anyway, I just left a negative review, i dunno what these clowns at BHVR are sniffing, but this runs like SHIT on my commodore 64.
dont even get me started on how many cassettetapes i needed to get the game running.

  5. I think if you posted that on the STEAM forums all you would get are "What's a Commodore 64?" and "What's a cassette?".

EDIT: Strike that about the Commodore, you'd probably get people asking what the Nintendo console from when they were 5 has to do with anything.

Yes. I don't think any early access game should have reviews. Most of the time you get people that don't understand how EA works or your get a bunch of negative reviews where the majority have only played for 2-5 hrs. give me a break, you cant make a legitimate review on such sort time. not to mention the steam community is a toxic petri dish of negativity.

  9. Well I hope they never take your advice. Reviews are important for people who dont want to throw their money away. Discussion is important to make informed decisions. If the community wants to rant because they feel the game is in a weak state, its not a die hard fan's job to boo down all the negativity. It's the developers job to address the problems to appeal to the customers they are losing from poor decision making.

If you were not leagally allowed to voice your opinion then companies would take the easy, lazy, dangerous route of keeping their games in "early access" right up until launch, in the hopes of garnering the most money they could before the public became wise to their decisions.

2 hours is not enough time to judge a game like this, but guess what? Steam does not give you a 2 day refund window. So they do what they can, get their money back, and warn others about what turned them off in such a short amount of time. And with enough negative reviews pointing at key issues, the developers can hone in on what the people think is "not fun" and fix it. Just like they came to the decision by themselves that somehow open world would be "not fun" (aka hard) and removed that goal until an unspecified later date (read: never).

You disparage negative reviews too much. The TRULY negative review is the guy who buys the game, thinks it sucks, and gets his money back without any kind of helpful feedback or warnings for other like minded individuals. Mabye he was looking for a specific aspect to the game that was not there, and he could have let others know. Now they won't, and they will have to leave their own feedback, and the developers have nothing to review, just a charge back notice that helps nobody.

Dont take negative reviews personally. You may like the game, it may be your PERFECT game as is, but you are not developing it, and you do not represent the whole community. Better now that too late, when it launches flawed and un-fun, and your time investment and money investment goes poof when they shut the servers down 2 years later.
