Tbh I don't even get why most senior players care that much. Chaos is gonna keep using ragespitters, AC's, chainaxes, and necrotic chainswords. Orks are still going to point anything with a shooty end down range. Eldar are still going to fly around harassing people, using double meltas with a fusion gun, and invisible chain sabers. And the lsm will just storm bolter everything to death. I geuss its the apothecaries with the rusty weapons that really get them mad? Just pretend its all blood rust from all the people healed over the years!
It's a gift copy... We already got the game... We're getting a gift copy that is 100% useless and so many will be in circulation that you won't even be able to get 5 dollars in RTC with the spare copy. @Oveur The sheer salt I've had with you guys the past few weeks... It has nothing to do with me hating you guys... I can even look past the crap happening with the new dlc.... For the love of god... Start giving us orks our missing stuff.... We're literally missing 2 weapon types.... We're missing quiet a lot of cosmetics.... Our weapons all use the exact same base and look very bland. Our lootas still fucking float when they vault for fuck sakes.... Seriously man... My salt mines have exploded at this point. You guys are doing all this stuff and you've neglected orks since day 1... I'm even willing to look past all the lies of having different day/night/weather versions of the maps we have.... Just please... PLEASE give us ork vets the things we've invested to get. I mean you confirmed on stream today..... You guys literally haven't even started on the looted 'umie bolter... Like seriously I know not many ork players but are we really that fucking low on the totem pole that you guys just don't care about us ?

I like our venerable weapons, the checks look badass IMO. Plus we all know if there are weapons that are no longer available, even if they look like shit, people will equip them just because they are considered rare and it gives that whole status thing. Also I thought venerable meant old and battered (with constant use) so aren't the rusty weapons spot on?
@Oveur Just so we're (I'm) up to speed. Only people who bought before free to play get venerable weapons. Venerable weapons are getting a redo that isn't just the subfaction colour thing. This means all the venerable weapons for all the factions are getting attention (cos the Eldar and Ork ones are a bit meh!) We're getting a giftable full version of the game in the near(ish) future. The gift game won't have the venerable weapons. Pre F2P players will get access to the silver/adamantium weapons. Pre F2P players are still getting "something extra" on top of that. Anything wrong or anything I've missed?
Uhh... I'd just like to clarify that I'm not actually pissed off by this. I'm just bored enough to post in this thread to keep myself entertained for the past few hours by being a 'regular' in this thread.
You make a good point. If EC used a different customization system, it might be a problem. But the way it works right now, it's really not THAT big an issue. I mean, when I was fiddling with loadouts on my Eldar character some-odd months ago and noticed how Eldar venerable weapons work, I think my reaction was to just not use them since I prefer aesthetics that look more well-maintained. But it's my personal preference, so I didn't make any sort of issue out of it since it's good to have a wide variety of aesthetics to appeal to a wide variety of tastes. And I'm starting to wonder if it's only coming up now out of a sense of, frankly, entitlement about 'newbies' getting cool stuff.
What the actual fuck. Why do they think this is okay? @Oveur please, feel free to explain. I've been with this game for literally years and you promised so much. Now I can't even get a few decent cosmetic items? And no, not the venerable items, those have been almost universally panned by the community. Jesus.
