Once again I took a semi-failed project and well... Overhauled it! It is so 'good' that I actually belief it can run either Governor or Chapter Master stuff. Also this thread will be purely for voting, while the results are posted on another thread. I would do PMs but that would limit us to 15 players and keep everything private, it's more fun this way. But I figured one problem was that sometimes between two rounds there is like 3-5 pages of non-game related stuff or just discussions rather than what is going on, making it hard to keep an overview of the events. Obviously you also can vote AGAINST things (which I kinda did not mention before) but I didn't think of it because I had at the start only like 3 ppl anticipated and there you usually just go with whatever has most votes, but to make this more interesting I also came up with a new voting system: Every player gets 1 vote per category (exceept it says otherwise like "Multiple Choice! You can make up to 2 votes, the 2 items with highest votes will be executed" or something like that). Additional to that PER ROUND, aka: NOT per category, every player can vote against 1 thing, which then gets basically a vote blacked out. So for example: Spoiler: Example Category A - First Name: 1 - Sebastian 2 - Gregory 3 - Charles 4 - Stevan Category B - Last Name: 1 - Eisenhaut 2 - Pupavac 3 - Carter 4 - Griffin Category C - Past / Childhood: 1 - Poor boy who stole of others to survive 2 - Mid-Economy; had good childhood but not spoiled 3 - Snob; had everything he wanted and more - always got whatever he wanted Every player has 1 vote per category. Let us assume this happens: Player 1: A2, B2, C2; -A1 Player 2: A1, B1, C1; - A3 Player 3: A3, B1, C2; -B2 => End Results: A1 - 0 Votes ; B1 - 2 Votes ; C1 - 1 Vote A2 - 1 Vote ; B2 - 0 Votes ; C2 - 2 Votes A3 - 0 Votes ; B3 - 0 Votes; C3 - 0 votes => Those in Bold will be executed. This will make stuff more interesting as it not just allows the masses to vote for what to do.... But also to declare what is a 'big no no'. After all a conscience (that you are playing here) does not just work off what to do, but also what not to do therefor it even gives a slight hint of immersion Now to the real deal. Since this works for both Space Marine Chapter Master as well as Imperial Governor... We shall vote on what we do. Just keep in mind there is no Minus Voting here because it's only one Category xD Addendum: Additional I will wait for 75% (round down) of ALL players before casting votes. So if we got 10 players at one point I will wait till we got 7 people having made votes before casting them. if we have 7 players, then I will wait until votes of 5 people, and so on. I'll vote Chapter Master, flying around as a SPEHSS MEHRINE might be funner than sitting on one planet.
You still could be sitting around in your chapter monastery and not even lift your finger.... After all look at Calgar, he only deploys whenever Macragge is in danger. Also if you would go military-governor you also would have more field action. And Space Marines usually do not fly much around except being Fleet-Based. Exception is of course nearby campaigns or an old friend comes by and asks. See Ultramarines & Mortifactors, 13th Black Crusade, 3rd War of Armageddon. Just saying
