MYSTIC Mystic calmly walks out, looking towards whatever is inside. Holding the orb of light in her palm. Calmly speaking to Corgins. "I am Mystic, sent here by Morph to help to... "escort" someone named Doctor Corgins?" She talked calmly. Her mask turning as she looks around the room. Clearly a bit curious If this guy actually is a corgi or not. "I have things to do, so could we just hurry up? No reason to stay here longer than you need to." HALLOW Hallow grins. Before reaching into her coat and pulling out 3 orbs. "I have a plan..." After quickly gathering the people she could. A rough 13 people, which was those that had been laying around the lair. She explained the plan. They would split into 4 groups. 3 groups of 2 and 1 of 7. The 3 groups of 2 would take one car each and drive past a important location around the city. 1 at a library. 1 at a warehouse in the lower district about 20 minute drive from here and 1 at a mall on the opposite side of the city. While they drive past, would they take these orbs and throw them at the buildings. Hallow had filled the orbs with her fire, to the bursting limit and if thrown will explode, in her extreme super heat. probably setting anything the fire touches ablaze, even stone and metal. They will drive by, throw and drive away again. Focusing on getting any pursuit lost in the slums. While the "forces of justice" is distracted by the crater and the green fires, will Hallow and the other attack one of the more outlying banks. To gather cash for use on the Dark Market.
<Aura> @Maleth @Wata @Valonox @GobMaw_HellSmasha Aura, still rather shaken and demoralised by the battle, was only too glad to turn Serpent's push into momentum for a burst of movement away from Bloodbath. In a brief display of athletic prowess, she went from stumbling to sprinting, and from a sprint to a leap, all to put distance between herself and this... foul creature. For now, she elected to watch and cover herself rather than endanger her allies for the futile hope of harming that thing. - <Dirge> @Maleth "Bah!", cried Dirge in frustration, tossing one of the humans against the wall like a ragdoll. There was a brief attempt to temper her rage in the face of the Domina, but the Dalneathan Syren abandoned this effort soon. "All they understand is their barbaric pidgin!", she shouted, moving closer to her mistress to shield her with her armoured body. As Dirge lowered her gun, simmering with rage but expending the barest minimum of control to not inflict extra casualties, she nodded her head where a bow would have been more proper, but impractical. "I failed to aid, my Domina! Forgive me, but you must further our cause, in this place, by yourself!"
@Maleth @Wata @Casavay @Valonox (WBSA) @GobMaw_HellSmasha The situation changed quite a bit in the next few seconds as the WBSA agents moved about the hallway in an attempt to reach the other side. Or at least Serpent was forcibly pushing his coworkers and suit of power armor to the presumed safety away from the gelatinous monster. Said monster had leaped up into the vents above the fleeing agents and struck out at them all with a flurry of lashing red tendrils. The lashing strands of congealed flesh managing to find their targets. Leaving gashes on the WBSA agents’ bodies and clothing, injuring them certainly but nothing fatal or severely injuring. Perhaps it would have done more if it hadn’t been blasted by two WBSA agents with fire based attacks, to say the least incredibly painful. Not only was it being burnt by super-heated bullets designed to start fires he was also reunited with the old acquaintance of hellfire. As if that weren’t enough Serpent’s power armor decided to take another swing at the creature as it was pushed by. Giving it another good shock, it would also be worth mentioning the armor seemed to shrug off the blows from the tendrils. And then Serpent unleashed a bolt of energy from his mouth, missing the creature by a good distance and instead detonating on the wall. In the same spot he had accidentally damaged with a beam earlier. Causing the walls to creek for a moment as rock proceeded to fall from the ceiling as the hallway collapsed. Crushing the now flaming gelatinous monster beneath tons of rock as thankfully the WBSA agents, and Serpent’s ludicrously expensive power armor had managed to get to safety before being crushed. Granted Gorgon was missing an arm, they were all injured to some degree, and they now had no quick way of getting to where they were originally trying to get in the first place. But at least they were alive. Surprisingly or perhaps unsurprisingly so was the gelatinous monster as heavy rocks didn’t really harm it considering its entire body could already be summed up as bone soup. The sudden cave in had put out the conventional fire on its body but the hellfire was still raging. Though it did know how to deal with such a thing, the only real issue now was to figure out how to get out of the rubble. @Wata (Deoluk) The child looked up at Deoluk and listened, still clinging to the older human as the centaur spoke to him. “O-ok…” They said as the adult they were clinging too still couldn’t find his words. Children and their boundless curiosity and naivete seemed to fear nothing sometimes and that proved useful so far. Ted then let go of the adult and lead them back down to the rest of their family. He could hear the little boy explaining what he said to his elders and soon an older man came up with two other younger men. “Would you like to come down and talk in the barn?” They asked, him and the two other men were holding some kind of strange metal pipes with wood carved into strange shapes around it. Strange weapons if he had ever seen them. @Wincent (Mystic) Turning the corner Mystic would be greeted with the sight of a mechanical body standing just outside the doorway and pointing a glowing weapon at her. Where a head should be there was instead a visor and tinted glass that hid what was beneath. “Well you are indeed speaking to Dr. Corgins, I am thoroughly surprised he actually sent someone. I always felt he would rather be rid of me.” The machine like body waved a hand dismissively as it turned around and placed the thing it was holding onto a table. “Nonetheless allow me to prepare for a moment and you can take me to the surface.” Over the course of a few minutes the body would be moving around the lab. It was then Mystic was actually able to look around and see what the lab was like, the walls were lined with weapons hung upon hooks. From simple guns to objects of such advanced make she could almost mistake it for magic. But she could sense no such things in this room, it was all creations of hard science. The product of a super genius intelligence that has been working for over half a century. And with the press of a button the panels that made up the walls flipped and audibly locked. The mechanical being turned around and faced Mystic. “That is that, shall we get going?” @Wincent (Hallow) The gang members listened to Hallow’s plan intently, doing their best to understand it all in one go so they don’t have to ask questions. No one wants to try and annoy the boss given they know full well they stand no chance against her. Once the informal briefing was over the all went out to get ready for the heist. Arming up, grabbing whatever armor they had, and finally grabbing assorted masks to protect their identities before heading out in their respective cars which had the license plates removed. As suspicious as unmarked cars were they would really rather not be tracked by police or god forbid the WBSA. Soon they were all ready and the distraction teams were leaving the hideout in their cars as the heist crew got into a van and waited for Hallow to get in. Ben was at the wheel psyching himself up for the job as the lesser members in the van did roughly the same. @Azathoth @Grall_Stonefist The faceless being seemed to nod as Daniel’s transformation. “Perhaps we could discuss this in person.” It looked at Prophet. “Come to the manner, bring your men with you if you wish I’ll have the owner prepare you something. Do not keep me waiting.” With that the figure vanished without a trace. The two simply blinked and it was gone with no evidence of it ever being there, perhaps it was simply a hallucination brought upon by the madness lurking in both of their minds. Or maybe it really was some being giving them an order or maybe an odd mixture of both. Either way at least there was some direction they could go now and standing in the middle of an alleyway was likely not entire the most inconspicuous action so perhaps they should get moving. @The_Raven “Gut-wrenching, but you’re here.” The Patron said, evidently having heard similar stories before, even with a slight smirk when Ryshan mentioned about most powerful demons. “So, I will make it clear: My holding as a haven for all Demons, a home away from home if you will. You may stay here as and when you will, under the condition you do not cause strife with your fellows within these walls. An argument is acceptable, but drawing blood is not.” She paused, idly stroking the table before continuing “Almost aptly befitting the purpose of my holdings, there is a Knight of Hell in residence here. I assume you know they’re expected to be impartial, so if you would like, I can arrange for her to be introduced to you, and make sure you have time to get your own foothold.” @Maleth @Casavay (Aliens) As the Starlen explorer searched the mind of the mammal leader she would find what she wanted fairly easily. A small operation being run in the slums of the city under the front of a tattoo parlor by an independent, well they preferred craftsman to whatever pejorative term that existed for a man who made fake ids for whoever had enough money. For earning money it also seemed the operation offered money for whoever could bring in people who had not paid debts. Perhaps the aliens would enjoy the act of hunting mammals for profit though there were other methods the Starlen learned of. Ones that were actually legal and offered not repercussions from the primitives’ law enforcement. Granted they would need those ids first. @Vulpas The Sun Valkyrie would find sneaking out more difficult than sneaking in, as she approached the path she had used before a group of armed masked men ran by. They were talking about some kind of monster roaming around down here. Then suddenly the area shook as if a large explosion had happened somewhere in the facility. The men swore and ran faster, it seems their plan might be falling apart but she could use the chaos to her advantage. Getting to where she had first entered would be easy enough but getting out unscathed would be the hard part.
Silent as mouse Sunburst and the valkyrie hung over the men. The valkyrie waiting for the men to move, she listened on in there alien language being translated in her helmet by her amulet, Sun burst waited loyalty for a simple act of a aggression or sign from his master to simply let go of the ceiling and pounce. As they felt the explosion the valkyire kept her grip on her mount as she heard the men swore and run off to another area. Seeing them go she only wondered for a few moments what the explosion was from and the talk of a monster being down here was, Either it was Sun burst or another creature within this place maybe the goo beast? It would only be another obstacle if they ran into it. She cracked her neck as she decided to grab the reigns of Sun burst. motioning to move on now since it was semi clear. The beast moving on the ceiling would keep to the shadows but be ready to strike now that things were escalating. " We keep moving keep to the shadows, things are likely to get more dangerous as we go, But we shall use the battle and alertness to our advantage." She said into beasts ear causing a rumbling once more in its stomach. They both were ready for a fight if one was to come, the only questions of what type of combat to engage these men and things with, Lethal or nonlethal?. As they continued on the gryphon would stick near the ceiling in the vents back tracking its way by passing near vents or other things that would obstruct it from view.
<Serpent> When they were finally safe, Serpent leaned on his knees to catch a quick breath and recover from Bloodbath's shock attack, man has to be eased into something like that. It had all went wrong so fast. He did not want to think about what that thing was, the fact that this was his second sighting of it and that it probably wasn't even dead under all that rubble. After a few seconds he realized he was bleeding. A sight and sensation he didn't have often, even in this line of work. There goes peaceful sleep for the following days. He looked at his chest and the gash Bloodbath had slashed across it. His body was already at work healing it at a faster rate than human but it'd leave a scar for a few weeks at least. "Ilona, give us a status report on the facility. We need another way forward." "Everyone alright?" Serpent took a look at the others. Gorgon didn't have an arm but he seemed to be rather okay with the fact, that one was a survivor, if he could even feel pain anymore. Can it be even called "he" anymore? Elly seemed less than perturbed on the outside, that girl had some secrets for sure, he wasn't sure did he really want to know what had made her so jaded. What was he really getting into with her? To her he gave a concerned look and an affirming nod that she was alright. Then his gaze fell on Aura, who seemed like a mess. "Hey..." Serpent walked over and rested a hand on her shoulder, speaking softly with a look of concern. "I know you're scared, you have every right to be but we can't stop here. The mission isn't over yet. Are you hurt?" He crouched to get down to her eye level as he spoke. <Deoluk> The druid held back a sigh. He crossed his arms over his barreling chest, look of slight disappointment on his face apparent. "If everyone inside said barn has empty hands, I will. How many times must I repeat myself? I only wish to talk, it is alright to be intimidated but have I attacked or threatened you so far? What has made you so nervous?"
The crimson creature found itself trapped under the rubble. An insurmountable amount of rock and debri kept it's form liquified. And if that wasn't enough, the fire from before was still burning it alive. It must have been the same type of fire from before that defied laws of nature. For all intents and purposes the damnable flames should have been cut off from an oxygen supply after the cave in. Before continuing to dwell on the mysterious nature of these flames, it focused it's efforts to more pressing matters. Mainly escaping the current situation it found itself in. It began coalescing itself into one central location under the rubble. Under the tons of rubble, the pools of crimson ichor slowly gathered into a single spot, until it's-still burning-form began to take shape. Displaced rock and rubble moved aside as it continuing reforming. It recognized some foreign matter enter it's body, the silver locket it continued to carry with it. It seems it subconsciously kept the trinket safe and intact. However it was not the only object it's form latched too during the cave in. What seemed to be the remnants of an arm-a metallic arm- found it's way into the blood colored figure. Perhaps it would find some use for it at a later date. After successfully reforming itself to the best of it's abilities-and baring the searing pain from the flames-it produced a series of 6 boney hands with sharp, sturdy digging claws on the ends to expedite it's escape. It had no real direction in mind, so it simply began digging upwards. Knowing that at the very least, it would have to hit the surface if anything. It'll worry about just how it would retrieve the project files it came for when it would be able to focus clearer, for now making a hole out of the facility was it's primary task.
<Gorgon> Gorgon looked at everyone holstered his rifle grabbed his sword and leaned it on a wall. "Well there goes tax payers money. The repairs are gonna suck." Then he saw Aura and the state she was in and saw Serpent trying to boost her morale. " This isn't the time to heal mental wounds Serpent that can be done at another time. We need to get to a more secure position for I fear that ooze boy will come after us or shall we move to my floor that has a lot more defenses?" Turning off his speakers that were still blaring music. "Apologies had to keep my sanity in that fight or that could of been real bad."
Ryshan nodded eagerly, quite eager to please "Yes of course, any advice on what i should do first though? so far I've just been amassing money, and i don't even know what to spend it on..."
<Dark Phoenix> @Wata , @Valonox With the situation relatively over, Phoenix took a moment to catch her breath, checking her face to find yes, there were some cuts there. Seeing that thing again, well, by this point she was going to have to come up with some banter, if only to keep things lively and fresh on that front. Still, she felt her face, finding cuts that were probably going to heal sooner rather than later, but gave Serpent a nod to confirm that she was alright. "Yes, I'm alright. Still, I need to ask what is with that thing, as well, that's the third time I've crossed paths with it." Then Gorgon spoke, so she said to him "And frankly, better to help her now than pushing forward irrespective of future cost." Having said that, she did keep an eye out for anything amiss from the surroundings, just in case. <Thunderbird> @Casavay "Now, now." Rervana said, seeing her slave's temper. "I've already got something to go on for furthering the goals." But still, better to have Q understand the language rather than in such a state again, so the Starlen went to imbued her understanding into her slave's mind. Course, there was the small matter of getting to the operation for the IDs, but that well, that would be far easier compared to what had gone on beforehand.
