Holy crap. I think you guys must be close to hiring a lawyer to write up a proposal with all the fine details soon.
  2. I personally am mostly just keeping the discussion going, truth is I'd support just about anything besides what we have.

But yeah, might be getting to the point where it's getting more complicated than it needs to be. Of course we are shooting in the dark here.

Simple solution we just change the name.

Unfortunately I don't know if this is a complex issue or if people have made this complex either way you give me something I can shout "CHANGE THE FUCKING NAME!" at and I'll shout. Who at doesn't matter as I'll be helping.

  4. Personally I cannot stand the "Traitor" title and feel it's a terrible choice. If it's a GW thing then bring GW 3 other options and tell them to choose something besides traitor. When they ask "Why are we doing this again?" tell them quite bluntly it's because their paying customers absolutely despise the Traitor title.

It's no revelation that GW is out of touch with their customers. GW considers TT a hobby because of the painting and not a competitive game or sport. GW are the ones who told BHVR Space Marines dont block or parry with their melee weapons , so that's why we dont have blocking and parrying in EC. Apparently whoever we're talking to at Games Workshop has obviously never read a SINGLE novel from Black Library because Astartes, without any fraking doubt, both block and parry with their melee weapons. You've got to have big brass coated balls of steel to tell anyone that knows anything about 40K that Adeptus Astartes don't block or parry with melee weapons and say that keeping a straight face(without laughing). So you're saying Lucius the Eternal never blocked or parried with his sword?

When we're calling Nottingham for approval on concepts are we sure we're not getting the "Jerry" the night watchman at Games Workshop help desk and not "Gary" the guy in charge of product branding and marketing? There is the whole time difference thing you know...

  7. Alright, I've decided to take the initiative and took the path of the tyrant.

Poll Posted. By the Dark Gods I hope this goes somewhere.

    I'm open to edits.

  9. Heh. I still think we're making our lives more difficult in not engaging with Behaviour over a single variant after the poll, but I applaud your tyrannical decision to get things moving. And I really can't object, because I was thinking "I'll make one more post saying 'so where do we go from here' and if there was no concensus, I was going to post a poll and be damned." ;)

Incidentally, I think you nailed the description and explanation under the poll perfectly. Cheers for getting the ball rolling.

Just as a thought, you might want to alert Katie to the poll's existence at some stage before it closes - doesn't necessarily have to be right away, there'd be good reason to let it pick up some volume first. But I think it'd be helpful to the cause if the final result and our inevitable request for changing the name doesn't hit Behaviour completely out of the blue...she may have already spotted it by then and posted, of course, but if not then it would be the 'nice' thing to do. ;)

Okay, Chaos players, nice....even I'm struggling with that one.
  10. Well I still think it's a bit of a mystery, it could be rejected because it's too long, either way if we can get them to seriously consider a change then they can say "it has to be this version because it's official". Whatever the case, they're all essentially the same. Thanks though, I got on a roll and went for it, let's see if it pans out.

Personally I wanted enough respondents to be statistically valid before alerting any devs, but I wouldn't be opposed to someone else giving them a shoutout.
