  1. Guys STFU, read the past threads, every single line you are wastin you time typin is literally split into 3 ancient threads. then summed up again in 5 more. literally i seen this to many times over.

IG are not in Game yet, IFF IG are made a faction in the future bring up debates again. Theres 2 more factions that are promised and sworn to be in EC before anything else and are not even in. then there other hostile Xenos everyone hates. After we can add buddy systems. Crying like this or stupidly fighting will not do anything in the slightest for the Devs to consider this that the other Older threads did not.

WHEN even the People who made the old IG threads complain theres to many IG threads its a time to stop

I'm just stating the facts, it's not my fault you don't like them. The developers have never outright ruled out the Imperial Guard, they have only pushed their eventual implementation down the road. Much like they did with the open world, the Orks, and the Eldar.

Is it possible that all of those "laters" could become "nevers" due to the game's development failing, leaving us with nothing more than a hollow copy of Space Marine multiplayer? It's possible. But let's be honest here, that would suck. You're not doing anyone any favors by pretending that's what we should aspire for the game to be.

Fixing the problems Space Marines cause would obviously be preferable to removing them outright. The reason for the proposition is to point out that as long as we're banning factions for "not following lore", there is no faction whose removal would solve more lore problems than the Space Marines.

I'm mostly fed up with certain people's entire argument being either "I got mine, screw everyone else" or "but muh spiritual liege!" Those kinds of responses are completely unhelpful and contribute nothing to the thread. If they want the full Matt Ward experience for their space marine, they can go play a singleplayer game.

I get enough of that "I got mine" attitude from Clanners in BattleTech.

if there would be marketresearch and feedback that proved IG would be preferred over SM, id stand corrected in a minute.
But secretly we all know that isnt true.
My avatar should have given a hint im not even going to play SM in the first place.
(unfortunately) everyone thinks the SM are superkewl and badass, and they will be the main attraction for casual gamers.
also the main point is, IG isnt even close to being relevant at this time.

They still need to be more numerous than Space Marines to beat them. Which can only be solved by either somehow being more popular, or having AI controlled squadmates, which is a big no no for a game that plans to be this large. Say, 10 guardsmen for each player to command. In a 200 player battle, the Imperial Guard side has 100 players and 1000 squadmates with AI good enough that they can actually adapt to a combat situation for the server AND everyone's computers to process.

I am aware that Imperial Factions do occasionally fight, but I was unaware that Imperial Guard Regiments could end up fighting 5 major first founding chapters when they are fighting the in same Crusade together against Abbadon. Especially since Space Wolves get along well with regular humans I.e guardsmen.
