I'd agree ... and in the dozens of Tau threads over the last few years no-one seems to be able to answer how do do it without using drones (AI), or multiple races (different character model wire frames) or manage to solve the usage of cover issues (why all factions are roughly the same size)
The Imperial Guard (or the Adepta Sororitas or the Adeptus Mechanicum or the Inquisition, etc) would never deploy against five chapters worth of Astartes. One chapter, maybe they'd have a disagreement with. Five? And all founding chapters? And risk pissing off all of their successor chapters? Including the Ultramarines' successors, who are like a quarter of the total Astartes? No way.
I'd poop if there was necron. They are my favorite. I'd welcome any new race though as long as they were balanced.
I'm pretty sure they said that playable necrons are the kind of stuff they wanted to add through the "real money" store. Edit: found it. "The store will have unlocks, which could be something like being able to play Necrons and these will cost, because we need to develop, run and operate the game for the next 10 years." State of the crusade
No guys lets add the Squats as the next faction. I want to be three feet tall and hit people in the shins
Next playable race should be necrons, cause they'r second most awesome race in the universe after orks.
I usually hate this type of "contribution" to discussion. But hell yes! I mean NOOOOOOOOOO! JUST NOOOOOOOOOOO to Dark Eldars!
Really can't see necrons working with the current pacing of the game. I know they're not really slower than anyone else rulewise, but I just can't picture a necrons warrior sprinting around, rolling, climbing etc...
