Well many of us questions that all that feedback from forum is ever mentioned. What the community manager is doing? I haven`t seen her in any thread to say something like "we are working on it, problem you are discussing is well known and we plan to do this or that".
I still fink dat RTC weapons shuuld jus' be skins dat get put inta' dere own loadout slot. Dat way any weapon o' dat kind ye get can 'ave dat skin applied ta' it, in th' same manna' ye add on a muzzle and wot not. Thus whetha' er not th' weapon still be viable late game be renda'd irrelevant, as it'd jus' be a free mod slot
Purchasing a game then paying (again) for cosmetics is a shithouse idea. You buy cosmetics and things like that in F2P games, not fully developed buy-to-play. The store was *always* a bad idea.
I think she may be on a sodium-free diet until things settle down a bit. I used to make 3rd party mods for games in the past and I know from personal experience that dealing with a lot of whiny and entitled brats can really wear you down.... of-course I wasn't getting paid for it. They do read the threads but I get the impression that there's not much that they could do or say here that wouldn't just be like throwing gas on the fire if that's the intention or not.
The thing is with this store is that despite the fact that it's insanely expensive, the products on offer aren't even worth the cost to begin with. A lot of them are quite uninspired i feel, and even then they feel as if they're the only way to get your factions "look" anyway. Like, the default chaos bolter looks exactly the same as the loyalist one. If you want a proper chaos bolter you either use the preorder one or buy a proper chaos looking one for $10. Same with the helmet options for night lords, you have to buy your factions signature look? And the list goes on with the aquila torsos for the marines. Point is, if we're going to pay so much, AT LEAST make it worth it. $10 for an entire armour skin (as in all slots unique) is fine i suppose. But other than that is pretty... well... no.
Tell that to Ubisoft, EA, Blizzard and all the other game publishers out there now. Oh, wait... if you do that, then they ban you from their games and you have to be able to play their games, so they have you. They all do that, put out half finished stuff with cash shops. It works to make them money and that is all that matters. Oh, wait... anything by Ubisoft or EA would be pretty when put out half finished, so that is so much better.
So, what you're saying is we should be happy with something shitty only because other companies also had something like that? Nice philosophy; this product stinks...but my friend's one stinks even more, so that's ok - I don't buy it.
No, that is not what I say. I am not happy with the game as it is. But I DO see it getting better as opposed to a finished piece of Ubisoft crap that might or might not work half the time. I have seen the game getting better since I joined. I also do not see silence or willing deception on the part of the devs. We want the answers NOW, but they may not have them. Or they may not be able to speak them for whatever reason. Contrary to popular opinion, the devs do NOT control the company that is publishing the game. But you blame them for everything as is they were, because they are handy. You seem to see conspiracy, deception and evil in everything they do. I don't. I don't think they are perfect and OMG they make mistakes. But so do you.
Yes, a studio that has never made such a game before has to have everything perfect the very first time. Your opinion is noted. Not all share it.
