EVE is a lot larger than EC will be and the devs there have no problem collecting the info and churning out stories about the players
Right I was just saying that some times the smaller battles mean more the large ones but get less attention than they should.
Something along those lines would be kind of cool, though I don't know what sort of schedule would work well for them. We're going to have to fudge the casualty reports a bit though, or conveniently leave them out.
It will be easy to find good fights in EC, campaign objectives and facilities that give big benefits will have huge fights.
If this idea were to be adopted, how often would people like to see it? I think once a fortnight would be a reasonable time scale, these reports don't always have to focus on big battles. The PlanetSide 2 news reports focus on groups and tactics as well as big engagements. If a big fight can't be found then a strike force focus could be made instead.
I would like a big video once per campaign, showing the how factions lose or capture campaign objectives, i think it will be the best advertisement EC could have, real people in huge fights. If you add some kind of roleplay narrative it will be even more awesome.
