Well, they have had our money for a long time now. There is next to nothing they sell in the shop worth buying, and we all have masses of RTC sat around doing nothing, we are highly unlikely to ever buy anymore RTC with real cash.

We are irrelevant now.

The F2Pers on the other hand are ripe for exploiting.

I recall hearing that they'll be changing the look of our venerable weapons.

The Venerable weapons are some of the only Alt skins in game that are actually alt skins. If we get new awesome looking Venerable weapons they'll probably come with an additional +100 LP cost and as a result never get used like our Relic weapons and most terribly overpriced(+100LP) Master Crafted weapons.


I concur that Venerable weapons as a concept in game have missed the mark.

The old and rusty or patina look doesn't fit with the 40k universe(for Loyalist at least) because most Venerable weapons have a dedicated Mechanicus entourage that are in charge of maintaining, oiling, polishing, repainting, and repairing each Venerable weapon. The fanatical warrior priest aka Adeptus Astartes wielders of these weapons treat and maintain these venerated weapons with extreme reverence.

While "Venerable" in 40k implies ancient it also implies master craftsmanship, extraordinary maintenance and unimaginable upkeep efforts versus implying something being rusty, neglected or worn out.



Interestingly enough when I enter a search for 40k Venerable weapons BHVRs Apollo Pattern Plasmagun shows up. It's too bad this skin isnt actually a Venerable skin because it's obsolete and not worth equipping because it costs +100LP more than the standard and alt skins. Beautiful skin! Too bad nobody ever uses it because of the +100LP loadout cost. What a waste of a great looking skin!


Here's what comes to mind when I think of Venerable weapons(to include the skin above)

Those skulls looked cool as hell, and I miss my loss of style from their current absence.

I don't think that the Venerable Weapons will get a +100LP if they just make it "pretty". If they upgrade it also, to master crafted or unique, well than yes they will do it and it will getting rusty in our inventory space again ... (haha, that irony). But thats just theorectical, because the chance they redo the weapons set for founders is, well, small.

I think you misunderstood my intentions.

I was trying to point out how ridiculous it is that all the "Pay to look cool" Relic weapon skins we bought for real money aren't pay to look cool skins. They're actually +100LP cost Mastercrafted which nobody wants! We just want skins and "pay to look cool" weapons that have the same loadout cost, the same stats as standard weapons!

I was alluding to the fact that if we get more appropriate cool looking Venerable weapon skins BHVR may also add stats a +100LP cost(which nobody wants, we just want skins!).
