You can't tell the difference between a "cinematic trailer" and an "in-engine trailer" ? EC only has 2 cinematic trailers, the rest are either in-engine or in-game trailers.
Show me where you specified the type of trailer, and when you can't, I'll explain to you why your question is meaningless. Ready? Set? Go!
Huh? You know they're having trouble putting players on the map right. A 16x16 map makes no sense if they can only have 64 people in it. And what Nathan talked about is supposed to be a part of their post launch plan. Also, the current approach right now is to make the map as big as possible and sustain as many players as possible. That's why the new maps are bigger and look different from their initial maps. You'll have lobby shooter, but lobby shooter on big scale.
I'm aware, and if you've seen my posts in regards to the scheduled release, then you know that I don't think the game will be ready by then and am hoping it releases as an open beta. However, regardless of the release schedule being forced by the publisher, that is where the game currently is.
We're not buddies. And since this is one of your first posts and you joined in Jun 9 2016 how come you know so much about this community to write this kind of bullshit?:
Yes and no. If the 16km map would be a traditional team vs team it would feel empty as hell, but since its EA, just do a free for all, so people can explore the map, testing purposes for devs, some data to gather, and for us to clown around a bit. It still wouldnt be perfect, I get that, but the main point is, to think outside of the box and to focus on getting those higher numbers in on a 16km by 16km map. Thats what I would do. If there's trouble with it, put more effort into it. The post launch plan for the big map was not known to me, might have missed the part where he said its planned to be post launch, i dont mean that sarcastic btw, ill take your word for it. What keeps coming back as one of the if not THE biggest attraction is the open world concept. Now eventhough open world just isnt technically possible, doesnt mean they shouldnt heavily focus on a 16km by 16km map to emulate it. "The lobbyshooter but on a bigger scale" isnt a bad approach at all, we are in June now and all we had was/is Harkus fortress, which judging from forumfeedback many people seemed to dislike. Personally I didnt think it was half bad and I loved the high playernumbers despite the issues it would create. I hope that what they plan to do is to focus on getting all factions in ASAP, and after that focus on bigger maps and higher playercounts, but it seems to me that the priority now (rebalancing since last patch) is to achieve more flavour via the different races/factions versus going for bigger maps and better design. Each shootergame has 1 to 3 maps tops that are the absolute favorite with players. It would seem logical to me as a nonprofessional to just put new maps on the backseat while focussing resources on achieving depth and diversity firstly with gamemodes:bigger map higher numbers, and then adding the factions, balancing them and put em in those maps. Maps like Thorium reifenery are so boring i cry my eyes out. The attackzones and cappoints are pretty far from eachother, the whole center is unused, now the 'big distances' wouldnt be a problem if the vehicles werent so clunky to drive, whenever im in a rhino with mah posthuman dudes i dont feel like a bunch of SM/CSM but more like a bunch of circusclowns stuffed in one of them clowncars with the Benny Hill themesong running in the background. The direction/priority of development doesnt seem to be focussed and the clock keeps doing tick tock.
Harkus getting dislike is because of its poor performance (lag, FPS drop), the map design itself is fine, a lot of people liked it when it first came out and was playable, now it freezes all the time, which is why the players avoid it. The vehicles have improved a lot, driving a Rhino or a Pred these days is a much better experience than it was just a few patches ago. Are you seriously denying such obvious improvement? The turrets are still bugged but overall it's getting better. You want bigger maps yet you complain that big map is too big to fight on? I don't get that at all. The capping point location shouldn't be the reason why a part of the map is unused, the players should learn to utilize those empty spaces. Torias central zone offers a lot advantages for capping C, it's just that people like to follow the herd mentality and just use the road instead.
the 16x16km map is supposed to be pve and pvp so it's not empty. it's probally going to be something similar to darkness fall in Daoc.
Funny because MoN wasn't OP. I wasn't even using Autocannon. You are just showing the signs of crying and unnecessary whining to nerf things that aren't broken that I mentoined that you were and FURTHER digging your own grave. Really I don't need to even reply to prove you wrong. You do it for yourself Also the fact that you insult my signature is the most sad thing ever. I never had even the worst enemy do it and that just shows that you don't know what to do and you worry too much about what people think about you and just want to ensure yourself that you are doing something good against me. Sad.
