"Whadda fuckin think ah'm doin?" Buzzsaw says as he works to hold the door shut. <After barricade completed> "If'n we wuz ta git on tha ruf, mayhap we could jump o're ta tha nex house." Buzzsaw suggests as he sags against the wall. He wasn't as young as he used to be, and could only run on adrenaline for so long. On top of that he was starting to notice a slight grinding in his bionic arm when he tried to raise it above his shoulder. It wasn't a real problem yet but would need to be looked at eventually.

"Father over there has the right idea. Lets split up, stay in teams and stay armed. We don't know what else is out there, Emperor knows there could be flying freakazoids waiting to crash in. " Looking to Jen he nodded toward the center of the room. "Jen keep my Las-carbine for now, watch the barricades. I'm gonna search the rest of the house..." An idea came to mind and he hopped up on an overturned dresser part of the barricade, pulling open the refrigerator to see if anything of use was hidden away inside.

"Talkin about splittin up to search this buildin, though if things look real ugly like out there we may need to split up, give everyone -some- chance of surviving rather than all of us getting munched. " Frowning Brick dug through the contents finding only rotten food that had spoiled when the power died.

Day 1: Rescue Mission -hugging the wall of the nearby stores and staying in the shadows, Jonah managed to come within range of a massive horde of undead. Seeing their attention fixated on a particular building (D5), he began to make some quick calculations in his head. Based off the distance from the bunker and the amount of undead attracted, it had to be a relatively large group of survivors and most likely ones he probably knew. Cursing his luck for being stuck with such narrow minded people, Jonah checks his auto-pistol for the fourth time that day and begins to think of how to rescue them or at least distract the horde into a different direction temporarily- [End Exert] Yo GM, hook me up with some specifics....something loud would be greatly appreciated in terms of items I can use. Also, do the buildings still mostly contain windows or are we agreed that the invasion destroyed almost every one of them.
Once Rex had caught his breath, he began to search the building with autopistol drawn. If there were more of those things out there, it would pay to be able to line up a shot as soon as possible. The medic wasn't just looking for anything of use from food and water to medication and ammo, he was also looking for any breaches in the building and potential exits. Windows had to be blocked same as the door, but surely there wasn't just a single way in and out of this place.

OOC: The place was shelled to shit, most walls didn't survive, let alone windows (some would still be there, though, especially ones on higher floors that weren't hit. But they might be cracked, or whatever). Though, I wouldn't think it unreasonable that most of the shattered windows were boarded up as part of the defence effort. You have a gun, they're pretty loud. You could also make noise by throwing bricks, or yelling, or smacking pieces of metal together. It's a ruined city, there'd be bits of broken everything all over the place. Moving alongside Rex, Kenny reached a rear door. This door was made of metal, it was thick and sturdy.
