Good luck to you too ! Hum, an Ork help me (Yes, it's possible!) and my father (A brave...). ¤¤¤ Bonne chance à toi aussi ! Hum, un Ork m'aide (Mais si, c'est possible !), ainsi que mon père (Un brave...).
I had meant to quote the other guy who had corrected me and said that it is spelled Graham McNeil, and tell him that it's actually spelled Graham McNeill. EDIT: Why can't I quote someone? Is it not just the reply at the bottom of their post?
I'm thinking of going and starting a new google doc and just start writing and then make it public so people can see the writing progress and give me suggestions while I'm writing. However there is that worry of it being ripped off, but it seems like an interesting idea.
I think we are all fair enough to not rip off. Or just share with those people who you trust or already sent their entry ^^
First of all I hope this Quote thing works. Second, I'll eat lunch and then post the google doc, also does anyone else listen to music while they write? If so what do you listen to? EDIT: Well the Quote thing didn't work xD https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c_HuGOU1fO4Gtzyhpgin8xF4CN8OIgisHG0Y9GYaWOs/edit?usp=sharing and that it the doc i'll be working on.
I listen while writing only for specific reasons, i.e. capturing the feel and lyrics of the song in a particular story. Other than that I usually write without music or so, to let my thoughts create what I write in my head. Idk how many others do it but usually if I read and write, I try to imagine I would be there in the same view as the point of view from which I tell and look at all that is happening, that is around me. And then I write down what I want my reader to notice, what I think s/he sees or how it should seem to s/he, etc. It is like if you remember certain events. You cannot grasp everything, but only the most important things. And that is how I engage in writing. I try to write just like whomever I write as (be it a certain character, the person that tells the story / 3rd person, etc.) and catch the same details as the person would if they would be real.
I usually listen to epic music and soundtracks, with no lyrics or words (which is entirely distracting while one writes). That kind of music really stimulates my imagination and takes my mind to the world of the story I am crafting.
