The negativity on steam for EC is getting bad.

The cons outweigh the pros of putting the removal of vehicle blocking as a current priority. Possibly vehicles would get their movement areas re-evaluated at Beta, other than that I don't really see happening.

    not sure if serious...but okay...
they are horrible in handling, unresponsive in an unrealistic unintended way (at least in my impression) they feel like toy tin boxes that kinda slide/float.
they arent even half as 'good'as WoT tanks.

Have you driven a tank in PS2? The MBT ones, they pretty much feel the same, very hard to control, and they're futuristic tanks too. The current Predator and Rhino move very similarly to the ones in DoW 2 game, which is slow and heavy, and I like that.

I don't who you're trying to fool but I drove a Pred just 2 days ago and it didn't feel like it was floating at all. If any, it felt heavy because the acceleration is a too slow. It's toy tank that's responsive, real tanks aren't actually easy to handle either, at least the WW2 & WW1 ones, which are what tanks in W40K are based on.

i have, in fact i played it today hahah, they can run slow and heavy thats fine but they should be more responsive compared to what they are now. at the very least it should stop turning right when i stop turning right, at this moment in time it doesnt, so rather it being big slow and powerful its just unweildy

they would literally have to remove like one thing. do you really think they are going to even have a beta?

Tanks are heavy and carry a lot of momentum. In Warthunder, you'll see tanks behaving exactly the same, if you build up a lot momentum in movement, when you stop, the tank will keep moving, the only way to stop it is to hit reverse button.

    It's been ages since I played PS2.
Nonetheless, DoW is a RTS, i dont think thats a good comparison either for or against how the vehicles move in this game.

Im not 'trying to fool anyone', easy on the white knight reflexes there, buddy.
I'm saying I dont like how they feel now, they somehow feel unnatural to arent very instinctive in handeling.

    in the 41st millenium.
you would think they would have improved a bit since ww2, right?
still its not very relevant to try to explain the way the vehicles move now in EC by using DoW or real life ww1 or ww2 tanks.
The main point Im making is that to me they handle like shit and got the feeling all wrong.
I'd be surprised if I'm the only one.

aside from entering buildings(oh, i remember how rino could enter Olimpis A) there should be little amount of places where vehicles are denied. Currently, the whole map is basically of roads. The most open and covered environment is Harkus ruins, but there is little action going on there.

Vehicle gameplay was much more funny without walls everywhere.

DoW 2 is one of the few games that nailed the whole W40K feel, especially the vehicles, so it's logical to use it as a standard to judge EC, at least in term of immersion.

When I certainly like it, and I don't understand what you mean by unnatural? You think a tank handles like a Lambo or something? Tanks are unwieldy and clunky, it's their nature.

"It's in the 41st millennium" is not a good explanation at all. We all know that W40K is only loosely based on our real world. There is a reason why we don't make tanks which look like a box or have side guns anymore, the Rhino, Predator, Leman Russ clearly use WW1 design. We certainly don't make tanks that's as big as a building (Baneblade, Landraider, etc...), well, we did try to but found out that was a stupid idea so we stopped. And I'm pretty sure if we made a real Predator, it would handle like shit compared to a Leopard or T-90.
