"Hey up here!" Felana said to the escapee coming down slowly, "looks Lille you are quite lucky today since we found you and are no allies of the cadians." Felana said as she reached the bottom intent on finding out who the escape was and if they were injurred. "Did you get injured during your escape? We could see you running up here from the trench's bound and decided to see if you needed some help taking on the cadians" asked and said coming behind Luiralle. Felana's visor and helmet both black not showing any of her own features but it was a bit obvious from her voice she was a women.
Kombous wanted to yell over the boulder that if they're so brave why didn't they come over to get him, the clink nearby stopped him, making the krieger look what caused that while hopping it wasn't another frag grenade tossed by the cadians. To his surprise, it was a knife, a weird looking knife, but a knife none the less! "I rolled a seven!" he said, his earlier knuckle bone analogy still on his mind. turning around to grab it and cut the rope, not even questioning it were it came from. Once he was free, he briefly wondered if he could take them on with it, if they came after him. But that too was answered by noise, and then bright lights hitting the guardsmen, bright blue balls of energy he would swore was plasma and familiar red of a lasgun. And then rocks? He wasn't quiet sure about why rocks were flying through the air too. But what took the cake for the renegade guardsmen was when the earth almost tried to eat them....like it would if there were raveners around. But it disappeared and so did his fear, along with the last two of the cadians, leaving only the bodies. 'The bodies that have my stuff!' he thought to himself happily, hopping from behind his boulder and to the corpses, the events of earlier already forgotten for the moment. It wasn't hard to find what was his, his stuff was dull colored or black compared to the cadian uniforms, picking up his gasmask and securing the skull plated thing back onto his face along with the respirator unit, making him looking like a proper Krieger again, before picking up the a dull metallic grey bolt pistol, his combat knife, a weathered chainsword with the paint chipping off and some of the teeth rusting, and then his pride and joy. A flamer unit in black chipped paint, the name 'kombouse' scratched into one side to mark it as his, the tip almost completely blackened from use. "Shelia! I'm so sorry they touched you! Please tell me you still work!" he said to it as if it was alive as he turned on the igniter, getting a satisfying blue flame coming from it. "YES!" he proclaimed to no one in particular. Reality set back in as he had to wonder where those bolts of energy come from. Once more, a noise answered him, this time from a woman with dark red hair who wore what looked like a weird set of carapace armor and a odd lasgun. He heard a lot of words and names, but a lot of it didn't make sense to him. She seemed nice though and he was sure they were the ones who saved him too. In fact he was already next to him rather very quickly, making him jump a little. He never really say anything that fast....that was human at least. @Uriel1339 "I'm Grenadier number 88-52492-b" he said with a quick salute out of reflex to Lurielle as he introduced himself to her and the rest of them. "But most call me Kombous, they say that's easier for some reason." he mentioned too, knowing some people found his actual name to be too long to use somehow. "I...I really don't know most of what you said...cadre leader? Dark Eldar? Kroot? And Queen Ereshkigal? That's a hard name." he asked, honestly knowing none of that, he never seen or heard of them before. Then the one who looked like a medic asked him questions, mostly medicy questions. @Vulpas "I am fine ma'am, but thank you all for helping me, even if I don't know anyone here." He offered his thanks. 'Wow, they were all talking to me, like I'm just another trooper. And they saved me, maybe the gods aren't that bad afterall.' he thought to himself with a huge smile under his mask at the sudden change of fortune.
@BuriasDempsey | @Vulpas "Ohhh you must be under shellshock or something, sorry!" Lurielle facepalmed herself, holding the gun with one hand, pointing towards the ground and extending her other to the man. "I am Lurielle." She said slower, softer, still a wide smile and loud enough to ring over the noise of war. "Dark Eldar is a species of Alien. Pointy ears, pale skin. Kroot are other aliens, bi-pedal birds. But don't call them birds. Queen Ereshkigal - you will get used to the name. Compass... Composte... Com-bus? .... Ko-ko-kombosse? Kombous? Yeah that was it! Kombous!" Lurielle fought with his name, trying it eagerly until getting it right and then beaming from cheek to cheek. "Lena! Let's get him back to cover!" She grabbed the arm of the soldier before her and started dragging him back up the hill.
@Uriel1339 "But, but I am fin-eeee!" he said as he was now being dragged while talking, still wondering about the aliens she was talking about, realizing one was with them. It was a good think he turned off the pilot light before talking to Luirelle too. @Maleth "Oh, that's a Dark Eldar? Doesn't look all that dark to me." he said as he tried to keep up with her, noting the paleness that was much like own actually as they past the lady alien by. "What are you all guys doing here? I thought it was only those Word Marines here attacking?" He asked, curious were his rescuers had come from. "Does this mean I'm part of this squad now?" he also asked, his hopefulness practically bleeding into his voice at the idea.
Tyresius pondered, "Suppose they do need their sustenance when the opportunity presents itself." The plague marine turned to his tzeentchian companion. (@TuskatheDaemonKilla ) "Well, the moment of surprise has passed it seems. Shall we?"
Malrak sat on his rock as he felt the strong presences of three individuals, those of strong will were of little concern to him as the bats could easily take care of the but the third one caused a mixture of great intrigue and concern. They were clearly a very powerful psyker possibly a battle psyker which was not good news in the slightest especially since there was a chance they had already detected his presence near by. Most, intriguing though was that this presence he was feeling was familiar to him in some way. A feeling he had not felt in years though he couldn't quite pin a talon on what was so familiar about it. But if he was sure of one thing it was that whoever this was is dangerous and it would be difficult for the team to handle on it's own. It was then the Nurglite(@seabass) spoke to him. "Hold a moment Tyresius. I sense a powerful psyker is within those walls and while I am confident in our abilities I feel it would be best to contact the others first." @everybodyelse (except @BuriasDempsey because he just got here) Malrak, seeing no need for the Nurglite's permission activated the vox device he had been given and contacted the rest of the group. "I have detected a powerful imperial psyker within the observation post. I request that you all move to assist me in eliminating them." His request sounded more like an order but his tone was quite serious making it very clear that the threat was quite real. After speaking into the vox he turned back to the Nurglite. "Now we may go." He said as he stood up from his seated position and took his staff into his hands.
@Jorimel "A psyker?" Vlad turned towards Satharn while trying to wipe the flies out of his visor, he was talking over the vox so as to be as quiet as possible (I read it in a book somewhere) "This could be trouble. Should we take 'em out?"
"Got it I will cover our rear as we are heading up." Felana said as she slowly ascended after Luriallre and there new tag along keeping her side arm out in case those cadians that escaped came back or alarmed any other squads through there own vox. As she reached the others and heard Malrak she could only frown under her helmet as she heard his news. "Think you can take them on Malrak and do you think they can sense us if so do you think its compromised Satharn's stealth attack or the possibility of them turning some of there guns on us?" Felana asked looking to him as she began thinking and readying for the battle and to help the squad from the rear.
The plague marine nodded before proceeding to move toward the outpost, bolter raised, and approach masked by the swarm of flies that grasped for food from the corpse worshipers. (@TuskatheDaemonKilla ) "So, a psyker is among the confines of this outpost. Perhaps whoever commands here was deemed too important to lose? Perhaps this place serves more than just a spotting position for artillery?"
Biting down the sudden pain of a cracked collerbone, Beowulf opted to wield his sword one handed, so that sudden jagged bone movement might not happen. After slashing across the gut of Crakis, it was clear that normally Beowulf would be having the upper hand, had it not been that his oponent obviusly had alot of blood to give off, but still, these kinds of wounds he had been inflicting had to start taking their toll soon, even against lobotomized berserker. "You wont call me a warrior, yet you fight like an enraged troll" Beowulf said before he launched a counter offensive, meeting the world eater aggression with his own savage ferocity. (OOC: All out attack)
