I'm going to re post an idea I had in a thread about executions since quite a few people "liked" it there. So you approach a enemy on their hands and knees and instead of just pressing the button forcing you into a animation you can't stop, You hold "E or Rightstick" in until they're dead or if you have to stop you let go of the button to drop the victim and do whatever you need to do. If the animation isn't finished then bonus xp isn't given and the target isn't killed unless you go back to start another execution. I also had another idea to have quick execute animations that happen after you just tap the button. Like a shot to the head or a stomp on the neck.
Sounds like a reasonable/simple method of interrupting yourself which I've seen in many games, especially when it involves reviving a team-mate in a Co-Op horde mode or something. The idea of a quick execute kind of defeats the risk/reward of a slow execute system preventing their revival as no-one would pick the slow version.
Definitely like the idea! It would allow the dev team to remove the frustrating invulnerability while executing someone but also let a player decide if they want to finish the execution or break out of it to avoid death.
I do like the idea of a slower execute, for taunting bonuses and extra XP. But being able to break out of your executing/reviving is more important in my opinion. So I guess the tauntingly slow execute would be a different button.
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsKtjTEJrvY Yes it is awesome of an idea and should be added, and it can work on a controller just got to make it into a combo of button's.
Another crazy idea I have is for a group of Orks that have low damage kicks that you can spam and get other orks in on. The more players that krump the more XP they all get.
oh maaaan, i'm visualizing this in my head as the one, who is on the ground. when you know, that these are a lynch mob of players kicking you *shudders*. niiiiiiice!
