Orghast and Kordius came to an immediate halt, taking a single back step toward each other and letting their bolters speak death, now was not the time for glory, not while their mission was still in such a fragile state without their warp spawned allies. Gelon ran forward to join them, ramming his heavy weapons plague knife bayonet through an Ork Stormboy and casting his rotting corpse aside. Set up in a defensible pyramid formation they opened fire at will, rotating positions in smooth steps to redeploy their fire power where it was needed. Kordius and Orghast focused on the scattered enemy troops trying to close in while Gelon shot down densely packed hordes. Kordius lined up the iron sights of his gun with several roof top bound Shootahs and opened fire, short controlled burst of three shots popping the heads off of four before his bolter clip ran dry and needed replacing, in the interim a Slugga closed the gap, a shot from the bestial greenskins snub nosed pistol smacking the clip from his hand before his over-sized cleaver hacked into the Plague Marine's stomach. Orghast spun around to pulp his face with a point blank round from his corrupted bolter, kicking the corpse to the ground the body began to shrivel up, those spores the body released touch by one of Nurgle's blessed viruses that would make sure none of them matured. Gelon braced himself and overlapped fields of fire with the Havoc for maximum effect, three more Stormboyz reaped by his weapon as the explosive bolts blew apart their bodies or detonated unstable rokkit packs.More slugga boys closed the gap to silence the weapon, Choppas and sluggas tearing chunks from his flesh or shattering corroded pieces of armor. Once more Orghast operated as a support role to protect his brother and drove his plague knife into the back of one Slugga boys head while using his bolter one handed to pop two shots into another stomach, the Ork collapsed howling in pain as his organs liquified and his fingers pierced through the dieing flesh covering his body. Ooc: sorry no way im gonna start counting. Ic: The Dreaded one stabbed the stormboy who had landed beside him in the head with his cutlass, the neck might be their weakpoint, but he did not wield a normal weapon, he then took up his gun and shot another stormboy at close range. This melee was a bit our of control, nothing they couldent handle though. As the melee was around him and he dispached another stormboy by evading its blow and then cutting off its arms before kicking it away, it wasent dead ofcause. He then let out a loud shriek (ooc: alike a nazgul) while moving forward to stab the ork in the head.
Atlas quickly drew his forceblade as his sword met a strombody's killing him quickly. Atlas raised his bolter 2 other firing his inferno rounds into 2 very unlucky orks that where lit a flame as they ran at him. Atlas raised his force sword quickly kill one of them as the other got a hit on him with its choppa. Atlas Roared and used hs psyopower's to electrute the ork to death. Atlas began casting Chains of torrments as chains began coming out of the ground and wrapping around ork leg's that where in range.
OOC one crazy move coming up Stormboys shouted vile curses and propelled themselves high with their rocket backpacks. Karg-zar growled and decided to meet them head on and show them who is the real terror of the skies here. He flew up and went for the one of the Orks who just reached his highest altitude. In the moment when he was slowest, right before the descend, the Daemon flew straight into his path and using the momentum, hit the Greenskin square in the chest with his thunder hammer, power of the blow sending the creature flying towards its death two dozen meters away. Karg-zar dropped into the melee, right on the head of one Slugga, who tried to defend himself by pulling up his choppa in an attempt to parry Daemon's weapon. Karg-zar grinned as the gravity was on his side now and the blow of his hammer completely reduced the unlucky Ork to a pulp. The sheer display of might made other Orks turn around and face the new threat in their midst and which fueled Khornate Daemon's rage even more. "LET ME TASTE YOUR BLOOD GREENSKINS!" he roared as he rammed one Stormboy, breaking his both legs and then parrying a blow from another. With a riposte he broke the creatures neck and with a follow up strike, he finished the crippled one, bashing his skull and brain all over the place. The closest Slugga jumped towards him from behind, but the Daemon used his wings to give him speed as he swung his hammer around, meeting the Slugga with its power field and destroying the Greenskin's upper body in a shower of blood.
