Better it is to die a free warrior than a comfortable slave. Glad you liked it, not me singing though
HA! Sorry, you mean to tell me the Eldar who can openly leave their ilk to lead a life throughout the stars, who can leave their home to become a corsair, who can stay and protect all they know, who can spend their life as a dreamer, a leader, a painter, an artisan, an aide, a seer, a warrior or none of the above, and always be welcomed home as kin is a slave compared to a Tau who is threatened with 're-education' should they veer from their predetermined Caste or the Greater Good?! You want to bring us 'freedom'? Don't do us any favors. (As a joking aside, you're a free "man"? Now you're human? What is this!?!)
I assumed from his avatar and previous statements that he is a Wraithlord, which,as such, pretty much deprives him of luch liberties you mentioned unless im mistaken. I never presumed to "bring freedom" to such an ancient race.I respect your ways, not only by principle, but by observation. Also, the only reason our society is so strict is because we cant allow ourselves to return to Mont'Au,as im sure you understand. Its for a greater good, its for The Greater Good. Besides, the members of the castes have little reason to deviate from them, seeing how they are born with their bodies and minds alrady attuned to them. (Regarding the quote, dont blame me,its from DOW,and if Shas'O Kais considers himself a man,i guess we can let him say so)
I merely don't want you thinking we are so barbaric as to leash our ancestors. The aide of the fallen and the imbuement of their soul into a Wraithlord is not forced, it is requested, and they are often willing to help their children. The dead are free to roam the Infinity Circuit and commune with both dead and living Eldar, though their restrictions do not exist because of societal reasoning but more because souls are quite limited in their actions without a body. We can still give them one made of Wraithbone should they choose, but generally we leave them in the Circuit so they can freely commune with their kin. However, we do not take such necromancy lightly. We do it with the utmost respects for our ancestors and we request their assistance sparingly.
you are gravely mistaken. I came back of my own accord, and I have the freedom to visit who I wish, give council to those I choose, and I most certainly have the freedom to choose which fire warrior I kill first.
"Seeing virtue in idiocy is the prerogative of the young." Oh Taldeer, I miss you. Loftn does as well.
