The Iron Wolves Who are the Iron Wolves? The Wolves are a band of brothers, friends from Australia and all long-time fans of 40k, with a combined experience total of over 50 years. Several of us have fought alongside each other in SCA wars and all of us are proven commanders in various pursuits. We’ve come together for Eternal Crusade to stretch our collective skills and gaming abilities somewhat and have formed the Iron Wolves, and we invite you to become a part of this. Organisation: Command Squad: Wolf Lord: Me Overall commander and director of the Wolves. Battle leader: The 2iC of the Strike Force, should the Wolf Lord not be around, he leads. Wolf Guard: These are veterans of the Company who have distinguished themselves in combat, 4 will be permanent members of the Command Squad the other 4 will be rotating members, as a reward for outstanding service within the Company warriors may be elevated to serve in the Wolf Guard for a time, once you return to your normal Squad however make no mistake you are still a Wolf Guard. 4x Tactical Squads/Grey Hunter Packs: Our back bone, the ones we call on to hold the line in big battles and grab objectives, team work ability is key here. 2x Assault Squads: Close combat specialists for rapid strike/hit and run/Disruption missions often behind enemy lines, a job for the psychos amongst us. 2x Devastator Squads/ Long Fang Pack: Heavy Weapons, our artillery guys who stand back and destroy tanks and infantry alike, will also contain our tank commanders, need leaders with good communication skills for this role, ready to take orders quickly and efficiently. Recruit Squad: The final squad on our roster will work similarly to the Scout Company of other Chapters, in essence this is where our new recruits will learn to fight, likely by grinding through Tyranids and small scale engagements before graduating to one of the above squads. The Pack Leader of this unit is a rotating roster, so veterans should be prepared to be called upon to fill this position for a time. What do the Iron Wolves Do? We fight. It’s pretty simple, we exist to make sure the Space Marines win the Campaign; at least that’s the goal. We’re a really big Wolf Pack, a family that will bite big chunks out of the enemy. Anything other than the fighting? Once a month we will hold a Strike Force meeting on our Cruiser, part of it will be in Character for our Roleplayers and a good portion out of character for everyone, the purpose of the meeting is to get to know new members and introduce them to the company as a whole as well as to discuss the war effort and hear opinions on how things are progressing and for officers to report on individual activities, this will also be the platform for all members to be heard if they have an issue. ~ Wolf Lord Brian Thunderfist
