"Interesting Luriuelle were I am from genetic engineering was quite common in my life from food, to even some of thee people I served with and met not all of them were that bad that one would say they should be purged, though most of my teachings come from growing up on a imperial hive so I would I would never know what Tau Ethereal would think, though could I ask you Do you know and still follow thee teachings of the Ethereals and could you explain some of them to me like why the tau follow Etherals and are split into castes and how they ended up like they are?" Felana asked politely to Lurielle she decided to put a tidbit of information back in her head noting Lurielle would likely not like a few things about Felana that would go better unsaid.

"Follow their teachings? Nooooot exactly. But I think they were onto something. Like you know, work towards the greater good. Mix your own talents with those of others who can do what you cannot in order to be more effective and solve problems in a group effort, since alone you would fail. Or well, to let natural things be and not change them unless you know, they are deadly or have ill will towards you. The Tau try to live far more together in harmony, not just waltzing through whatever is before them like the Imperium. That's why my grandparents joined the greater good after the Damocles Crusade. And I guess that is why the Tau Empire consists of a dozen or so races, from the Demiurg over Kroot to the Vespid. This place kind of reminds me of the Tau Empire." She shrugged as she noted all the various characters at the table. Some of them were like day and night, such as Beowulf and Tyresius. Or even the fact that a Dark Eldar sat at this very same table. Surely this meant there were no Imperials here, because everyone knows Imperials kill all aliens at sight.

"Also that would be history and I do not wish to bore the other guests with that. Instead why don't you just come over to our room and we talk about it? I don't mind sharing my side of the story from my home, Lena." Lurielle offered with a smile.

  3. Malrak didn't ask any questions for the rest of the dinner as the voices continued to torment him. Even when he left the side of that corpse seated upon the golden throne they never stopped of course the cult said the can be listened to for guidance on occasion but when he made a mistake in anything they picked, proded, scratched and laughed in his mind punishing him for being foolish. It was maddening all Malrak could do was bear it until they grew bored but that could take hours. His attention was taken back into the material realm when Lurielle spoke.

He said nothing of course since in his current state his speech would sound rushed and manic. Which is not the way he wanted those around him to think of him so he simply listened. He wanted to know all he could about these Tau even if they did seem to be backward on their thinking. 'Why not advance in both ways?' He thought to hjmself 'why not bring technology up with their physical being and minds?' Just imagine the possibilities! Unless, they were unable to after all Lurielle seemed to be completely ignorant about the warp. These Tau creatures continued to intrigue him he must know more.

"Seems I will have to take you up on that offer, quite a I interesting perspective tau have and I think I can see why its not used if you already have the resources and the allies and those willing to fight for the greater good," Felana said it was somewhat a similar basis to a gang.

Fighting together for the greater good of the group except done on a greater level for a entire races and reminded her a bit of home with the hand she rembered seeing all kinds of faces humans, mutants, and even the rare xeno from time to time all working for there survival and a cause willng to bend some of there own rules and beliefs for there own goals from time to time usually staying or leaving after what they had obtained or running when things got to hot. Deciding to take a glass of wine she had some poured for her before taking a drink.
  5. "aye the wyrd have seen you lucky. and for what brings me here, it is my wyrd, i travel where it takes me. Though i am here, free from restraints seeking to control my saga, and nothing will stop me from creating my saga. for it has allready started long ago, this is just another step, so i hope you bring proper challenges Asmodeus, though such finery as this cant come cheap." Beowulf said, as he accepted the wine, its scent clearly spoke of it being more than just fermentet grapes, but it was nothing compared to the hair burning smell of mead, but still he drank it.

Asmodeus nodded with interest, "Come now, Tyresius, surely you have interesting tales of death and pestulants from your days with the Legion? I do love a tale of death and destruction with my meals."

Asmodeus nodded with a smile as he motioned for a slave to take away his plate and bring more wine. He then looked to Felana and spoke a very leading statement, "Well you do seem to know at least the basics of which you speak. So remind me to show you something very special in the lower decks when we have more free time." He smiled at her.

Asmodeus took more drinks of wine as he listen to Lurielle. He then interjected with a question of his own, "Tell me, my dear, what room is there for one's own progress then? In the Tau society it would seem only the Air Caste rule while the other Castes are tricked into believing that glory is the same as power. When in fact they could not be more different. Perhaps this maybe another reason you are here? Wishing for more for yourself for once?"

Asmodeus laughed, slammed his right had on the table, and then pointed to Beowulf, "You see Lurielle (@Uriel1339 ), this is a man with a plan. Ready to forge his own path. Wishing for the strongest challenge that he may better -himself- and thereby lengthening his life."

"The growth of an individual is to lead the others to new heights. Take O'Shaserra, or 'Commander Shadowsun' in your language. She inspires when her fire-red hair waves in the air of combat. She inspires and leads so that the other Fire Warriors can equal to her greatness. Also... The Air Caste, no offense Lord Asmodeus, are the space farers. You must mean the Ethereal or heavenly caste. And while they definitely decide on many important decisions, they are talented leaders which allow each caste to follow their own goals and grow in their respective expertise. They unite the Tau and are the head diplomats when meeting new species. Power is... Irrelevant to the Tau Empire. They wish to express themselves and they are given the opportunity unlike in the Imperium where you are forced in what to do." Lurielle explained, hoping to deflect of her own motivation. Asmodeus was spot-on, but she wouldn't show that, not as long as she still can deflect and make excuses. So she simply smiled and hid her face in the chalice of wine.

"He is also not a normal human. Nor does he know any better. He just does what the Imperium made him into. A killing machine. He merely found an excuse that makes him happy of why he continues to do, what he does. There is no higher purpose but to kill everything in his path." Lurielle shrugged dismissively.

Asmodeus smiled as he leaned back in his chair and took another drink of wine. "Beowulf (@Grall_Stonefist ), though his motives seem simple, could be just as vast as complex as any. He was, at one point or another, a human and gaining muscle and organs does not change that. For at the base of everything is one's own desire. The Imperium is an empire of rules that limited his potential, but now he knows no limits. He has the vastness of everything before him and nothing but himself to hold him back."

"And neither do I, because I grew up under the freedom of the Tau Empire rather than the Iron Fist ruling of the Imperium. But he never had the chance and never will of a peaceful life, even if he wanted to. He was so indoctrinated under the idea of that war is the only solution that he cannot help but kill. His genetic manipulations and doctrines force him to do so. But there was a bit of enlightenment which made him think to have found purpose in creating his so-called 'saga'. To strive for yourself should never be discarded, but it shouldn't be either your top priority. After all.... We are here to serve you, Lord Asmodeus. And if it was my agenda, hypothetically speaking, to rise to power. Would it be not my best interest to dethrone you?" She shook her head. "I follow your wisdom and orders in exchange of your care-taking as you already presented. Just like I worked in those horrid mines in exchange for food and a bit of coin." Lurielle jested, trying her best to stay calm and keep a smile. But that talk of egotism annoyed, even causing a bit of rage to build up.
