Yup was said so in the live stream. Rational being that the animation work will take three months. So instead of getting on with it they're gonna wait. Then it'll still take three months when they decide to get on with it . I can't pretend to understand the thinking behind this.
i guess they figure they'll be able to use it to get vets to come back when everyone gets bored and the f2p dries up. pretty lame.
If you can do animation by hand in 3 days you should do some and show it to bE I am sure they would higher you on. Do be aware you need 3 different sets of animations and you need to include all animations for every position/weapon and it needs to be animated to a high standard, no tearing or clipping.
Dont mention development or whats being worked on, They simply lock the threads. Elites have been coming but in the last stream they said that the animations for Orks and Eldar can take upto 3 months each implying they havent gotten them so we are atleast 6 months away from elites.
The point of me being so mad at this point seems to have flew over your head and pointing at the eldar kinda makes me angry. Let me break it down as much as possible. - 2 weapon types are missing which are kombi shoota and plasma gun equivalent... Both of which were sold to players during founders. *Spair keys kombi and splash burna* - No squig armor and if we do get it, it wont match the concept at all - No pioneer items support just marks as solved and says *you'll get it when it's added* which is clear at this point it's not coming. - Relic looted 'umie bolter hasn't even been started yet admitted by you guys on stream yesterday. - All of the models look like they are just thrown together and very cheap... All of the weapons share the exact same base it's most noticeable with shoota/big shoota and rokkit literally only the front of the gun is different. - So few noticeable QOL changes for orks that it has me thrown into full on salt hulk mode I mean the only one we got is kannon reloading while braced... Literally that's the only QOL change I can feel since ork implementation. - The rogue trader weapons we have gotten don't match the concept art nor do our bronze weapons we got as founders. - The very first rogue trader cosmetic that was sold during the founders is laughably inadequate to warrant the cost and that's the looted 'umie armor. It's literally just a chest plate glued to the front of 'eavy armor with 0 other model changing features while other races armors are much MUCH more noticeable. - The Loota still floats when vaulting - General lack of polish The eldar have at least got all of their weapon types save the spear and also all of their cosmetics along with the fact their weapons and stuff at least match up with the concept art. LSM have gotten all of their cosmetics,items and even some new weapon types and stuff that were not announced same with CSM. Also seriously with a straight face... Look at the concept art for our weapons and items... Then look at the in game model. Then look at LSM/CSM concept art, Then look at the in game model. It's very VERY clear why I'm so pissed at this time about that... It looks like you guys skimped out on the ork weapon models to put the budget into LSM. Just in general the orks have been getting the short end since they were introduced into the game. Honestly I've always got annoyed but this is beyond the point of being able to ignore now. I mean you guys admitted on stream that you hadn't even started the ork looted bolter and the one relic we do have doesn't even look finished when side by side with the concept art... The colors are off and in general it looks janky. You can claim that you guys care about your ork supporters but honestly actions speak volumes. I don't even wanna go into the painboy and how it was stated multiple times it's the worst suppport.... Months later nothing is done to address the issue. It's like pointing at a hole in the roof and just ignoring it. I didn't mention the bikes/heroes because no one has those and I don't see them coming tbh. Also about the extra copy.... You can trade it yes.... Will it be worth anything? On paper yes but due to the extreme flood of copies going out it's not even going to be worth 10% of the listed cost. over saturation is a thing and this is a prime example.
