The deamons was amongst them, though they where slaying the orks, The Dreaded one did not trust them to get too close to him, so he kept his guard up, and there was still many orks to be slain these deamons would not win the battle nor the war alone, the orks had yet to use their armor and big cannons and everyone knew that was where they where the most dangerus. As they had begun their advance, spearheaded by the deamons, he saw the sprinting plaque marine, what a strange sight indeed.
Udius narrowed his eyes and made sure to stay away from the Daemon flood. Several times Daemonettes and Nurglites glanced at him and he wished to stab his Power Sword into them.... But not yet.... Byrn as instructed prior to mission closed his eyes, for Udius ordered him to not even glance at the Daemons, he is too weak at the moment and only one look can corrupt a man completely. Yet it was not fear that radiated Byrn Gallenheim, he was simply.... Obedient... A good student indeed and potential Right Hand, once the rise to power would begin for the Havoc. His eyes went over to Vandias. Such a fool, making a pact with Daemons.... One day he will fall to the hand of Udius and then will be usurped by the very Havoc that was recruited into his ranks. Either making a path through the Red Corsairs or making his own Warband.... But Vandias is a good tool indeed. The attention to the battle at hand came again and Udius holstered his Auto cannon and grabbed Byrn, moving with him on top of the building to assume better firing position and stay away from the Daemons.
Atlas could hear the demons as they passed him the whsipers of daemonnetes, the roar of the blood letters, The rotting of the nurgleites, and the sound of the pink horrors. Atlas kept firing no matter what he heard he pushed forward into cover. As atlas took cover he quickly reloaded his bolter.
OOC sorry guys, I know that my posting is suffering horrendously throughout the forum, and it will continue to do so until Thursday\Friday, once all of my obligations are done. Sorry for this. As the thin veil of reality was torn asunder and a great host of Warp denizens ventured forward, Karg-zar screamed with joy. To be washed again in the great power of Immaterium and watch first-hand how the enemies of the Dark Gods fall beneath him was joyful, to say at least. The Daemon, joined with his "kinsmen", pushed forward into the mass of Orks, killing with each step and driving the Greenskins backward. One Deff Dread tried to barge their way, but it was quickly overrun with the sheer amount of Daemons pushing it. It tried to defend itself, swathing many creatures aside, but it was brought to a quick end with one great strike of the Karg-zar's cursed hammer. "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" Karg-zar cried and they slowly, but surely, turned the tides of war in their favor.
''Daemons of Chaos, purge this world!'' Vandias commanded. Whether the daemons truly obeyed any mortal's word was anyone's guess, but these creatures were bloodthirsty and the Orks would satiate their needs. ''Vandias to the Benediction, drop in my reinforcements, we're pushing out now!''
OOC: No idea what to post, too much mindless slaughter and not enough player interaction lol ; worse than my DW XD
Upon the higher position, Udius stood in front of Byrn who was still fighting the madness around, at least he had not looked yet upon a daemon which would give him the requirement to go through this with least amount of damage, mental and physical alike. The former Son of Guilliman on the other hand just stood there with his Autocannon, not even firing anymore as he watched the different hordes of Daemons falling all over the Xenos. But this was not one of the 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' scenario. This time, it had been just two great enemies and it made Udius angry that he could not slay them all. To be only as strong as he is and not enough to defeat them all. Yet he knew to control his emotions, for now it was not just a mental leashing out at Udius soul anymore. This time the chaos gods had the tools to affect him physically too, but he would not grant that. Knowing his Autocannon would render useless he pulled the Power Sword out and Bolt Pistol in the other hand in case any Daemon would be stupid enough to sneak upon him or his servant Gallenheim. Not to forget that there was no glory in this fight. It was just one horde against another, a slaughter, not even a fight. A fight would be hard, even competitive and difficult to win, with stratagems, skill and strength... Not just with a sheer horde and raw power. It could had been Tyranids against Orks so much he cared for the fight would go the same way. Slaughter, blood, limbs. No finesse, no training, no glory. Even Guilliman would spit upon such scenario, for it was a shame to rely on daemons and other fiends. But it was a good lesson to him, for when Vandias' fall would come, Udius would know that he would pull every cheap trick out of his helmet he would be able to. Know yourself and your Enemy and you will win every battle, so did the Codex Astartes state, so shall it happen.
The Maggot-Kin were in the thick of it and relishing every opportunity to let infected blood flow. Orghast looked up toward the sky and could make out the coming drop pods bearing more of their brethren into the fight, scoffing as he kicked an Ork's leg out and jammed his knife tipped stub limb down his open maw. "They come to steal offerings from Nurgle brothers. "Gasp and wheeze were followed by a grunt as Kordius pushed him aside, a Horror's warp flame arcing through the space he had previously occupied. "Thank you brother...now SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!" Gelon's heavy bolter roared a joyous song of slaughter as here in the dense pack of bodies it could rip apart Ork's with ease, several daemons were caught in the barrage as well but there were more where that came from! Orghast made a point of holding his ground in the fight till the offending Horror of Tzeentch came near enough for him to rend it's flesh, leaving the Changer of Way's aspect to collapse in a rotting heap that sadly his flies couldn't touch. Kordius swung his bolt gun about violently, smashing back a pair of Stormboyz before he planted a shot in each head, the Greenskins looked toward him with gaping holes in their faces shortly before pressing in to counter attack, the bolts detonated a second later blowing off their heads in messy fashion.
