People keep asking the same questions "Why wasn't I given what I paid for 4 years ago" Because you didn't pay for it, you invested into an idea. An idea that wasn't possible with what they had.

It's flew past you to I'm assuming... Plans change yes but around a year and a half ago they announced they are actively working on adding the items that were sold to players... These are not "planned features" that got suddenly scrapped these are actually items that were sold and confirmed to be in game. Orks have been the most shafted as the quality of the items they have got so far is far below the other factions as well as still missing things. The 2 weapon types actually had versions sold in the shop... Here I'll post a picture that Nathan posted he said the red X are things that are not in game... 2 of the items without a red X are the 2 weapon types that they don't even have the base version of in the game... There's been no info on if they are even going to add them since over a year ago. You don't seem to get that they actually had a "confirmed items" shop where they were selling items to players during the initial founders period and during founder access before early access. These items were confirmed to be coming before the game leaves early access and for the most part the majority of them did come... But.... 2 of the weapons and their base weapon types never came. Also you can't tell me that the ork items sold in the shop match the concept art... I mean look at the other races things they match based on the effort put in going from LSM being dead ringers CSM being okay some small changes due to the character model interaction but you can easily tell they got some quality and then you got eldar which for the most part their items look like the concept art generally but a few things such as colors and stuff don't really fit.... Then you have orks.... General shapes are different they are missing the majority of details and the colors don't match.. In general the ork things are the least like their concept art. Priority no.1 should be to get the things that people bought into the game and for the most part that has been the priority.... For LSM/CSM/Eldar... Orks though.... Nahhhhh... I should also mention that the Pioneer pack I brought up was a 15 dollar pack they were selling during founders it was basically those who backed the idea of free to play those who backed it would get ork melee weapon, hat and squiq cage backpack... Those were completely swept off the table and we were told that we would get a refund... Contacted support twice about it just to have my ticket marked as solve and get a generic *you'll get the items when they are added* no refund no nothing.. Also on a side note that isn't really related to this topic the RTC system as a whole seems to be bugged... I audited my account to discover that I'm actually missing 5.4k RTC... It's not a lot and honestly I'm not all that worried about it but the fact that I don't have as much as I'm supposed to should send a troubling message to you. Contacted support about that and had the ticket marked as solved with no response. It's not like I bought things that I forgot about as I went through every character and priced everything and factored in EVERYTHING and came to that conclusion.. Checked the math multiple times. Anyway I'm done trying to explain it... It's been super shady business practices since the start for the company and honestly I don't think they'll stop.
In regards to the Ork weapon types, I think they'd have to do new motion-capture for it, and they're waiting to build up enough stuff to do motion capture for all at once to make it worth the cost of doing a motion capture session.
I don't know they are both shoota weapons the size of a shoota just 1 has 2 fire modes which is a shoota and rokkit while the other is a plasma gun equivalent which during the update a year and a half ago they said wouldn't get its fuel tank due to it causing issues with other cosmetics. I honestly can't think of a animation they would need especially considering all ork weapons use the same reload animation.. Shoota, bit shoota and rokkit are the exact same animation just going at different speeds.
One of these days I'm going to start taking pre-orders for an amazing game, then deliver a Pac-Man clone done in RPG Maker while enjoying the pre-order money and giggling.
I think the saddest part about what you said is that's actually been done with some of the early access games on steam lol.
