I spoke with Noah regarding the weapons themselves going on sale and it could happen in the near future apparently. For now based on what marketing has decided they want to try to have a sale of these 20 $ bundles. Id also think when gifting is enabled you can share the components that you already own . But I cant make the call on that... Id recommend making a ticket with customer support and they should be able to help you. They are extremely reasonable folks based on the past interactions i have had with them . Again the 20 $ thingy is a sale bundle and that is how most sales are...they group up things that you may or may not always want with stuff you want.
Bolter looks sick recolored, ragespitter as well. The shoota is ooooooook in silver, not a huge fan BUT what's nuts is that it's the tracey shoota skin which is BADASS on a SHOOTA.. like dayum.. I want that.. the shurkien catapult though? eeh.. s'ok.
That's exactly what this thread is. Asking for the Venerable weapons to be upgraded, to be better than those adamantium/silver weapons. To be Venerable.
My post was in response to doomToasters post of "@Oveur how high are the chances that founders who backed you up when you needed money could also get those? " Not to your thread itself... yes I agree the venerable ones need a face lift...No I dont agree that we should have the new weapons for free.
Well my complaint concerns pretty much only about what you deem "a seperate topic" Venerable. Basically what @RemoSupremo said in the opening post. That should be something awesome, something flashy, shiney or amazing. Something one would look at and say "Whowh... cool skin!" But look at them. The Ork ones are ok (for me at least) Chaos rusty-scheme works for nurgle, but rusty chainsword n Bolter for LSM? Barly distinguishable reskins (apart from the Shurriken Pistol) that you sometimes can't even see because of the powerfield for eldar? Let that sink in, and before that, look at the new stuff and how awesome it looks. That's at least what's driving me mad. A facelifiting would also totally do the trick and quench my anger, but i guess we both know how fast things go in this development, and i see open world before that happens, as this would only benefit a handfull of people who no longer have to buy the game aká gave money that is allready spent. So maybe i am greedy, could be, but i feel sharked a little, better to have bad saying then beeing pulled over the table. I am sorry if i stepped on your toe, but the founder pack i bought long time ago for quite a lot of money barly held any of it's promises and one of the few things left was the cosmetic things you would get for it. And as they are quite underwhelming... is it wrong for wanting something for that spent money? I don't think so, but that's of course only my opinion. And now consider another thing: I got a lot of RTC for my founder pack. If those reskins would be available ingame to buy with said RTC, it would be a whole different story (The Armors are at least) as i could use my virtual currency that i have on them... but they arn't. This again smells like sharking, doesn't it?
The unique weapons may make their way to the RTC store soon(TM) as standalone maybe ? I think they stand to lose nothing by releasing these as stand alone sale on RTC store. Question could be when.
When is always a difficult question here i am afraid. But yes, if that would be the case, i would also be happy. But the happiest of course i would be if the venerable skins would just look good across the board. But one can't have everything
