawg a nod and nothing more before moving on. To Rikard, Rex actually smiled at the dour Arbitrator. "Anything happen while I was out, officer?"

Before anyone could ask Lily any further questions, there was a loud bang from outside. An explosion, perhaps. It rocked the bunker, and for a moment the lights were dimmed, before returning back to full power.

''What was that?'' Alexis asked.

-Immediately moving towards the bunkers door, Jonah looks back and gives a nod to the others before opening it, weapon primed and raised as he sweeps it left and right before exiting the bunker and securing the outside. Seeing that the immediate area is secure for the moment, he looks outwards into the city attempting to make out where the noise had come from. Knowing full well that the Archenemy could have left certain "surprises" behind, Jonah begins to deeply fear the worst and addresses those with him.-

"We might want to consider posting a sentry outside until further notice to keep a look out. Those of us who went out already know we aren't alone out here and knowing the Archenemy, they had plenty of time to create only the Emperor knows what...how much longer until the other sortie is to return...I got a bad feeling about this especially if that wasn't them that made that noise."

-Turning to Andreas-

"We need to stock of whatever weapons we have and make sure everyone is sufficiently armed. It would be a good idea we reinforce the sections of the bunker closest to the blast door in case there something out there capable of getting in. It would also be wise that we do an inventory of what we got left. If that noise was created by something other than us....we got a big problem on our hands and we may not have much time left to operate out doors without heavy escorts."

OOC: Everyone get on your marrow bones and pray to the Emperor it's help! Maybe we lucked out and it's a friendly Guard division....or we might be royally screwed because it's a rampaging Ogryn of Nurgle or even worst...a Daemon.

''Sure. You can go stand outside, asshole,'' Alexis said. ''But you ain't telling anyone else to go out there, you ain't in charge here.''

"You don't like it? Well he is right. Better be ready for the worst case scenario. Obviously the Sarge is still out there so you tell me then who is in charge? Mr. Politics over there? I don't think so. The safety of this world lies in the hands of the Imperial Guard and the soldiers which fought and are still fighting are the very reason you are still alive. So better shut it and help!" Andreas roared at the woman and started to pile up weapons and ammo in one place.

"Lily are you 'awake' enough to hold a gun AND hit? Soldiers should have a priority on weapons and ammo due to the capability of better using them."

''The Imperial Guard?'' Alexis said, ''the same Imperial Guard that let this all happen? You didn't defend us before, what makes you think you will now, eh? You can't even get along with each other, that's why two of your comrades are out there, and you're still here. No. The guard failed us, we're on our own.''

''I can shoot, but the concussion isn't exactly helping,'' Lily said, glaring at Brick.

OOC: you both (you and Cody) keep referring to the politician, but he's not shown any signs he holds any power within the group.

OOC: Then damn say what the heck we know xDDD Seriously to differ here between OOC and IC is darn hard with the little info we have what our chars actually know. You kinda say our group knows each other, though somehow they don' so what now? XD

EDIT: Keep in mind that we apparently were quite a while together in the bunker, yet we do not know the length of that or what has happened ever since.

OOC: You could, you know, read the RP? He's not made any of the decisions, or done much of anything. Just because he was a politician doesn't mean he holds any power in the group, yet you both act like he does purely because of his old job. He's tried, but so far he's not achieved anything. The group has lived together for five months, that's specifically stated in the opening post.

Brick waved off the glare instead standing by for the inevitable shit storm that was about to hit with gun ready. "Jen girly you're a better shot than me, keep a hold on this. " Gently tossing the weapon a few feet over to her he took up his sword instead, rubbing some grime off the hilt with his thumb unsure if it was remains or just from the dismal conditions of their bunker. "Alright folks quit your bitchin and lets formulate a plan. Could be anything out there, Cultist, Monsters, Overloading generators? Rovin bands like our own or hell maybe reinforcements have arrived and we're in the middle of a war zone. Or could be our own mooks, never know. "

Alexis handed Lily her weapons back. As the survivors discussed their options, there was a new bang. This time at the door. Not an explosion, a knock.

''What the?'' Alexis said.
