Yes and besides it's not like it's some f2p exclusive item (the new steam pack items that is!). Actually, infact, just adding the new stuff on the Steam store is literally as if they added some new items normally, except you have to buy these via Steam. Apparently the OP's argument is basically "You got new items into the game just as f2p launched, and those items are bought via steam, therefore they disrespect founders" which... is kind of... stupid... Do all the new items now have to be founder and early access exclusives or what? I don't see your point. I don't see why this just came up like that... THE ONLY SINGLE DIFFERENCE between the silver and adamantium item releases and the releases of items ingame is the fact that you have to buy the silver and adamantium ones on steam. I see in no possible way, ever, that this is disrespectful to founders... It would only make sense if this argument was actually about the fact that certain RTC items, and items you can get in those packs look better than the venerable weapons, which is true. But firstly venerable weapons aren't founders items. Secondly they're getting reworked. So why continue about this?
Wait a second, we the older players are not supposed to get both the venerable weapons AND the bundles?
I think the confusion stems from "venerable" Dreadnoughts in WH40k TTG looking incredibly ornate, more like the "relic" weapons on the store.
Well since they're reworking them we can stop talking about it? We solved the issue, they are adressing it, whopsie daisy!
We are meant to get the venerable weapons and we kinda did.... but not the bundles. Bundles are like a new RTC item release except they're in a steam bundle to be more visible. It's perfectly logical for a dev to do this. It's like saying "The devs released an item that I think is better than our exclusives therefore now they shit in our face" which is so whiny and entitled.
I run a Gas fitting company I give written detailed quotes of the work I'm carry out with a price and I'm expected to deliver and keep to the quote. The gaming Industry gets away with murder, construction work is quoted on paper just like EC's promises... It's like me saying I'm going to fit you a new heating system but all you got was a few radiators but out of good will I'll fit your friend a couple too. In the UK we have TV programs witch headhunt construction company's not sticking to quotes
People will continue to argue about it until the change actually makes it into the game itself and they have the updated versions.
Though on that note @KharnVarus itd be appreciated if they could put the bundles in the game store, makes sense kinda. Only reason I say that though is I own half the items and being the cheap bastard I am would like to take advantage of bundles accounting for what you have and not charging you extra, well, unless I could give it away.
Oh zoggin hell, I wanted so bad the ork bundle and you cant even buy the chestpiece in the regular store. I frigging mad goddamit, why they just dont give us the bundles and not just that crappy look piece of shit weapons. I mean, the ork ones are pretty nice but then again the other factions venerable weapons are the most lame piece of shit that I ever see and then YOU CAN GET THOSE BUNDLES FOR FREE BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT THE GAME BEFORE? ARRRRRGH
I'm trying to do something about that and the devs are aware of the concern. Putting those bundles ONLY on steam store was a bad idea and they know. As for venerable items they are, again, getting a facelift. Believe me when I say I am a tiny bit angry a little bit about the fact they're not avilable in ingame store.
