The emperor has forsaken us!

  1. Yeah.... keep dreaming about the Eldar controlled map.

THE SPACE WOLVES WILL CLEANSE ARKHONA OF XENOS AND HERETICS ALIKE!
  2. I would really love to see the result of the map going one color, for the in-game events. What does the victorious faction win?

clarification: we have our own TS, we were there and we bathed in the blood of emperor's lapdogs, also Scions of Magnus were there too. :D

  3. I'm sorry pup, but I believe all the unarmed civilians are having a gathering on the ruins of Prospero, perhaps you can try there.
Ah, yes I recall seeing you guys in game, but the groups I listed were in our TS.

Sounds like it was just a slaughterific night all around.

  4. This is completely true. The average Loyalist is TOTALLY UNAWARE of what's happening around them. For *cough* experimentation *cough* I rolled a chaos character yesterday.

We were on Torias with Chaos defending. It was an all out zerg fest of Loyalists for point A. I hopped down over the cliff side as a MoN. I proceeded to run down the death funnel hacking up every Loyalist in my path with never ending numbers before me because they had 4 rhinos at the bottom. I made it all the way down to the rhinos and continued the massacre only getting shot by about 2-3 different people the entire time.

It took about 3 minutes for people to actually start focusing me. I had 34 kills before I died for the first time.... I ended the game 64-3.

WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE?! This is why we always lose as Loyalists right now. Yes, the MoN is very strong at the moment, but they aren't unkillable, even in melee. The problem is, for some reason, the average LSM is oblivious to their surroundings, bad at melee, or both. I don't understand why.

Even I'm gunning down a lot of people as a Traitor these days, and that's a bad sign.

  6. Lol. Seriously though this is a problem with LSM that I would like to point on and try to fix.
I look at my mini-map probably every 2-3 seconds. This is key. If you see a bunch of yellow X's popping up, everyone around you is dying, you should probably start scanning the area. On that same note, if the X is still yellow, THAT TEAMMATE CAN BE PICKED UP(I'm looking at you apothecaries that are totally oblivious to teammates groveling at your feet begging for a jab in the jugular of your magic needle).

On the topic of the current state of the map, a lot of you Chaos players seem to think that nothing is unbalanced here. Before MoNs got buffed (and I do agree they did need some sort of a buff) and shields were "OP AS FUCK" the Loyalists BARELY controlled over half the map. It was 60/40 at most. Now it's 95/5 in favor of Chaos, but it's all balanced right? Lol.

The thing that many of you fail to see is that MoNs can capture points, Ground Assaults cannot. Obviously the MoN is an upgraded version of the Traitor class and the Ground Assault is not a form of the tactical, you just traded your jump pack for a shield, and all of this makes sense. HOWEVER, with the ability to capture points AND being as strong as it is, is nuts. Sure the shield was incredibly strong before, but that's all they got.

We have a 10v10 match. 5 tactical and 5 GA's against 5 traitors and 5 MoNs. If our 5 tacticals die in the fight, but the GA's pull out the win, we cannot capture the point. If any of you 10 Chaos survive, the point is yours.

"OH BUT THE SHIELD! IT'S SO STRONG AND RENDERS BOLTERS USELESS!" So what? Not everybody should be running the same weapons. You need composition to win. Unless you are Chaos. If you had a team of 30 MoNs, you could EASILY win. We cant spam 30 tacticals, they would get destroyed. We can't spam 30 GA's, they can't capture any points.

A lot of Chaos say it's not worth the trade to not get a shield over taking points. K/D doesn't mean shit if you aren't controlling objectives. Objectives win games and all the points are in close quarters. MoN is king. End of story.

  7. This is the real problem there. I think a week ago on this forum a LSM player cried about the game not having a mini map and in-game voice com system. But they are already there... he just didnt bother to notice that.

Or another example of early access flood, said on global chat by a LSM player: "Seriously this game is sh**, I just bought it, and I am plying for like 15 minutes and died 1000 times." - taken from memory so may be bit changed but you got what I mean.

also this guy dropped this gem: "Sons of Lorgar are a punch of noobs!", he probably meant "a bunch of", and was totally wrong either way.

So TL,DR: LSM problem is not the unbalancing of Chaos, but this part of player base that is immature and whining all over the place. This kind of people loose the games to Chaos and as a result of that we get the map painted red.

    huge exaggeration

I do agree that playerbase is a factor in this problem. Bu it is not like suddenly after the last patch hundreds of whiny kids bought the game and logged in as SM at the same time.

Chaos are stronger than SM now, I don't know if it is MoN or not, but something is clearly wrong, before whether SM wins or loses, most of the time it is a nice and fun close game. Now? SM gets obliterated.

You see around 3-4 shieldbro max on SM team (nobody wants to play a class that requires skill and doesnt cap)

While on Chaos teams, you 10-12 Traitors (MoN) and Jetpack assaults then very few tacticals

Sometimes things look small on paper, but in reality they cause a drastic change in the game.

  9. That is just sad.

That is the problem is that a lot of people don't understand exactly what EARLY ACCESS and ALPHA mean.

Yet this didn't happen until after the shield got knocked down a few notches and the MoN got a MAJOR buff?

    which part?
  10. BloodXIII Jolojose First Blood!

While I do agree LSM does unfortunately draw alot of "Call of Duty" type players, I don't think we should completely ignore the fact that the MoN is OP. Hooligan Fish brought up a great point.

It seriously is impossible to cap points. A single MoN can defend a point from 4-5 tacticals. And if by some miracle the tacticals win 2-3 MoNs will flood the tiny room and massacre everyone and their mothers.
