<Before Ship Tour> After rebuffing the wine by pushing it away from her (given that the look she had received was likely indicative there was something in the wine), Latrynix looked like she was about to say something until Vilanica stopped the Mon'keigh from touching Lurielle. Instead she then replied "I have a feeling the wine would not have agreed with me in the correct manner, but thank you for the offer." Needless to say to see Lord Asmodeus was something of a surprise to the Wych... Of the unpleasant kind. After all, those titles gave the impression of someone who was perhaps devoted to She Who Thirsts, an impression not helped by the Lord's appearance and choice of words.... And the way he treated his underlings. <Ship Tour> And if Latrynix had needed any further proof that yes, she was on a ship fully dedicated to Slaanesh, merely looking at the general opulence and vice on display was the thing that sealed the deal on being on a ship where she'd have to guard both soul and life equally well. However, the actual contents of the paintings and statues were not that worrying to the Commorrite, given that life in the Dark City was pretty much a good inoculation for that sort of thing (granted, hedonism there was tempered with the need to safeguard your own life) and some of the things on display actually brought an amused smirk to her face. Even the dammed souls screaming in pain did little to phase her, given that pain was very much one of the things that her kind needed to survive... Preferably the pain of others. Perhaps not mentioning it was a good idea to avoid disgusting the rest of the group and painting a target on her back for any Slanneshi to have someone to.... Share time with. <Rooms> @Uriel1339 When the other Commorrite showed everyone their rooms, Thexia was quite impressed but there was the small matter of Lurielle asking about sharing. To which she replied "Given how this ship reeks of She Who Thirsts... I'll share. Your room, or mine?" Needless to say, she was actually quite impressed with the luxury of the room which was much better than the hovels on offer on the Hole but... Well, surely such a lavish display of wealth had to be hiding something. At least she finally had a proper bed to sleep on and four walls to call her own. <Great Hall> After cleaning herself up to look more presentable and putting aside her twinned swords to appear less aggressive, but not changing into her dress given that the Dark Eldar wasn't quite yet sure that she actually possessed some measure of safety aboard the ship, she opened the door to find the slave who took her to the Great Hall, which earned a small nod of approval from her. However, upon entering the Great Hall, Latrynix was taken aback by how.... Direct the festivities were for those who had most likely gotten a little too drunk. After all, in Commorragh, such an open display of carnal pleasure was simply unheard of (unless it was a pair of slaves who'd lost all dignity, or an extremely misguided pair of love-birds who hadn't heard of common sense). Still, remaining composed she walked over to the only empty table and sat down as far away as possible from the two walking plague bags, and as close as possible to Lurielle. Given that everyone seemed to be making their introductions, she then said "Given the gracious welcome, it would be rude of me not to introduce myself: Latrynix Thexia, at your service Lord Asmodeus." Course, this left the simple matter of finding out what task they had all been brought together for.
~~ Earlier - Rooms ~~ @Maleth "Ours" Lurielle winked playfully, just walking into the one they were in front of. "I might not completely understand this 'Warp' or the various devotions to the entities living in it. But I understand enough to know that it bodes trouble. And hey perhaps we are more alike than we think. After all I see barely anyone else taking care of their physical appearance and wanting to stay sane. I mean look at the king of the dump, he literally invokes vomiting. How can anyone enjoy life like that? And we are both aliens... More or less." She shrugged slightly, probably Latrynix has figured it out by now that Dal'yth is not a human world name and that the armor is not a trophy of war. "As said, you can have the bed all you want and I am sure having different shower times won't be much of an issue. Anyway, I will be off to the hall. Don't want to let his lordship wait. Plus... I am fine. I like to think that anyway." And with that Lurielle turned on her heel and made for the great hall, under guidance of the slave from the empty room. ~~ Now - Great Hall ~~ Lurielle smiled as the Dark Eldar joined the table, having held the spot to her left free, while to her right sat 'Lena' (@Vulpas ). Seemed like she was the popular one already, getting next-sat-to! And she couldn't help but get a wider grin, feeling almost protected by the fellow human that Felana was and the roommate that Latrynix had become. It had been the first moments of a new adventure and she already enjoyed herself in the new company. In her heart she just hoped to not, well... Become like those around her. With that thought she suspiciously eyed Malrak, Tyresius and those at a nearby table which bothered not to get into their room. She shook her head to focus, to busy her mind starting to take a bite from the meat before herself and washing it down with a 'thirsty' sip of the wine. It was a thousand times better than the mine cantina food, and she enjoyed it greatly. Enough to let a mumbled moan out from the delicious juices of the meat. After she swallowed she just gave a 'what?' look followed by "It's simply that good, don't judge me."
Lord Asmodeus looked over to Tyresius (@seabass ) as he joined him at the table. Surprisingly he did not seemed all to phased by the pungent odor given off by him. In fact, he took another bite before wiping his mouth and speaking with an interested smile, "Now, here is someone interesting!" He pointed at Tyresius, "A son of the ever so popular, Mortarion and worshiper of Nurgle. I would have never guested one, such as yourself, would ever come aboard my ship, and yet....here you are! Tell me, how in the Warp did one such as yourself end up here?" He then looked over to Enyo (@Xaphen ) who seemed to be of the same feather as Tyresius and spoke, "Tell me Tyresius, where do the same manors you possess reside within this one. I do not know about your culture or how you were raised, but etiquette usually dictates that you address the one who has invited you to his table, does it not?" Asmodeus leaned back slightly, with a smile on his face as he begun to listen to Lurielle (@Uriel1339 ). He laughed at her comments of suspicion, "Well, I suppose you have every right to think of this as 'to good to be true' as you so aptly put it. The vast percentage of creatures that inhabit this galaxy will never see such wonders as you have on this ship, and with the wonders of newness often comes suspicion. It is a natural reaction to keep one alert and grounded in the face of things that would catch the mind off guard. However, since you have been so willing to be honest, I in turn say grant you that same curtsy. While it seems that things you could only dream of have fallen into your lap, it is not without purpose. For you see, I have need of what you have to offer, your said rifle. There are things that I need done that I can no entrust to those who reside in this ship." Asmodeus seemed much more serious as he listened to Malrak (@TuskatheDaemonKilla ). His face did not make him seem mad, but it was clear his mood was slightly different. "Tell me something Malrak, I have given you a ticket away from the meaningless life you've had on the station, given you a room on my ship to live, and invited you to sit at my table, and what have I asked as of yet in return? Do you feel whips at your back forcing you to serve me? And here we are now, at my table eating and drinking the things I have provided for you, and now you would ask more of me? Even if you had the manors to thank me for all that I have set before you, what would make you think I would be so willing to just hand over information to a servant of change?" Asmodeus seemed to approve of the way Felana (@Vulpas ) addressed him as he smiled to her. After taking a drink of wine and swallowing it, he would then speak to her with some interest, "Well Felana, thank you for joining me. I have to ask though, while I am more than familiar with the studies of medicine, what is this flesh shaping you speak of, in you would entertain my curiosity?" After taking a moment to clean off his face, Asmodeus looked over and saw Beowulf (@Grall_Stonefist ). He seemed even more surprised as he clapped his hands together amused and spoke, "A Wolf of Fernis? On my ship? Now, I must be dreaming." He smiled as he called for a slave to take wine over to Beowulf, "Fate seems to be smiling on me this day to deliver me such a strapping and ferocious example of a warrior. Well I am glad this ship is to your liking, I am sure your eyes have seen similar, Beowulf. Which begs the question of how a Space Wolf would end up here?" The Lord of the ship eyes next fell to Eva (@BuriasDempsey ), who response seemed to make him curious. "While it is more than a pleasure to meet you Eva, I simply must know more about you. After all, it is only right that I get to know who exactly it is I have brought on my ship, wouldn't you agree? I promise I do not bite....much." He smiled and laughed slightly, clearly trying to ease her tension and make himself seem more approachable. Lastly, Asmodeus heard Latrynix (@Maleth ) speak to him in a semi-proper manor. He bowed his head slightly, "It is a pleasure, Latrynix Thexia. Of course, you very kind manors and willingness to aid me seem...interesting...given the fact that I am all to certain you know more about me than I need say. I can see some of the tension your body holds being here, so it would lead me to ask why exactly you have come here? Did Vilanica talk you into this?" He looked over his shoulder to where Vilanica stood, still with her black veil over her face and her head hung slightly.
@matt23 Malrak chuckled at Asmodeus. "Well you can not fault me for trying, non the less I ask for forgiveness for my rudeness and am rather thrilled to be getting off of that station full of savages on ship such as this. Not to mention the lack of chains and whips directed at me is all the better so you do indeed have thanks and my power at your disposal." Malrak said apologetically. His words to Lurielle 'Tread lightly' echoed in his head as he felt the voices laughing at him for being a fool. They angered him he wished them to be silent but they never were and he had not the power to make them. He had power over physics and the minds of those in the materium but he could not influence the creatures of the warp in such a manor.
"Ah yes Flesh shaping Lord Asmodeus It is the study of genecrafting, editing and mutation to improve one self, others and possibly crafting a Replicae or gene edited replicae of a person, This type of study can be used wto produced Replicae that are gene edited with useful biological functions, such as faster thought processing time for quicker reaction speed, features such as dark vision so one can see in the dark, or possibly mutations that can act like weapons such as claws instead of hands or fangs or spikes in ones arm. This also has the added benefit when crafting creatures or person to possibly bound with it to have the added benefit of using hypno therapy and a combination of implantation technology to implant possibly personality traits or memories within these flesh crafted beings. Along with this and even tampering with how fast and slow a creature ages at certain parts in there life span to techincaly produce faster growing beings to mature more quickly into adults and to train for ones task." Felana said professionally stating what flesh crafting was, and its uses as she pause for a moment before speaking again. "This type of craft and technology was and likely is and still used by various criminal organizations on the Hive world I was born on and was where I learned this craft working under one that was a medic and a fleshcrafter in a gang organization that used it to bolster there number of loyal and trained troopers in there gang even creating war beasts to aid them in combat." Felana said explaining where she got her training.
@matt23 Tyresius obliged the Lords' question, "I simply traveled wherever I had to for a time. Until I found myself aboard that dark mining station. But before then, I traveled with my Legion on many glorious crusades for Grandfather Nurgle!" Tyresius sighed, "But after our defeat at the hands of strange corpse emperor slaves in steel colored armor, I wandered the void till I found myself on the hole. I cannot explain exactly why I did not move on from there. It was almost as if, I was guided there by the Plague Lord. So I remained there, and now today. The reason for my remaining there may have finally arrived!" Tyresius made plenty hint to Lord Asmodeus that the plague marine was referring to him.
Asmodeus laughed ever so slightly as he leaned back in his chair, "So it seems a follower of Tzeentch does have the capacity for manors...All the same, you are welcome and shall have full access to said resources, when and if you prove you are of value. Though I maybe a generous Lord, I do have my limits to how far I will go. I would suggest you remember that, Malrak." Lord Asmodeus nodded as he listened, "What you are explaining is all to familiar, Felana. I only had to make sure that we were of the same mind set when you spoke of your specialty. I am sure you are familiar, given your studies, with Fabius Bile, the Patriarch of gene studies and alteration. Given your name is not as well known as his, I assume you your studies are not as advanced as his?" Asmodius nodded with a smile as he listened to Tyresius. "I suppose fate has favored us both, it would seem. However, I would ask to know of your experience and specialty. Not that I have anything against followers of Nurgle, I just like to know that the smell is worth putting up with."
@matt23 Tyresius nodded, "For my duties on the battlefield, I would equate to your standard chaos marine. With several differences. My ammunition brings agonizing death to any who are struck, making them wish they hadn't survived being shot by my bolter. As for myself, Due to my Lords great blessing upon my form, my nerves are dulled to where anything that would kill any normal Astartes would barely phase me. That is the extent of my combat capabilities, but I do have another specialty outside of combat....Being a son of Nurgle, I am equitted to certain bits of knowledge that allow me to perform various...rites, or prayers." Tyresius caught himself as he surmised that the lord simply wished to know his usage in combat, "But we can discuss those at another time if you desire to hear more of that topic."
Felana nodded as the conversations with Lord Asnodeus continued, the name Fabius had come up in her strudies and working carrier a ancient fallen Astarte's, that could no only clone humans but Astarte and do things not even she could figure out. While Felana did know a good amount she knew she knew no were as near as Fabius especially with his study of Astarte and legends of his age. "Indeed my skills are not advance as Fabius espesially with asarte, My patients and creations mainly being from Humans, Mutants, beasts, replicae and some xenos species I have operated on and with I maybe no Fabius but what skills I do have I have down and I am always able to learn more of flesh change as times goes on and from more specimens I come across on my journey and from experimentation on those that would do me or my allies harm." Felana said to Lord Asmodeus being truthful to him
@matt23 Lurielle merely bowed her head in appreciation and went on with the dinner. She was asked no question, the lord liked her so far, she would not dare screw the status quo up like Malrak already did. With a happy-go-lucky smile she slowed down on her eating and drinking in order to enjoy it more. "Hey Lana, the Ethereals say that is bad stuff. Only invites trouble. Have nature it's course and instead of improve physiologically, instead engineer to give you the abilities you don't possess." Lurielle chimed in, shivering on the idea of genetical engineering. "Things that shouldn't be, are not. That is why the Imperium is such a madhouse. Creating the so-called Space Marines." She shudders again, they were a nightmare in the Fire Academies! The worst any Tau could meet. And only heroes like O'Shaserra were able to kill them.
